Can I use my IPhone tablet 12inches and my I phone 13 to do my video? I am kind lost here. I have the teleprompter but don’t know how to use with my two devices I have.
I found out that to mirror-flip my existing slides with PPT Mirror tool and use them in a teleprompter is a definitive guide to giving eye contact and a good option to assist me in delivering professional narration than using word for word script, because I don't have to read word for word as I always have my whole concept in front of camera.
What do you think about using this with a flip up screen camera? Do we lose the ability to see ourselves if we use this teleprompter? Are there other models that would not have this problem? I use a 50mm lens so that you have an idea of the distance between myself and the camera/teleprompter.
The flip up screen would not be seen. If you have a camera capable of USB video or HDMi out then this would be a better option. 50mm is probably too long a focal length needing about 8-10 feet for head and shoulder talking head.

A teleprompter helped me a ton, I present my videos using Powerpoint slides in a teleprompter, so I mirror-flip the slides with PPT Mirror software (using a bluetooth remote). Helps me record videos keep eye contact with viewer and I always have my whole concept in front of the camera. Maybe this helps.

Hi, thanks for your review. What's your take on using a smartphone vs a tablet as the device for reflecting the teleprompter? I would need to buy a second device, so not sure if a cheap smartphone is enough, or I should opt for a tablet instead since smartphone text is too small to read properly?
@@allthecommonsense for some reason I guess for the iPhone 12 the app needed to be updated to work not sure if they updated or not. What did you download on?
@@allthecommonsense sweet I'm going to try again, by the way theres an app called teleprompter, theres a free version and if you complete the objectives it'll give you the pro version for free. You can program the desview remote with that app and it allows syncing with your computer to easily import scripts. I love that feature, before I would copy paste into my notes on my Mac and then open on my iPhone notes and copy paste to the app. now I just click the script from within the app and it imports it to my phone super simple

Yes a little period of "lockdown blues" really hit my drive to produce material. Getting over it now. I guess that element of photography requires a lot of specialist gear such as first surface mirrors and retractors plus a willing dental practice and patients - not something that would be easy to accomplish.
This prompter is a complete piece of crap, it does not come with an IPad mount in the box, which it does suggest in any ad and webshop ive seen it in. It mounts on a lens but then does not fix so it keeps rotating, which makes it for my use on a gimbal completely useless but not ideal for steady use either. Hoorible instruction and no logical assembly, just terrible
