Damn, I was always wondering how people read their scripts, I was struggling so much! I am ashamed of myself for not thinking about it earlier, like it's common sense! I will look into this for sure, you guys are helping me improve my YT journey so much, thanks! Amazing product you reviewed!
I bought a t2 from ebay for 40 quid! It's been great. I don't think I really need the mounts and the size limits for the t2 are fine for me but for anyone reading, i can't stress how great it is to have a teleprompter of any kind like this.
Ahh now I know your secret why your reviews are always great, precise, and easy to understand. You use a teleprompter. 😃 We would love to have one if our channel is like yours, reviewing cameras and gears. Remembering all the bullet points is not fun! We've done it before and it took ages to shoot and edit for a scripted video. A teleprompter would be a lifesaver.
Haha yeah I know the feeling! Have a look at the older model t2, it's pretty similar but you can probably get one on ebay or amazon for pretty cheap now!
For me I hate trying to memorize the things i am needing to read so a telemprompter like this would be super useful. It's a great review, many thanks my friend, big like!
Thanks so much for this review! I'm terrible at memorizing lines and couldn't figure out how people were producing so much technical content and not spending a million hours doing it. Teleprompter -- duh! lol. I was going to go with another product but your video convinced me on this one. Will have it tomorrow and hopefully it will help me double my long-form video output and cut my editing in half! Thanks for the review!
SUPER helpful video. I just had the T2 and T3 in my cart on amazon, about to get the T2 because it was cheaper, and this sold me on the T3. All of the little upgrades you mentioned would've been a huge pain to not have with the T2 haha thank you!
Super love this. Organized and tidy channels. Simple yet interesting content. Keep it up! Don't give up! Keep on creating lots of content. Hopefully one day you will be a successful content creator.
Price is awesome in both versions. It is also not too big, but as you mention later in the video when putting it in the camera, it seems heavy. For some videos, we go with a script but for others we capture moments, but again, a teleprompter would make life so much easier, maybe if we get the van! Wish us luck
🤔 hmmmm this would make the retirement videos that we make a lot easier hahaha. Thanks for the review Aaron this looks like an excellent piece of equipment simple easy and portable 👍
Browsing your video makes me happy! Your video is very innovative, and your creation is very successful! The video is very attractive, vibrant and colorful! Learn from you! Good luck every day!
Ha.. i can tell you are using it.. but when you gave examples of use, it was not in the script.. that is why you looked off... (i think, just intuition). .. GREAT VIDEO.. I am thinking of buying one.
this is good! no need to write or have a pad in front of you that needs to flip or scroll hehe, this makes you feel like a professional on cam personality like news reporter LOL
I can see how this can be a time saver when compiling/editing the video, but how much time do you spend writing the scripts? All of the videos on my channel were done without scripts, and yes it can be obvious at times! But I also shot very different types of videos i.e. not reviews or teaching. I can see at least 30 min to an hour in script writing and editing the script. Does that seem about right for the amount of time you spend doing it?
Yeah depends on the video, but about 30-90 minutes depending on how much I need to research. But regardless, I would script for most things, so being able to read the script instead of trying to memorize it is already a massive time saver for me.
Agree about the flimsy way it holds on to the camera though. But seeing as these would normally always be used while filming static, it's not really an issue for me.
Thanks for the awesome review! Are you still using the T3 in your new videos? Also do you find shooting at 24mm your eyes go left to right when reading?
@@RudyVisuals cheers mate, actually already got one haha, been playing with it now and find that if you place the text in the middle of the iphone (where lens is) there’s no movement in eyes!
Yeah that's definitely a downside I forgot to mention. It's not so bad if you just have the remote in your hand but I'm usually talking and balancing a bunch of things all at once. Thanks for stopping by!

Same doubt here. I have Sigma 16mm 1.4 and I use it on Sony ZV-E10, which makes the lens become 24mm. I'm not sure whether it's going to work or not, I hope so, coz I just bough this TP. 😅 Watch what he said at 2:45.
If you have a $1000 camera, you wouldnt use a $100 prompter. You would at least get the Elgato for $350.. or something near. This is a "budget" prompter for people with cheap Rebel cameras or smartphones or webcams that just need a prompter that works... Great info.
Thanks for the content, may you please help me to understand how the remote control has to be linked? I have issues in connecting it with my samsung phone. Thanx, Max
Hey Max. It should just connect simply via Bluetooth but we did have issues with an older pixel 3a phone in the past. Have a go using another phone and if it's still giving you issues the RC could potentially need replacing.
@@RudyVisuals Thak you rudy, May you suggest me please the info of the client's service of this product so that I may ask directly to them their point of view and eventually the replaement. Thanks
Hello! Thank you for this video. I have a Sony ZEV10 with the kit lens (PZ 16-50). I'm not sure which ring to use to hang the teleprompter. I am not sure if I know how to properly place the ring on the lens, but as far as I can tell, none of the rings that come with the teleprompter seem to fit. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
@@RudyVisuals Great thank you for the reply, I am currently using apps that forces me to read word-for-word which leads me to feel uncomfortable on camera, so I found PPT Mirror software that converts PPT Slides into teleprompter software (as I don't have to read word-for-word because I always have my whole concept in front of a camera) and the software allows me to control the slides with remote, so I wanted to confirm if it would be the good option to assist me in levelling up my video quality, especially talking heads
Hello Aaron, I have the Desview T2 and there is ia blueish haze so it changes the color of my footage. have you experience any color shift when using the T3
The teleprompter itself is a good product and affordable, but the APP sucks! you can't custom anything, the import feature is so bad. You can't edit the script in the app easily, it always on portrait mode / you can't change it to horizontal when editing the script. Do you have any other alternatives to the APP?
Have to agree, the app is not great. I prefer to just edit my scripts in word and then only copy and paste into the app once everything is ready and only use the app for viewing.
which tripod or rig setup do you use to mount the T3? My tripod can't handle both the ZV E10 + T3 and I'm not entirely sure what to buy to support both.

A great little review.
Great review as always 👍🏿
Please can you tell me What size ring adapter works for the Sony 18mm to 55mm kit lens and also the Sigma 16mm 1.4
for some STRANGE reason this teleprompter doesn't fit the Sony A5100 kit lens which is 40.5mm
Yeah we have a macro lens that doesn't have the right filter thread size. You'll have to use it with a different lens I'm afraid.
Thanks for the awesome review! Are you still using the T3 in your new videos? Also do you find shooting at 24mm your eyes go left to right when reading?

does the readability (the reflection contrast, I guess?) change much if filming/reading outdoors? still ok? not an option?
Yep still works fine :)

Do you worry about the weight of the teleprompter plus the weight of the tables will stress the lens mount and camera?
Great question. From my POV it doesn't seem like it's enough weight to really worry about.

Can you use it with a webcam?
how is it when using outdoors?
On a bright day it can be a little dark but as long as your device is big enough and the subject isn't too far away it's still readable.
Do you think this helps with camera shyness and lack of confident speaking in front of the camera?
100% yes!
I need a 52mm adapter ring for a t3. Can I buy one from you?
Hi Aaron,
Thank you for the video, did you have any experience using Powerpoint slides in a teleprompter from any of your presentations?.

I downloaded the app but then text appears vertically is there a way to change this to horizontal?
How does it work outisde in the sun, outside?
It's not the best in direct sunlight if I'm honest but if you're reading it from close enough or in the shade it's still fine :)
Looks a really good option than just using some software with a tablet.
100% so much better then that!

Yes it should, just check the lens filter size, it should say on your lens :)
