Great review! I bought this kit and was looking for a video to see how easy it was to setup when I found yours. As simple as it is to setup you made it much more enjoyable for me by taking the guesswork out of trying to figure out what the extra bracket and screws were for as well as using the apps. Having an idea of how to use the gear ahead of time takes so much guesswork and frustration out of the pitfalls you can often come across no matter how simple the setup might seem. What is like the maximum distance you are able to read and feel comfortable with`? I am looking for something I can read from 3-4 Meters away but I have only a 12" Tablet

Hi! Thanks for the comment - you can actually use any software you like - it doesn't need to be their own one. If you don't want to use any app, you could still use the iPad to show a static text document to reflect in the teleprompter. hope that helps!

Thanks man! In fact, most teleprompter apps on the app store have this feature to change the text size! Or alternatively, you could download any on your phone and use your phone, it will be small enough to be centered on the teleprompter so your eyes don't wonder. Hope that makes sense?
Nice. I have a Desview T3, and was thinking of upgrading to a T12. I wonder, though. I would use a Lilliput A11 monitor, which is 252mm (SLIGHTLY) wider than the 25cm spec of the T12. Do you think it would fit?
I've not had any light leak in through the fabric, so I would say it does a great job - and this is set up directly infront of my windows where plenty of light shines through.

Yep, you can just get a phone mount that you put onto the release plate behind the cover, it should still work as equally as good

My only concern is the fabric. It looks cheaper than others I have seen and used. Does it let in light?
