What a beautiful horse. As my dad was dying at 99, he kept 'seeing' beautiful horses, as he had been a horse whisperer all his life. Two weeks after his death, in a field where I had never seen a horse before or since, there were a number of stunning horses like this. I knew in my heart that my dad had sent them to me to comfort me. Miss you, Dad.

I often think about how proud he would be if he had been around and seen Spotilas. We are just normal horse people - breeders, who are so fortunate to have him ❤️🤗

I looked him up on your website. Very impressive. Hope, he makes a lot of babies, that are as beautiful and talented as he is! I would love to see more variety in coat patterns in European sports horses.
Totally agree 😍 -I have 4 coming myself. One is by Lady Gaga, full sister to the GP stallion BH Zee me Blue, (BH Zack x BH Don Schufro).. The Love story Dam line if this means anything to you. VERY excited about that one!

I hope, his story won´t be such sad as the one of "Totilas", which also was a "well balanced", beautiful and giftful horse. Due to that, he was so expensive, his value was rated over the needs a normal horse had, so he wasn´t allowed to get on the paddock alone and had no other horses around him. Most of the time he spend in prison. Since I saw a documentary about that, my opinion on sports riding changed totally.
Apparently Totilas was this guy's dad based on what I've found looking this horse up online. I too hope he has a full life that his sire didn't get to have.
This is common treatment of many studs unfortunately.
I have a 6 pound mini Pomeranian named Marley (as in Bob) that is a chocolate Merle. He and this gorgeous horse are brothers from another mother! Absolutely beautiful!!

Looks like an Appaloosa both in color ( each horse's color & markings are unique to that individual ) & body type ; also , in the US the breed does more than western disciplines .
He is a Knabstrupper - no Appy blood at all. But it the same genes that makes the color 🤗

There are ancient Chinese paintings that show horses of all colors & coat patterns , including " Appaloosa " , " Paints / Pintos " , " Buckskins " , " Palomino " , etc. that are well known breed organizations in the US today . Our modern horse breeds have very interesting histories . I professionally showed a few color breeds - a good horse is a good horse . 💙 🏆
Appaloosas are actually one of the youngest breeds that carry the leopard complex patterns, Knapbstruppers and Norikers have been recorded to have them pretty much since their breeds were first recorded and many other breeds can have it pop up from time to time (including breeds you wouldn't think like Thoroughbreds and Arabians though it is incredibly rare). There are actually more European breeds that can have LP spotting than American breeds and most of the American breeds originally came from Spanish and some Russian breeds that were brought over anyway so they definitely are not the originators. Even calling the pattern "Appaloosa" is a very recent trend that has only been commonly used around 30-40ish years and was pretty much exclusively to raise awareness of the breed but is very misleading.

As a long time Appaloosa owner and enthisiast i am so pleased this big guy is out there showing the world his wonderful talent and the inate versatility of the horses. I can't wait to see more of him in competitions.
