I 100% agree with you. I also do not plan to buy the PS5 Pro and a huge advocate for physical media. This direction that Sony is going into is the wrong one in my opinion, and they're trying to shift the hate from the PS5 Pro reveal with the 30th anniversary annoucement.

I don’t know how anyone can justify the PS5 Pro. A marginal graphics upgrade and less features… The price tag alone shows how out of touch they are but the removal of the disc drive and stand to be sold separately??? Sony was very smart in announcing the special edition version of the Pro though bc I already know people who hated on the Pro are gonna buy because it’s rare :/ Personally, I’m gonna pick up one of the controllers because they look really good and I could use a second controller to swap between. I’m concerned for the future of Sony going forward. I wonder how they’re gonna launch the PS6 in a few years. If you care about physical media, vote with your wallet and don’t buy the PS5 Pro.
Playstation is copying Xbox for digital. Wrong about Nintendo because they go with the fan base in Japan because 70 percent is physical people so Nintendo will keep it as long as there Japanese people buy physical. In about 10 to 15 years maybe less be live subscription servics. No physical. By than I have some retro gaming up and I go to pc and Nintendo I be happy.
