@rene8564 Good comment, I totally agree with what you say about Johnny & Sid and how they were portrayed in the public eye. And even though back then was more of a somewhat simplistic time period, it does go to show how people can be terrified of something they don't understand, and that of somebody who doesn't fit in with 'the norm' of those who are more akin with the so-called 'moral majority'. Glad you like the video ;-)

WOW, the memories. In 1987 my school friend gave me this song I was 11, I came home & played it full volume in my bedroom on a Sanyo cassette player, then, my Mum came it smashed the cassette player against the wall and beat the shit out of me for playing such 'Vulgar Music" Subsequently I was made to go to Mass and repent to our local parish priest & got grounded for the school holidays & thus in turn my LIFE LONG LOVE for the Sex Pistols began..
@scouserla1 After making such a bold statement I have to ask, what was it you think the band stood for? Also, the only people that made money from the band were Richard Branson & Malcolm McLaren. The band were actually used for all they were worth and they eventually sued McLaren for royalties that they justifiably deserved. You've actually made a band that changed the course of music sound like the spice girls. You may like listening to the Sex Pistols, but you clearly don't really know anything about them...
The Sex Pistols stood against the fat, bloated carcass of the Rock 'n Roll industry that the once proud genre had become... When Rolling Stone actually produced relatively well thought out pieces of music critique (relatively being the operative), they described the Sex Pistols' goal as "to be the last Rock 'n Roll band"...which may be a bit of a stretch (RS LOVED the Clash and used the juxtaposition as a segue to describing the Clash as the "saviors of Rock 'n Roll"--more stretching indeed given where the Clash ended up)...
Still my favorite pistols song after all these years. Fantastic

I remember this its on the Filth and the Fury DVD, its a good clip. Love it.
Ha ha 1977. I was 10. to ! (Thanks for Posting this Clip).
i had a mate who was there . he wasnt into the pistols but told us that jonny gave him a skateboard ,we all laughed at the liar at that time. He said it was in Huddersfield and we laughed !!!!! as if the postols would play a kids party !!!!! little did we know. we just assumed his mum had bought the skateboard and he was trying to fit in with us.
they gave shit away and lots of cake! anyone who was there knows what i mean... best day of my life still all these years latter. I was 10ish and my dad was on strike.
@@jacobmoon7342 Yes my mate would of been around that age. He was younger than us and always tried to impress us so we thought he was bullshitting us ,it wasnt untill the internet that i found out about this. I dont think his dad was a fireman though and he lived in wakefield but he must of been there. There was no way his family could afford a top of the range skateboard like he got. This was the last gig they played in england before they went to America and split up . you was part of history my friend.
ha ha fantastic... thanks for sharing that.. F8 best day ever.. the pistols were like energy... all the starving hyper strike kids LOVED THEM!!! and we went mad when they even did the first chord. cheers and keep the faith my friend :)
❤ Many people round the world owe their gratitude to the sex pistols for their performances. A big Figure up, at the British elitist aristocracy class, at this point in time. “No future” vision for the youth of Britain and countries of the Commonwealth youth generation felt the same as these brilliant British lads. Echoes, Ripple effects was applauded by our youth worldwide 👏 throwing off the shackles of British classist divided culture
GOD BLESS THE US SCOTUS! WHAT A GREAT DAY FOR LIFE!

This song makes me wanna scream to the top of my lungs. Love this song. I miss my childhood.
👍🏼!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣..fuckn' brilliant!🇮🇪
How cool! What a great way to give back to the community after you’ve taken the piss out of them.
The best day care center in history!......lucky kids!
My mom was a metalhead hanging around punks in 80s. She showed me Sex Pistols.
Absolutely epic
The last few seconds are awesome!!😅🎤
@scouserla1
After making such a bold statement I have to ask, what was it you think the band stood for?
What role did Richard Branson play ? lol
shut up this is filosofy is punk lil bitch
Ch1oopachoo
Umm Virgin Records lol
Scott K. "The Sex Pistols stood against the fat, bloated carcass of the Rock 'n Roll industry that the once proud genre had become... " Agreed!!
