Great video it was very helpful. I had the WHIM installed in my 22 RGL but, couldn’t how to get my Car Play to work. I was wearing a helmet without my SENA headset. I order a Car Play jump but, haven’t installed it yet because I wasn’t ready to give up on the WHIM. I tried the helmet with the SENA and now I have Car Play and voice commands. Thanks again for a great video.
I noticed you had XM Radio, my dealer said you can’t both a XM Radio and a WHIM.

This was really helpful. I have a 2022 Road Glide Limited that I had. WHIM installed in and I bought two Shoei helmets that were designed for the Sena wireless headsets. I have not been able to get everything working correctly. I a going to try what you recommend to see if I can get Car Play showing up and get my helmets connect so my wife and I can talk while we ride. Thank you!

Haven't checked in a year or so, but it used to be that if you didn't have the HD version ($$) of the Sena headset, you could only get mono, even with the WHIM. Has that changed?
Not sure about the HD helmet 30k but my 30k had a software update to make it a 50. Then bought new set of 50s after wife had an accident and hers was destroyed.
Another blogger stated you only need the dealer to tick the box to say the whim is connected and you get the CarPlay menu without the need for the unit or headset. Saves money
did you talk to the service manager or did you just talked to mechinc to just set it up for you? and did you need a headset?
Can use chatterbox for jumper?? I dont have sena
Great job but I still don’t understand what the $300 WHIM does that the $15 jumper doesn’t… outside of voice controls? But a regular Sena can do voice commands too. And I’ve not found anyone to answer that question. I wish I could bring my bike w/o the WHIM and do a compare and contrast with a bike with a WHIM. That would be fun and informative
Anyone wanting Apple CarPlay. You don’t need a WHIM or jumper. The bike just come stock with Apple CarPlay turned off. Just have the Radio Flashed to Turn on Apple CarPlay.
I have a 2018 CVO limited ultra can I get Apple CarPlay without having to use a headset? If so how can I get it up
Look into a jumper. It’s videos that talks about install and the jumper can be found on Amazon
Sena is pretty crappy system. Cardo is much better.

And yes I bought the Cardo Black.
