Josh, I’m not sure how to properly ask this, but I notice your strings have a ton of play, or “ looseness”, or slink in them. I prefer Super Slinky on my electric strings, but the ones that came on my Cordoba nylon are stiff...do you have a strings suggestion?

Josh, I'm really enjoying these Etude lessons. The "outside" video shoot is nice as well, just to remind us that guitar playing is supposed to be fun and joyful. Thanks, John

Hi John. That's awesome. A lot of these studies are beautiful pieces in their own right. Sometimes calling them a study does them a disservice. I'm loving shooting in the great outdoors. A few years ago I'd have been shooting with a rifle. Now I've exchanged that for a video camera :)

+van1976 Hi! Seems like you really got your money's worth from your Noad book. Singing along can help but of course you still need to know which notes to sing haha

Do you have any advice about bass string muting because sometimes Sor has two eighth notes low / high and my teacher used to mute certain bass notes by catching g them with the side of the thumb - which I find difficult . Thank you for this lesson

Your teacher is right on the money. You can also mute with your fretting hand if that is more efficient than using your picking hand. Because Sor composed this muting the strings as he wrote is probably for the best. All the best and you're welcome 😄
