    absolutely amazing tutorial..plays the whole thing through first, then note by note breakdown going back and playing section by section within context (very important). this is how every guitar tutorial should be structured for maximum learning. Only thing missing i would say is the root chord names not just the numbers. thank you!

      Thank you very much for such a concise breakdown of my breakdown! I've never really thought about naming the chords and tbh I honestly don't think I could unless I spent ages analysing the harmonic structure of the piece(s) that I teach.

      Hi Vitto! You're welcome man. I had a great time in Italy last year. Sadly, I was only in Rome for 2 nights but it was enough time to get around and see the main attractions and eat some awesome food. If I wasn't polite I think my parents would be very upset with me. Have a great day!

      Hi Reginald. You are most welcome. I taught guitar in New Zealand (for many years) and Dubai for a short time and I think it enabled me to develop a method to help people learn even if they couldn't read tabs or music notation. If you or they can read tabs or notation then it can certainly help but the entire point of my videos is to ensure that you can learn the complete song without needing either. Thanks for taking the time to write a comment too!

      Hi Credano. Thanks a lot man. The plan is to do it for years! But I will be removing all of my videos that are part of a series very soon. I will making those pay-per-view only on my website. I wanted to keep them all available but sadly hardly anyone has donated or purchased my sheet music and tabs so I need to find another method. All the best with your studies. Let your fingers fly!

    Hey Josh,
    Your guitar is Flamenco style, isn't it? Does your guitar buzzes? I mean mine do and what i know is Flamenco tends to buzz on the E strings. But, i almost can't hear yours buzzing, it sounds beautiful. Do you have some tips on how to prevent it? It really bugs me..
    Regards.

    • @nbnguitar
      @nbnguitar  7 років тому +1

      Hello. My guitar is a standard classical guitar. It buzzes sometimes but that is caused by the CTP-2 preamp case being a little lose in its housing. I think the buzzing you are talking about is 'fret buzz'. That's caused by either displacing the string too far (plucking really hard) and/or having an action that is too low.
      You can prevent it by analysing your picking style and perhaps not playing too hard or forcefully. The other way is too adjust your action. In addition to that you can also try different tension strings.
      I hope that helps!

      joshua rogers between 0.54 to 0.58 , you are a good guitarist. Dont take it personal, even i learnt many techniques from you.

    • @nbnguitar
      @nbnguitar  7 років тому

      Cheers man. I didn't take it personally. I think what you saw at the moment was just an 'editing segue'. I probably stuffed that part up in run through, recorded it again, and then just joined the two videos together. It's a common thing. A lot of guitarists pre-record their tracks and then 'mime' their performance. I play everything live.
