The wired 8Bitdo mint green controller has been a warrior for my Windows gaming laptop. They are a no-nonsense controller that is free of gimmicks and unnecessary RGB lights. I’ve only had it since June but it’s been something I use everyday that hasn’t worn out.
Wires are extremely underrated... I love not needing to charge, not needing to switch batteries, not needing to re-sync, and re-connecting when going between different devices. Just plug the cable into the device and it works. I went with two wired "8Bitdo Pro 2" controllers for my girlfriend's place. And her reaction was "I haven't realized how much I have missed the simplicity of just plugging in a cable, it's so nice". We both have wired headphones these days, wired controllers. We love the simplicity of it all. No troubleshooting bluetooth connection issues etc... Sometimes "modern conveniences" end up getting in the way of ACTUALLY being convenient.
Does anyone know if you can connect TWO wireless controllers to the same computer? If so, can you connect to the same USB receiver, or do you always have to connect both receivers?
@@PughsReview I can't find it. There was another video that said hall effect, and try ANOTHER video that it has some other magnetic joy stick. I don't know if they are different controllers or what? Maybe one is the XBox version. Sorry.
@@PughsReview Yes. It's confusing, they seem to just be called Ultimate, but the one for $70 apparently has it? I want it, even though it's usually the L1 or L2 I seem to break playing rocket League. I loved the Vitrix Gambit, but I broke the L1/L2 on it, got it replaced for free and then broke off of the joysticks, on. Losing streak in League. The second time was just from smashing it repeatedly. First time was organic
Why do younger generations have such a hard time pronouncing the word “button“ with the appropriate T’s in place? Rather, they pronounce it as “buh-en”….I’m not a word Nazi, at least I didn’t think I was, but it drives me nuts when I hear people pronounce it that way because it sounds kind of, I don’t know, illiterate.

The price makes it well worth it.

I get that for sure.
my friend you know you can use wireless version with wire too. Just plug and play.
This was really helpful, thanks!

I will have to look I to 2 at once, but I would assume they would need to be on their own receiver
@@PughsReview any update?
@@PughsReview Did it work?
hows the analogs on these controllers are the very sensitive? is the deadzone massive?
If I remember, circularty was around a 10, which is typical.
How many wireless one a PC can connect? If it can, no interference between all the 2.4ghz connectors?
Does the 8bitdo ultimate c only works on switch and not iPhone
how about this analog for racing game? is it good? no drifting?
I had no drift out of the box, and for the time I tested them.
@@PughsReview thanks
lol you have a section labelled ‘latency’….i don’t mention latency at all. Shame as latency is one of the key concerns with 8bitdo controllers.
Yea, I didn't physically mention it, but I did put it as text on screen.
I was planning on buying a 8bitdo Ultimate C for my Redmi Note 9. Wondering how can i connect the controller to my phone without Bluetooth.
Maybe the wired one with a usb-c adapter
Other places are saying this does have hall effect joysticks
I'm pretty sure they don't. Hopefully, I'm not wrong. No where so I can look into it.
The website itself says alps joysticks. Man, don't scare me like that 😅

@XEra404 maybe different controller a lot of theirs do have hall effects these don't which makes since the cost is really low.

The colors are a crime they should've made it red, blue and green. To fit on my pc theme black and red.

No, no, no, we’re not talking about some regional thing. This is countrywide.
