I'd say the reason they didn't put a decent bevel in that middle gap is down to cost. Part of the reason they got it down to $30 likely just comes down to how much of the molding for the Ultimate they're able to reuse. Personally, the lack of Amiibo support isn't that bad, just considering that it's both cheap and wireless; something that we were lacking on the Switch for a very long time. On a bit of a tangent from that, I'm not seeing much reason for someone to grab a Switch Pro Controller at full price nowadays. A bit cheaper and you can get a better d-pad, sacrificing HD Rumble (which few games make good use of) and NFC (but if you have a right joycon, you're probably fine without.) For the same price or a bit more, you can get a similarly good d-pad and now hall effect sticks, memory/turbo functions, and maybe grip buttons. Meanwhile the Switch Pro Controller has a mushy d-pad and sticks that start drifting over time and have snap-back issues out of the box. At the end of the day, I think we all grab peripherals for comfort reasons, and sometimes that might just mean grabbing whatever the official option is, but if these options were available at launch and I knew enough about 'em all, I think I would've grabbed anything but the Pro Controller.
Yep scrolling through unfamiliar brand is quite hard. Then I saw this controller, looks nice, watch some reviews and cant wait for it to arrive. There are a lot of positive reviews for this controller. For its price I think its gonna be okay
i have it since a month and i would say its better than an 360 controller. decent dpad too which alot of controllers (including everything playstation imo) mess up.

Well, I don't use amibo and don't care about the weight. I also got a full refund on mine due to a shipment issue... and only THEN it showed up. I use it on PC and switch, and it's by far the best controller I've ever touched new below $40. I am partial to the blue one, so it's what I ordered. Good review, and glad I made a good choice.
This comes across as a perfect 2nd, 3rd and 4th player controller. If you already have the joycons and a Nintendo Pro controller then you can pick 2 of these up and have a full complement of controllers to play Mario Kart 8 etc

I'm currently looking for a controller whose sticks won't drift as my official wireless Nintendo switch pro drifts and I have 3 powerA controllers that drift so I was trying to see if this had a better reputation. Besides reviewing the controller's quality over time I'd say this was a perfect short and detailed video.

For sure! In general, most third party controllers (Ultimate C included) are recognized by Switches the same as a Pro controller. As such, you should be able to connect as many of them to a Switch as it can handle.
I think they did no redesigne the controller's shape so that they can use the same manufacturing process over the whole ultimate range. MAkes perfect sense from a production pov. For the asking price it's a decent option e.g. as 3rd and 4th controller...
The Ultimate C "for PC" (soft green and soft violet colors) don't support Switch, but includ a Wireless adaptator (and a XBox layout), does this version include a wireless adaptor? or is it bluetooth only? Regards.

Does it work with Android devices? Despite the box saying that it only communicates with a switch, it must be compatible with other devices via Bluetooth.
It'll work with all models. All models of Switch actually use the same hardware. So you shouldn't have to worry about wireless controller connectivity differences between them.
This video only focuses on Switch because it's the main advertised compatibility. However, it'll connect to other computers running MacOS, Windows, Android, etc via Bluetooth as well.
I can't in good conscience recommend Nintendo's pro remote to anyone. Yeah, it has two things that other remotes don't have. ...That being amiibo support and HD rumble, but... The Dpad is awful. It's prone to false diagonals because there's no pivot joint in place and the sticks use potentiometers, which means they're prone to drift over time. Not a great product for 70 dollars, imo.

Yep! When used away from a Switch, it connects as a standard Bluetooth controller.

No wireless adapter is included. It's just a Bluetooth Switch controller.

it does! you just have to install its firmware for pc
