A 1:1 recreation of the entire universe in Minecraft is still a couple years away but there's no denying it is inevitable.
that might take a planet sized quantum computer to render or take millennia to build by hand
im pretty sure earth exists, not sure about everything else though
@@kapix4023 1:1 scale recreation of Earth is still being built, but massive chunks of it is done
to say that the universe expand each second it would be impossible
@@fotiias which country's have been completed?
Building isn't the hard part, It's staying consistent and motivated that's hard
nah i think both are pretty hard lmfao
Exactly
ADHD moment
After a while, the placing of blocks gets repetitive, especially if you've already planned out your build. Therefore, you wouldn't have spent much brain power focused on anything but the placing of blocks.
@@S6_043 Late reply but I agree, not only do you have to be motivated and do the same routine of building but you also have to actually have the talent/skill of building, in a way I treat building as writing or drawing, you need to practice if you're not good at it otherwise you will need to do it over and over again to be good at it.
creating a game inside a game is probably the biggest flex

@@patootie3529 roblox is a platform/game engine, the places are games made using the game engine, not games made inside a game

To this day I still think that's a flex in 2024
I'm surprised you didn't mention the 1:1 earth project. I mean it's not finished but they have whole cities completed already and all of Antarctica is finished.
As a BTE builder, that's actually a bit of a misnomer - no cities are fully complete, and all of the *buildings* in Antarctica are done, just not the terrain.
Im afraid the BTE project can NOT build the earth. As the earth is constantly changing meaning the data will be inconsitent and some errors will be made
@@It_Was_Taken Well, one can build the Earth at a certain point in time. So in a sense it would be 1:1, but some things would be obsolete compared to y'know, times changing.
You think Denmark will be rebuilt?
@@It_Was_Taken The BTE project is building the earth at a certain point in time
Props to all the creator of the mega builds, they deserve a massive shout out for their great effort :)

Can't help but smile every time I see that Enterprise, I remember seeing it when I was young and being mind blown that someone made it. Remember exploring it on a server with dozens of Star Trek ship recreations.
Thanks for that :)
@@halnicholas Hey Halkun! Im muffin on Trekcraft lol
I've always wanted to explore it ;( I just remember seeing videos about it
The Enterprise was the very first Mega-Build I've come across. Back then was still discovering Minecraft. Everything I've seen so far were some medium-sized mountain bases, tree houses or small villages that we've built. Everything very... contained into a graspable area, you know.
And then came the video of this... THING. I couldn't even grasp at first how large that is what I'm looking at. That was the first time that I saw how large people are willing to go.
Oh, I remember it...through that I also found a recreated New Orleans class starship which I exported to cinema 4D to create a warp jump animation.
It was crude, but beautiful to me.
Unfortunately, the files are long lost to me.
4:45 truly a American moment
Yea as a very patriot american that was fucked up bruh I thought their idea was sick
@@SmokedUpMageThere's always going to be someone that wants to hurt you for no reason other than amusement. Poor Denmark 😢 I thought that was a really neat world.

Hi - Trekcraft Builder here. Just wanted to add to your section on Halkun's Enterprise. A few inaccuracies. First off, Halkun was not the sole builder of the finished product. He had quite a large team assisting him, and he gradually lost interest and went on to do various other 3D CAD projects, which you can see on his youtube channel. After Halkun left, the team remained, and we are still going today.
Not only was this iteration of the Enterprise-D completed, but another one was, and 2 more are currently under construction. There are hundreds of builds on the server and if you have any interest in Megabuilds, you should definitely check it out! The history of that server needs a video of its own to be honest...
You can't expect accurate facts when the uploader claims "only five unique blocks were used" when the hotbar is full.
@@StarHorder I think that was default at the time in the game, but yes certainly in the finished build FAR more blocks were used haha. There are currently 3 iterations of the enterprise D being built on the server, all at various different scales and all based off of various deck plans. I recommend checking it out and talking to the team if you want an accurate history on the builds.

The USS Enterprise D build was just mind blowing at the time. It still is. Thankyou for putting it in the Thumbnail.

Thanks for the mention! There are some incredible projects out there and I’m in awe of what this community creates
Me too mate. Jaw dropping would be a good description on the more modern Mega Builds
Did you make one of the builds in this video?
I gotta say the ad for this video is insanely smart. Intermixing a build video with a sort of combination for what’s being advertised, then making the MC gameplay actually play into the gameplay of the game being advertised. Well done.
Bro the Americans almost started a Minecraft war 💀
There is something so nostalgic and epic in the 2010's enterprise that personaly it still gives me goosebumps today and is one of the most iconic builds ever. Good job on the video and thanks for nostalgia and for featuring the piston :).
Yah we currently working on a 4th
Minecraft is the reason I didn't lose the faith in humanity's creativity and genius
This is just amazing what they did, how much work and calculating it must've take
Definitely should have had Wynncraft on here. Not only do they have crazy megabuilds but they also created a whole mmorpg around it as well.
you should make this video on the history of mc prisons like pandoras vault and stuff

I'm surprised the Lord of the Rings server isn't on here. they've got some of the greatest builds I've ever seen
I love seeing older minecraft maps because a small hobby of mine is essentially upgrading them to modern-day Minecraft resources -- one of my favourites is Adamantis atm :)
No joke, I believe this guy is gonna be the MrBeast of Minecraft
i think sethbling's megablocks series deserves a mention because he managed to make an entire 16:1 piston before there were any command blocks or slime blocks. old minecraft is insane
Imagine having the planning capability/time management skills to dedicate yourself like this. Props to the builders, wouldn’t be Minecraft without them^^

Not mentioning the El Castillo Temple build is insane
I don't understand how the startrek ship was even possible, but it's so amazing. Also that 4:08 mario song made me happy for some reasons.
Things like this have inspired me to start trying to replicate my alien worldbuilding project in minecraft lol. So far it’s been really hard though.

What America did to Denmark, is probably the most American thing they could’ve done.
The minecraft history just looking so good, since they're practically call mega-builds but it should be a massive effort.
The griefers that nuked Denmark's 1-to-1 build are the reason we can't have nice things.
4:32 I feel horrible as an American, that we create an entire re-creation of a country in Minecraft and just build a bunch of American flags. I’ve joked to myself that we have had a big ego and I can see it now.
Same. They had the patience to ruin a world containing a whole country. It really makes us all look super petty because of what a few americans did

The Enterprise build wasn't done by hand, the original creator had a basic wire frame model he created in SketchUp, and he found a way to export the data into Minecraft.
Nowadays we import the entire hull from an OBJ file and work from there going down a deck at a time.

Another interesting fact about the enterprise megabuild. Creative didn't have flying back then. The framework and shape were build block for block just by hand
I remember back in 2012 I went to karate and I had a shy friend named Christian Grupp and he has photogenic memory and no lie we would sit on his tablet building stuff all the time and one time on the bus we all wanted to see what he had built becuase he showed some of his drawing from school ( they were sureal) once he showed us the world it was an entire city being built it was a 1:1 scale of irl and every huilding had furniture and everything, great dude very friendly

I don't think one can talk about humungous achievements in Survival Minecraft without at least giving a mention to Hermitcraft, a server where basically every base of every member is an unbelievably impressive feat that would be very hard to make even in Creative mode, not to even mention the insane feats of engineering such as Tango's Decked Out, which is an entire dungeon crawling game built in survival Minecraft.
I have so many memories of the Xbox 360 tutorial world, with the giant wool Minecraft sign, and that small bowl you spawned in before going into the castle. I played that for years before getting my first update when I started on PC.
