Calling this "AI generated" is really funny. I feel like a more accurate description is "what if I took several generic sentences an AI outputted and spent days building something insanely cool" EDIT: since this has so many likes now, to be clear-this is meant as a compliment. I intended to humorously comment on the fact that shovel was giving a whole lot of credit to ChatGPT for the enormous amount of work he put into building these awesome biomes. It's arguably slightly clickbait, but very minor compared to the medium UA-cam video these days.
@@shovel241 I'm just teasing a little-reasonable to use titles that get clicks, it just seems funny to choose a title that takes so little credit for so much work.
Technically its AI prompted, not AI generated. You give yourself way too little credit with that title, this is awesome. And its made by YOU, not the AI. That just gave you the ideas
This is how I like AI to be used: a tool and instrument, not the player. Channels like yours and There I Ruined It, that not only accept and disclose when they use AI, but show how it can benefit without being a means to kill all artists is wonderful.
Ai would be great as a tool but people treat it like a substitute for work instead. It’s honestly borning. Plus, the fact that AI uses information it gets from work without the consent of the person who made the original content fails it immediately. I would love to make an AI tool myself. Using work from people who offer it and use it as a learning tool instead. It’s great for me since I’m not good at clothing design yet so it helps me fill in the details by giving me ideas. People who claim that they “made AI art” are like claiming that they made food that they ordered. AI has so much potential but people just had to ruin it over.
As an artist myself, THIS IS HOW AI SHOULD BE USED! To generate ideas and inspiration rather than making images or stories, we should get inspired by the bare bones ideas that AI gives us and we as artists should expand upon those ideas
Exactly, AI is a tool it shouldn’t be used as a final product 😅 You use it for ideas or to enhance something (like ai that adds effects to something or sharpens it up a bit or whatever), not to cut out the human beings and release an AI only product
The crystal caves looks like a hidden area in the world where dragons/wyverns live in peace due to the crystals magical healing properties and the crystals are big enough for all to share without having to fight over them. ------ This also looks like a place that would be perfect for those who would use the play as a dragon mod on, if I had my hands on that biome I’d add a few big trees and flower fields to add a bit of life into that biome.
Some people are going to think I'm exaggerating but i genuinely think the pacing and editing on these videos is some of the best I've seen, especially for this style. I love the little tangents and stories of learning new tools and stuff
tbh it is giving these 2014 Minecraft Music Videos that started with plot or generally the short movies people did back then, but with a modern and new vibe too it as well as with other productive content instead of story only Also it feels like a documentary or a show about irl builders and architects, you could easily see them all as humans (like ingame obvs) that are working on something abstract. Obviously you gotta change the builds to more humanly possible in ur brain, but its about the vibe soooo
I love that shovel uses AI the way it should be used (sucks it's ChatGPT cuz the mofo emites crazy amounts of CO2 to run but we can't win them all). THIS is what we should be using AI for, inspiration, references, as a tool not a substitute. Different builders would've done different builds with the same prompt (hey, idea fo a video!) and that's what makes it art. Build 1: Very cool, would prefer it to have more little volcanos around not just a big one, I see how it could be implemented in vanilla but also.. it's too vanilla? If it makes sense? 6.5/10 Build 2: Gorgeous, stunning. Specially as a new dimension? In the air??? The sky is currently 100% free real estate in minecraft, there is NOTHING going on there in vanilla. I love builds that see what minecraft lacks and build on it and show the possibilities, builds that show what COULD be. The possibilities alone give it a 10/10 Build 3: Ngl could've been better..? Sorry. The caves are amazing, I love the "opposite of the Deep Dark" comparison, I agree. We need another Lush Cave type cave system that isn't just green on green on brown on yellow. But the top? ...meh? I think it's too obvious? I would've prefer if the crystals were more inconspícuos so the caves felt like a treat? Like uncovering a rare find? Almost like a reward for paying attention? 8/10 Build 4: Love that you gave the whole archaeology update an actual reason for me to even care about it, cuz rn it's pretty underwhelming, the Sniffer isn't cool enough for me to walk around brushing sand. This biome would definitely encourage it, specially if you got cool little fossils out of it. Other than that, love the mountain shape and the bones. I think I'd have liked to see it in the Nether tho? Idk, maybe it's the fossils, but i feel like this should be a nether biome 7/10 Build 5: No notes 10/10 I see myself building in it, exploring it for hours, dying cuz i forget i need to breathe. I would go through DAYS of grind just to get a water helmet so i can go on infinite swims around this bad boy. Just thinking about all the glowing fishes leaves me excited. The ocean needs a goddamn update cuz rn other than the monument and the reef that thing is BORING 10/10 i would give it 11/10 if i could. This is my comment 20/10 dowloading it as we speak
I'm in love with both the builds and the way we have little animated stories scattered within the video like the hallucinogenic mushroom one. Love everything you do and keep up the good work bro
Idea for the sunken farlands lore: A group of desperate people and researchers who were unable to fight back due to their lack of magic in hard times traveled for years before discovering the underwater farlands. With the large life and unnatural terrain, they set up base to study. Living there for long periods of time, they formed a relationship where they would treat the life there as equals. They took care of the land oblivious to thr fact it to was alive. They created air tight bases that harness energy from powerfull currents and use atmospheric pressure forced with surface tension to create bubble enclosures to live their everyday life. Oblivious to the many ending and beginnings of wars on the surface, they enjoyed their paradise. They lived in harmony before a dirty underwater pirate from a previous nabouring nation who had snuk in to follow them started to abuse the resources and life the people kept so sacred. Using his original nations sorcery, he let out a signal. The invasion was too much for the people to handle and the enemey nation started destroying the beautiful thriving ecosystem. Despite this all, the people had grown a powerfull connection with the already established life and in an act of friendship, the corrupted landscapes and thriving fish came together to destroy the peoples enemies but creating a powerfull circular vortex current that swept the evil nation away. In time, around half of the popultion evolved into hybrids who could breath underwater as well as camouflage. While they do have the technology for weapons, the prefere to use it on forming relations and better livelihood for the future people.
Random lore idea. It would be interesting if there was some sort of mythical city established by powerful mages to contain a dark entity. Heralds selected by an order guard the cell of the entity, ensuring the creature does not escape. These mages use the creature to collect magic that powers their arcane metropolises and makes the order one of the strongest organisations in Etheria. The city is hidden from the naked eye though, only accessible through the northern auroras.

Hey I was wondering if you would do a video where WE are the AI (so basicly you pick some prompts from your community and do the same) If you do here would be my prompt : "The fisherman island : Long ago there were a very commun species of giant fishes that lived and traveled in school across the lands, these fishes had the strange particularity of turning into a very light kind of stone soon after their death, which leads to very strange terrains full of stoned giant fishes. Immaculate execution shovel!
lore idea: there's a city built inside the rim of a giant volcano, powered by the geothermal vents and extreme heat. sorcerers use fire spells that are harnessed from the insides of the earth, which protect the city
15:41 id recommend for realism purposes making the skeleton a lot more textured and rockier because fossils are not bone, they are just rock. and you could try to position the skeleton in a more natural dead position, it can make the build a lot more realistic if you add the position the Trex died in :)
Truly incredible ! The biomes feels so alive, like almost a modded terrain generation ! Can't wait to see the mobs added to these beautiful builds ! Continue like this, you're an amazing builder !
This is what ai should be used for, to generate interesting concepts followed through by the unique human touch. I could not even fathom someone even putting this much time and effort into a minecraft build, truly inspiring, bravo.
All epic builds and all the ideas are implemented very well. I think you could have done a little better with the Crystal Cave, but I still think these are all amazing.
LORE IDEA: The Face-Changers The Face-Changers are a mysterious group of entities that live in a secluded village at the top of a windswept mesa. They deal different faces, bodies, and even pasts and histories for those willing to pay a lot. Their most common customers are wealthy nobles who like to change their looks every few months, but they also serve spies and assassins in need of a perfect disguise, people fleeing an arranged marriage, and anyone else who needs to change their identity. They feed off the averted pain and misery you would have experienced if you had not changed your appearance and identity, so those in most need are required to pay less, while the wealthy nobles are their main source of income for their alchemical and arcane supplies.
Even though i am a little late since the video was published I am just amazed by how much you got better recently and wanted to congratulate you for that. I especially see that since I wasn't able to watch UA-cam for a long time and i also find it great that now that you have build so much things, you can just re-use multiple things you build in the past. All of that to say: keep it up!
The volcano island would've been cool with a black/dark grey palliate instead of dirt imo, like basalt/blackstone/deepslate combination, like how they are irl. Also would make sense logically that deepslate would be pushed up from below from volcanic activity - just n added bonus.
15:10 don't forget to change you selection type Davdi * thanks for reminding, David * no problem Davdi (=* everything's fine* Shovel: I didn't even say anything Shovel: crazyyyy

Shovel241 and his buddies are true masters, proving that with creativity and teamwork come extraordinary results. Their creations capture the essence of turning ideas into reality, showing that with just simple blocks, they can build entire worlds.
This is insane work!!! Spending hours and hours to finish just one of the builds then turning it all in such a beautiful video!!!! I love this channel !!!!!
LORE IDEA If there really is a fossile biome, the giant one was a big and strong creature, one of the strongest thing in the Etheria. Ancient humans did kill it, and they got lot honor. They made a civilization next to the giant fossil.
Lore idea for the wilderness of etheria; in the middle of a dense dark forest bordering the wraithan swamp in a biome thats a mix of jagged cliffs similar to the far lands and an old growth forest with a sprawling river that people who aren't born in the wolveronic forest (name of this place) will have to trudge through in order to navigate, the native people are distant relatives of half human half dragons who have evolved to incorporate wolf dna in addition to dragon dna into their genetic makeup as well as dna from a specific tree, the forest itself has 1500 species of individual unique trees exclusive to the region, each tree holds specific magic with unique runes tied to each form of magic, crystal vines coat the bark, and crystal moss blankets the ground that can mix certain magics from the trees together if used correctly, the indigineous people are known as wolverons, the wolverons are the new kids on the block in etheria because they recently emerged from a cave, due to the sheer variety of wolverons due to their appearance and capabilities being dependent upon what tree they incorporate the dna of at birth, their architecture is meant to be built via the mash-up technique, the wolverons are a youthful civilization and prefer to stay in their home of the wolveronic forest, the alphas try to overtake them due to their power, but the sheer amount of dangers big, small, fiercesome and bizarre, these attempts are thwarted solely by the environment, with one danger being the wolveros; half wolf half dragon hybrids that have magic from all the trees in the forest, though to keep their powers stable they constantly feed on the crystal moss that blankets the ground, another danger is the bramble spiders; massive spider like creatures that only move during their early life, once they find a place to settle, they lose the ability to move and will use long tendrils to snatch prey out of the air in order to reach immense sizes, due to being made of plants they can be entered like a structure, with the largest bramble spider inhabiting the cliffs known as "mother toge (the japanese word for thorn)", the wraithans leave the wolverons alone due to the dangerous disease at the bottom of the river, the agonic thorn plague; a disease that can infect any being regardless of mortality but the mortality of a being is a strange factor to the disease, the mortality of the infected being will limit the amount of time it will take for the disease to take effect, with immortals like the wraithans it takes 1000000 years for the disease to fully take its toll, but what makes it dangerous is that it doesn't kill its host, it instead turns them into a monster similar to the green flu from left 4 dead turning people into zombies, the infected will grow dangerous thorned vines from their bones and eventually they become immobile skyward spires of thorns that can infect other creatures, few can ever hold their breath long enough to reach the bottom of the river which is coated in thorned vines that emerge from the river source; the mountain's silent heart, an underground lake beneath the tallest cliff of the single mountain within the forest which is full of purifying magic, but at the bottom below in a turlough style secondary lake is the heart of kurushimi (japanese word for suffering) where the agonic thorn plague originated, a heart like culmination of thorns and flesh that draws nutrients from the diseases the water in the mountain's silent heart above purges from those who bathe in the water, i've noticed every build you've done thus far is industrialized in some capacity, but the wolverons live in the environment itself, using their magic to sculpt the environment as if it were clay to make their homes on all layers of the forest except above the canopy, a more ecopunk theme with an eternal twilight setting due to the thickness of the canopy allowing very little sunlight to get through but just enough to allow plants to photosynthesize, the single mountain known as mount chinmoku (japanese word for silence) is at the very center of the wolveronic forest, i also noticed that you're focused on whats within the center of the regions lore wise and haven't given much lore to the borders between regions so i figured why not make a region within the border between two different regions? Feel free to add your own lore if you decide to make this your next video
I absolutely loved your video, random suggestion I think all of these could work in your fantasy Minecraft map as forgotten locations or as another continent in general, just my stupid suggestion, absolutely love your videos
Yoo, this is so cool. You should make a Minecraft game with all these biomes and make the creatures too. It would be a great idea. The other biomes that should be added should be: The Laboratory and The Destroyed Empire. You can make your own creatures, and add very cool shaders. Including items!
Bacteria existed way before any plants. It was the lack of anything capable of breaking down the cellular walls easily that allowed coal and petrified wood to form.

I feel like the wales should have either less trees or smaller trees. After all they're up in the clouds where there's less oxygen and higher winds, large trees would have a hard time
man don't you think there's another way to make these kinds of biomes than upscaling everything to the point that the voxel style looks like an afterthought? you're so talented, and i'm sure just building massive stuff is a great way to get a good thumbnail. but i would be so much more interested if these biomes were… yknow, close to the actual minecraft scale. that seems like a much more interesting challenge at that point

15:41 id recommend for realism purposes making the skeleton a lot more textured and rockier because fossils are not bone, they are just rock. and you could try to position the skeleton in a more natural dead position, it can make the build a lot more realistic if you add the position the Trex died in :)
You know it's a good day when a new shovel241 video comes out
Truly incredible !
The biomes feels so alive, like almost a modded terrain generation !
Can't wait to see the mobs added to these beautiful builds !
Continue like this, you're an amazing builder !
the intro saying the biome was made by AI is doing a disservice to all the hour that was spent into realizing the sentences said by the AI
Shovel makes some of the most high quality videos on UA-cam. Keep up the good work,
LORE IDEA: The Face-Changers
The Face-Changers are a mysterious group of entities that live in a secluded village at the top of a windswept mesa.
Man, your builds just get progressively even better and better

Shovel: I didn't even say anything
Shovel: crazyyyy
The animation, the comedy, chemistry, and everything about this video is amazing.Good job.
15:32 the wither. It has 3 wither skulls as heads and is only bone making it calcify as a skeleton
The axium training montage is cracking me up lol 😂
I love all your builds Shovel!! Keep up the awesome work!! 👍
21:27 this music unlocked a memory for me
This is really awesome. Would you ever consider turning some of these maps/locations/mobs etc into a sort of modpack for people to play in survival?
How is it that every video just gets better and better..
shovel you literally never miss, I genuinely jump for joy at every post, im so excited for the next one
This is the first time I've seen a Minecraft UA-camr undertake such a large project without complaining about the time it's taking to pressure viewers into subscribing the channel 😂
The skill of building anything in Minecraft using only cubes is nothing short of impressive. Shovel241 and his buddies are true masters, proving that with creativity and teamwork come extraordinary results. Their creations capture the essence of turning ideas into reality, showing that with just simple blocks, they can build entire worlds.
You should absolutely make a datapack/mod with all the biomes that you've made, it would be amazing !!!❤
He did, as long as your willing to get a patreon
This is insane work!!! Spending hours and hours to finish just one of the builds then turning it all in such a beautiful video!!!! I love this channel !!!!!
LORE IDEA
If there really is a fossile biome, the giant one was a big and strong creature, one of the strongest thing in the Etheria. Ancient humans did kill it, and they got lot honor. They made a civilization next to the giant fossil.
cough cough “the owl house” cough
11:36-are we forgetting that this guy was tripping stars after he ate the mushroom or are we choosing to ignore it?!
It would be amazing to have these as incredibly rare Biomes in a mod like Oh The Biomes You've Gone.

I absolutely loved your video, random suggestion I think all of these could work in your fantasy Minecraft map as forgotten locations or as another continent in general, just my stupid suggestion, absolutely love your videos

Idk if someone has said this already, but with axiom, you can literally pin cameras in specific locations. That additional alt account isn’t necessary
23:08 that joke was so funny it made my dog laugh
Yoo, this is so cool. You should make a Minecraft game with all these biomes and make the creatures too. It would be a great idea. The other biomes that should be added should be: The Laboratory and The Destroyed Empire. You can make your own creatures, and add very cool shaders. Including items!
16:23 that’s also the reason why coal exists
Bacteria existed way before any plants. It was the lack of anything capable of breaking down the cellular walls easily that allowed coal and petrified wood to form.
@ yes i do know that,
and it’s specifically lignin in the cells
The content, edits, and everything is so on point. U gained a new subscriber. Well done!

and the fact that the wither exists
@@joshuabrown2337:o your right the wither is a skeleton boss
those whales are absolutely amazing and feel like somethink you'd be able to build even in survival
Take notes Mojang
Making a map is one thing and coding it to generate automatically in world without lag is different thing
All of these are really cool but none of them world fit in vanilla
I'm so impressed with this video omg minecraft video content is so high effort now?? Like the camera angles and cutscene animations too
I feel like the wales should have either less trees or smaller trees. After all they're up in the clouds where there's less oxygen and higher winds, large trees would have a hard time
Really love all of these designs! Would love to see tutorials with mods included to attempt to create my own megastructures/terrain
13:38 Basically green screen armor
Loved the editing in this one. Not too much, just right! Also loved the silly little character interactions ❤❤

man don't you think there's another way to make these kinds of biomes than upscaling everything to the point that the voxel style looks like an afterthought? you're so talented, and i'm sure just building massive stuff is a great way to get a good thumbnail. but i would be so much more interested if these biomes were… yknow, close to the actual minecraft scale. that seems like a much more interesting challenge at that point
