I know I’m a little late, but I still miss techno the same way I did when he died (a lot). The memorials made me happy to see how much people actually cared about him and how much of an impact he had. R.I.P Techno🕊️
It's not a big surprise that the pros won the quality builds -- they are stunning -- but the other's work was also of tremendous quality, and the cooperation between them is truly wonderful. Props all 'round for the work. I hope we'll see more of the work the members in the larger groups create. There is a lot of potential there.

Of course 50 players are gonna beat 10 players in PvP when they're all given the best sword/armour in the game and forced into a tiny arena - the noobs can just spam them. It would have been much more interesting to put them in a hunger games style arena, where they actually have chance to upgrade their equipment and then plan attacks

I was thinking, give em all shields and other weapons, so the pros could actually strategize. Maybe do some sorta sparta shit
It would have been more balanced if the "noob" team got to choose between themselves which challenge they wanted to do, decreasing the skill gap considerably, since many of the challenges like redstone had more skill baselines than oppotunities for higher production.

Quinten is objectively better, his build for this video wasn't great by his standards however. Grian is definitely a awesome builder and youtuber though
The biggest factor your average builder doesn't take into account in just about any sandbox building game is the landscape. You don't want to force a creation onto a plot of land you sort of want to landscape to be influencing your build. Makes it much more natural, realistic and creative.

It's nice to see how the casual players just have more personality in all their creations. They don't care nearly as much to be amazing at what they do, and do it out of passion. The random weird things they do such as the boat tower also solidifies their collective weirdness.
Quality over quantity as I always say which is why I'm not surprised that "almost" all the pros won. Amazing job everyone! 😊

How much time did you have to make it? My guess is that - 6 hours sleep and 1 hour on the pot per day. Eating can be done at the comp.
I loved how the players just decided to paste a 1hz redstone computer after committing multiple counts of animal abuse lol and btw this video was amazing to see the builds they built and it just an great and awesome experience lol (Not to mention the pvp round to the very end was just the assassination of Julius Caesar all over again if you know you know) 😅

the normal players deserved the civilization one way more than the experts, the experts had a way luckier start and terrain, and even then from the normal player's base you can tell it's an actual civilization, while what the experts had built might have well just have been someone's solo hardcore world.

Completely agree with your decision. If I were to choose among those, I'd always go for quality.
The main issue with the quantity team was definitely uniformity and theme. The designs, while creative and had a lot of personal touches it often ended up either cluttered or things would end up out of place and distracting.
