Great vid tecmotion , would love a quarter window repair vid on a vert would be awesome Iam sure others would appreciate. Any word on future mail order tunes available I am waiting for my car to be tuned by tecmotion thank you.
I have some loose hatch quarter windows, one of which is good and one looks restorable, so I am going to take a crack at that for the 93 project. I have already consulted with my favorite body man and acquired some specific products to help with that job, so I will get that on film and if I think I did a good job on it, I will release it. I don't have a current solution for the sudden supply drought of chips right now, so unfortunately any chips that are going out the door from my limited inventory are at the full dyno tune price and with the assumption that the customers will use them to get the car started then actually show up to take me up on the dyno tune. I am readying a Tecmotion designed and manufactured plastic part to provide a good mounting solution for the screen on Holley systems in these cars though and am moving towards a beta program announcement for that part shortly.
Thank you for the .045 gap on 91 octane this car runs so responsive best ever for a stock mustang, I found a tuning chip from an 88 could you put a tune on it if I mailed and payed you for. I want my stock fox running its best thanks
I did my sunroof about 8 months ago and its alot harder than it seemed, i couldn't change the metal harware on the glass itself becouse i couldn't get the large phillips screws broke loose
You can buy almost every part for the sunroof except the glass and frame apparently. You might have to resort to a wrecker or part out guy for a new frame/glass assembly, and if you get one with just superficial problems like this one had you can restore it this way.
@@tecmotiondyno I just bought the car. So I’m doing some more research on it now. Wanted to change out the gaskets and hardware. I sure hope not cause that can be a real pita
@@meangreen360 sure can. I had a topaz in the 80’s which I put an aftermarket sunroof in and it was a style where the glass could be popped out but there was no frame around it and the frame and seal for the sunroof stayed with the car. Yours sounds a lot like that.
Excelente trabajo
Gracias per ver este video!

This is where I am going to run into problems. Mine was not factory installed.
You are on your own with that kind of thing, so some of this procedure might be generally helpful.

Call me at the shop next week and we can discuss it. Depending on the chip you have, I may be able to help.
I was hoping you would show how to clean the drains
I love it
Yeah, it turned out really well. Thanks for watching!
Are there replacement parts available for the plastic part of the tabs and for the handle?
Yes, it looks like LMR carry a complete hardware kit for the sunroof.

I didn't try that hardware. The way this car looked, I was expecting it to be a lot more problematic than it was to be honest.
My sunroof does not sit flush in the rear, it is too low. Is there any adjustment on these sunroofs so I can make it flush?
@chriscaraway5089 Shims under the latch maybe?
Maybe, I need to take a look. I have seen there is an adjustment on the front side where the tabs go into the roof, but nothing on the latch side.
My sunroof frame is totally rotted out. Around the glass not the car. Not sure what to do.

Is this a factory installed sunroof? I thought factory sunroofs the frames couldn’t be removed?
This is a factory sunroof. I did not remove the frame but instead masked it for the sand and repaint.
Ah ok. I ask because the one in my 91 coupe looks different. The metal frame stays on my roof. Just the glass and rubber comes off the roof
@@meangreen360 that sounds like an aftermarket roof to me.
