Honestly, Atlanta just doesn't have good BBQ. The best place we had was Greater Good BBQ, but it closed last year. The next best is Fat Matt's which is still open. Honorable mention to Das BBQ if you like that super basic Texas style.

If you go to a BBQ place, you have to go on Fri (in the evening) or Sat/Sun, because they are making it fresh those days. If you go on a weekday, it's probably slower, so you're eating meat cooked 1-3 days ago.

I told you to go downtown Atlanta to the Ritz hotel. That hotel food is off the chain. I have not found a restaurant that can compare to that food in the hotel since I've moved to Georgia. Whoever that chef is he needs his own TV show.
As someone who was born and raised in Atlanta. I cuurently reside in the bay area. I would say best BBQ is made in Back yards. I do not recall as a child ever going to any place for BBQ. It was always grilled at home or in a backyard. The only state Ive heard that is BBQ savy as in buying is texas. But good luck on the search.

I agree with this rating...my family and I went to Fox Bros before and thought the same. The Barbeque was mid at best. Honestly the best barbeque in the south is at my grand-parents house. My Big Homie (grand-daddy) ribs are so flavorful and delicious. That's why almost no barbeque restaurant in Atlanta taste that goid to me, cause my grand-parents out did them all
Fox bros is good but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for sure. You definitely need to come back to Ga and try some other BBQ places. My friend Bryan Furman is about to open his place soon.

No credibility when it comes to barbecue if you don't like brisket. Not saying this is the place to get good brisket, you have the lean part of the brisket and the fatty part. You kept mentioning fat, you can get different cuts of the brisket. Go to Texas if you want get brisket, they do it right and I live in Georiga. Don't compare LA barbecue to good barbecue in the southeast and southwest, you just went to the wrong place or caught them on a bad day. Brisket is difficult to cook it's not like throwing a rack of ribs on the grill, there is a lot of technique involved.
Whenever meat is dry then that mean they cooked a long time without maintaining the juices in the meat by keeping it wet. When you cook it for so long you gotta maintain the moisture so the inside the meat dont dry out.
Who doesn't like a good lean and fatty piece of good seasoned beef brisket? Lol. If you call yourself a meat eater then you have to like it. Big restaurants though that never run out of meat and stay open all day to the night will never have the best bbq. I only go to bbq places in my city with long lines that run out of bbq daily.

Bro, in my opinion, you can’t really give a honest opinion on how the food taste because you throw sauce on the food before you even try it. I understand that that may be the way you like to eat your food but when giving reviews, it may be helpful if you just take a bite or two without the sauce and then tell us how the food taste that way. Because we all know a good sauce can carry some bad food.

I'm from Georgia and Unfortunately, i haven't had great BBQ anywhere yet. Daddy D's used to be good just haven't been there in a long while. Kansas City BBQ has been the best I've had compared to Memphis, Texas, and North Carolina... respectfully

No credibility when it comes to barbecue if you don't like brisket. Not saying this is the place to get good brisket, you have the lean part of the brisket and the fatty part. You kept mentioning fat, you can get different cuts of the brisket. Go to Texas if you want get brisket, they do it right and I live in Georiga. Don't compare LA barbecue to good barbecue in the southeast and southwest, you just went to the wrong place or caught them on a bad day. Brisket is difficult to cook it's not like throwing a rack of ribs on the grill, there is a lot of technique involved.

Whenever meat is dry then that mean they cooked a long time without maintaining the juices in the meat by keeping it wet. When you cook it for so long you gotta maintain the moisture so the inside the meat dont dry out.
Who doesn't like a good lean and fatty piece of good seasoned beef brisket? Lol. If you call yourself a meat eater then you have to like it. Big restaurants though that never run out of meat and stay open all day to the night will never have the best bbq. I only go to bbq places in my city with long lines that run out of bbq daily.
