Quickly becoming my new favorite channel!! Awesome stuff guys!!
Appreciate it
Always love the dog hunt gear and training tips. Starting training with my dog in a month!
Thanks. Good luck!
Those field bully blinds are awesome. I just strap mine onto my layout. So easy to move.
Agreed
Great load out for Rocky. To me it is satisfying to train your own dog instead of taking him to a trainer. Great vid👍👍👍
Thanks
Great video!! Rocky is a beast!!👍
First off, keep up the great work! Secondly, after a couple years of use, how you liking the elevated dog blind? About to push the Complete Order button on the same one. I have a black lab myself that weighs 70#. Thanks dude, and again, love your content!
Thanks! I still use and like it
Shared your videos with My son in which is a duck hunter and has a baby standard poodle he is working with for hunting.
Thanks! That’s awesome
Try Dogtra for your next e-collar, it has over 100 levels so you’re able to really use subtle levels that my dog responds to and I can’t even feel. The issue I’ve had with those are they go from 0 to 60 too fast and you end up having to work with unnecessarily high levels.
Very good video will consider some products!
Great dog stand I love it!
For sure! Glad I got test yours out
Browning food dish looks handy great idea
I love it
www.amazon.com/Browning-Portable-Dual-Dish-Camouflage/dp/B01DEAVO4S
I replaced the bolts with cotter pins on the invisilab stand that way I can take those bars off. Real easy to do
Great idea
Im 13 and i gat choclate lab buck hes a pretty well trained hes 7 month i started training him when i was 12 just from watching ur vids
I have watched alot of your videos I know a professional trainer but im gonna train mine by myself starting in a month and a half
Good luck!
Thanks for the details on that momarsh invisilab dog blind. I was hoping to use it for numerous purposes, as a pickup entry, as a platform, a portable dog bed, and an enclosure for hunting. You answered numerous questions I had about the product and explained it well! I can do all four I think based on your explanation. I wish those vertical supports would remove to create a true platform, but I think it will fit my needs as a versatile product.
Ya that would be nice if supports could be removed, I’ve said that before
@@MidValleyMercenaries I totally overlooked that rig em right dog blind because I didn't think my dog would fit. Like you, I have a big lab (he's already 80 pounds at 8 months old and not fat) and I need something light and portable that I can carry with me. We are hunting public lands where we have to hike in just to get to a hunting spot. If your able to get your 95 pounder in there, that should also work for my chocolate lab. Thanks again for all the detailed info. I think we are also going to pick up that browning dog food bag that zips closed. Really like the concept on that.
You can remove them. Will require you to remove the bolts. Just don't lose them. I do it all the time.
I use my momarsh one like you got for both dry field and water
Ya I’ve done that as well
Try Inukshuk dog food helps labs shed less. It's expensive food, but it's well worth it. Eukanuba no Bueno. Caused my dogs to itch too much.
Old video, but i feed him half breakfast before and half after. I bring a little kibble but its only if its extra extra slow. That browning water bowl is legit. Ill get that. I got a golden, and he sheds so much itll clog our pet vaccum, its everywhere, all the time. Ill open all the windows on the freewy and it takes all the fur out
That long leash you got your dog on, attached to the tree. I was sending my dog on a retrieve I sent her without knowing it was around my leg and it a 100 ft long rope burn the ever living hell out of the back of my knee , 100 percent recommend short leash
This is a 30ft. Leash
Thank you sir
Hey im back after a year im 14 just gat my new golden lab my chocolate lab gat sick and passed sadly but im back watching ur vids again to start training
Sorry to hear about your loss. Happy to hear you got another one. Good luck!
I’m 15 and if you have 10-15 min a day to give them attention and train them right, they will come out good just stay consistent
Good vid
Thanks Chris
How do you do feeding times during the season? Surely he is on a schedule during the off season, how do you deal with feeding when you get out early? Never mind, I didn’t watch before I asked.
1 time a day at 5pm during offseason. Same during season if not hunting. If I’m hunting I feed him directly after hunt
Rocky Boy💙
If only I had a hunting dog.
Where do I find the playlist for all Rocky training videos

Why the switch from Purina Pro Plan to Eukanuba? Notice any major differences when you made the switch?
Because Chris Akin suggested and Eukanuba has Chondroitin and Glucosamine for the dogs joints. Still a 30/20 blend. Love it. Keeps them trim
Mid Valley Mercenaries good deal! I have a 6 month old chocolate. Has been on Purina Pro and have wondered if there was any big differences. Thanks for the reply and good videos!
Thanks!
Can you fold the momash down and use it for a ground blind ? Or use it for field hunts?
Ya I actually do that too. It’s a little unstable but not to the point of not being able to use it
@@MidValleyMercenaries cool thanks i just didnt want to buy two if i could get away with one .
It’s doable.
Where do you get your hats there badass I would love to buy some
Thanks!

I know it doesn't get too cold in California but what dog vest would you recommend?
Tanglefree makes a nice one. Avery makes a good one too. Look for one that has a zipper.
Rig em right vest in my opinion
I knew I was forgetting something. I have the Tanglefree vest for Rocky because he is so big and you can cut it out and they make all the way up to a 3XL
I just picked up a Rig’em Right Bloodline vest for my dog. Pretty excited to try it out this season.
👍🏼
Great video but dont got a dog😓😭
I solo hunt ducks up here in Alaska, just me and my lab...I like to keep it simple using 2 jet sleds. The lab sits behind me in his sled and I layout in my sled, I use my lips to whistle handle the lab: ua-cam.com/video/EjfoshZVfX0/v-deo.html
I like the lab behind me so he does not have hearing ruined by muzzle blast: ua-cam.com/video/-Ua_2JXiyvo/v-deo.html
What breed is your dog?
Lab
What kind of lab? British lab? English?
British and American. More British that’s why he’s so big
I’ve got a pure British lab and she’s is very small compared to your dog she’s 7 years old gonna retire he soon she is a senior hunter... gonna try to gone 1 more litter off of her and keep a male and female
You should look at gundogoutdoors.com because they have a lot of good stuff and it is stuff I use for my my dog.
Ya me and Alex are friends. Great guy and good company. He’s been on our podcast
What do you do for a living where you have a freaking helicopter?!?!?
I fly for our local air ambulance but I don’t own a helicopter
@@MidValleyMercenaries right on bro. Keep up the good work. I love your channel and the positivity. I'm out of Fresno CA so its really cool to see some local duck hunters hunting the same refuges we hunt. Just picking up my chocolate lab end of December from Dustin retrievers so will be following some of your training. Stay golden pony boy
