I was at this filming am pretty sure it was filmed in G2, the small Garage club down the lane next to the Garage club on Sauchiehall street. I remember Norman had a fish supper and a fritter that he left on his amp to keep warm during the set.
Glad I got to see them live before GL leaving. Being in the same band for 30 years has it's ups and downs....

Matt Borel He didn't want to spend so much time in airports to play in far off countries like Australia or Japan anymore, but didn't want to prevent the rest of the band from keeping on either, so he decided it was better for everyone if he left.
Really hard song to get right. I bet they practiced it to death. One of those songs where if a musician makes a mistake, it glares out and can throw everyone off. Easily the best song on Howdy.
One of my favourites from Howdy ❤
Gerald Love writes pop rock gems. I miss his songs when seeing them now.
Totally agree I miss Gerry :(
Saw them tour this in Liverpool. Absolute perfection. Miss you Gerry.
Another of Gerry's gems, with wire precision guitars and Norman's soaring harmony vocals.
Don't you just miss Gerry now.
Just gorgeous

The Bomb.

Agreed...one of their best. Check out 60s band The Association if you like the harmonies on this song.
Great stuff!
Perfection
Cardigan rock...

Doofus.
And what's wrong with that?
The drummer is double parked
Imagine they had a decent drummer
