Naps are so great! For me, they ease my feelings of being overwhelmed as I have 3 kids and work full time. It’s a lot to handle (mental load). Just an hour and a half alone is like a reset for me. Great advice
My therapist once said to me instead of calling it selfish, think of it as self-full. You’re giving yourself time and things to fill yourself up so that you can be your best self and so that you actually have enough in you to then give to others. You can’t give to others from an empty well.

I appreciate you Kackie and not sure if you know how much, you inspire me so much life and makeup in general. You actually remind me of why I love makeup so much in general and why I'm still so interested in concealer after blush after foundation (not all) but I'm a bit of a texture/formula freak, I have to be at my age and having lines moderately dry skin.

Your answer on the depression question, awesome. I’ve read all the books you mentioned and love B.Brown. As someone with a long standing TBI, I can’t take anything that drastically changes chemicals in the brain and use homeopathic alternatives. Omega 3s, pre and probiotics, 5htp, massages, dry needling, etc….also, grounding with your feet in grass…a big YES!

Hello! Please consider reviewing the Kulfi eyeliner. It is very similar to the VBB eyeliners in texture and wear. I actually apply it with a brush, because it is very soft, but on the dry down it wears amazingly.
Also please know you are not alone with health problems. I also struggle with autoimmune problems. Power on and don’t feel alone!

The eyes and skin-matching concealer really compliment that slight olive that you have to your skin tone and brown eyes. I am similar so I will try something like this tomorrow! With your health issues, I have that problem and it ended up being hyperplasia of my endometrial lining. Thankfully it is supposed to go away with the IUD I am getting soon! Good luck and hopefully if it does come back it is something easy to fix
I love the point about even good things becoming overwhelming. I have a small business making perfumes, which I love doing. I get overwhelmed with it all the time and I'll talk about it and get asked, "But don't you enjoy it?"
I adore it and it's such a passion project for me that fulfills a massive creative need for me, but that doesn't mean it doesn't get really overwhelming at times! Even though I love it, it can still be stressful to take a weekend off and have 30+ orders waiting on Monday. Especially when a bunch are for custom scents!
I'm trying to learn to allow myself time off and remind myself that self care is also productive because if I get burnt out, my work WILL really suffer. Taking time off and avoiding burnout is productive. If I'm burnt out, I can't give my 100%, especially when I'm working on creative things like custom scents for customers.

Loved the Gemini takes. My bestie is a Gemini and she also used to be my roommate. We were both teachers at the time, and when there was a snow day I immediately went back to sleep until like 11am. I would wake up she had already worked out, cleaned the whole apartment, meal prepped, graded papers, and reworked her lessons for the week lol
Also, I totally agree that she would do anything and give up anything for the people she loves. But I also would be terrified to be someone on her bad side 😂

On dual ended brushes- I don’t have many, but for me they’re okay. My collection is verrrryyyy curated compared to most UA-camrs. So I store my brushes in cosmetic bags. Well I have a gallon ziploc when they’re clean& when dirty they go to a cosmetic bag& when the bag is full I wash them. I hate washing brushes so I have more brushes than anything 😅😅 but ya if you like to use cosmetic bags or want limited curated brush options I think dual ended from like Sigma or Sephora would be good options.

I hope you get some answers to your health issues. I did have similar issues when I was 37 but it was basically me hitting early menopause, just as my mom did. I don't think putting yourself first is selfish. I think it is being kind to yourself and you're right! It's saying you're valuable and you deserve time! If you don't do that, who will? However, being a people-pleasure (I assume like the person who asked that question), I can totally understand how difficult it is to put your needs ahead of others.

Been in that boat…my longest bleed was 42 days. I had 3 days off and the. 31 days of bleeding. Lots of ultrasounds, lots of rounds of progesterone, and an iud after a tuba ligation to try to curb bleeding…. Unfortunately there wasn’t much to do. Agter 3 years, the iud was prob the best option. I don't know if you're going to buy it since you just purchased the Tula one but I hope our Queen of Skin Tints reviews the new Westman Atelier Complexion Drops ;) Also, very cool eye look! I wish Isamaya shipped to Spain. Maybe I could get the Byredo palette Metal Boots in the Snow which, if I'm not mistaken, was also designed my Isamaya and has a similar-ish colour story.

My daughter had a VERY LONGGG period after she COVID. After a bunch of tests they had no answer for her and blamed COVID. They put her on birth control (low dose) and it seems to have subsided. She was also bruising easily and felt weak. Thankfully it’s been a few months and no more bleeding and she seems ok. Very frustrating to not get an answer but thankfully she seems fine now.

You’ve probably already heard this from others, but there’s enough anecdotal correlation between COVID vaccines and menstrual disruption that it’s being studied. My period hasn’t been the same since I got my first jab. I say this as a pro-vax, pro-science person. I also wonder if there’s a link between the vax and the perioral dermatitis that has exploded everywhere - seriously, every woman I know has it for the first time, as do I. PD can be the result of hormonal changes, which is obviously what’s also happening when our periods go haywire. Again, not anti-vax, don’t regret getting the shot, i’m just paying attention to a potential connection. Best of luck!

I tried to reach out on IG but I don’t think those messages work I just wanted to let you know that I went through something similar last year! I had my period for an entire month then after that it went back to “normal” but now I’ll bleed 4 to 5 days stop and then it comes back for two or three days I thought this was just a fluke but it wasn’t and a year later I’ve had a bunch of test done and I kind of had to accept that this is just a fluctuation that can happen. Bc I’ve never heard anything like that before I really wanted answers and I kind of had to accept that there was no concrete answer for me in this case. Granted I may not have the best doctor so I don’t know if that is 100% final but I did have a biopsy (don’t recommend lol) and I feel kind of satisfied just knowing that I’ve checked the scariest things! I hope you are able to find more answers than I was and feel better ASAP!! 💗

Okay, I was in a serious car crash on 6/20, and since then, watching channels such as yours, HLP, Reagan Hart, Hooded Lid, Alex Anele, Isabella (in England,) Pammy Cosmetix, and others, have really taken a backseat. I still try now and then, but the interest hasn’t been there. My home improvement channel have been able to maintain a focus, such as Tokyo Llama, DIYfferent, The 2nd Empire Strikes Back. There are a lot of parallels between skin & cosmetics & home improvements beneath, restoration, and remodeling, so I’m not sure what about the trauma changed my focus.
Gods, hormonal stuff sucks. I’m 54, perimenopausal, and I tell folks it’s like some dark, reverse puberty. Hope you get some solid answers, and your body calms down in this regard.

Of a depression hole. I read a study recently that said he chemical in balance thing was bs. They had a lot of scientific reasons why, but I just want to say that for me it rang true because ssri don’t work for me. If anything they make things worse. This was not an easy process in the beginning but worth it for the end. I had to force myself out of it. I make myself get up early every morning and have time to love myself. I do my best every day and I have a lot of good days. But listen there is no cure. The bad days still come and I have to accept them for what they are and find a way to work with them. Therapy and a schedule makes all this possible.
I would pay to listen to you talk astrology. More please. All the signs. All the everything.
