I have a lot of Ana Luisa also. I have that same watchband style bracelet. I don't really like the dark gold/ bronzy color on me though. I prefer lighter colored gold.

I got the Givenchy concealer and OMG ITS SO AMAZING! And I have such finicky skin. But when I use this I can’t bring myself to use any foundation! The most I’ll do is a little of sneaky balm to further blend. But omg I love it wow. Thank you!!

I have combo t-zone but somewhat dehydrated skin otherwise and I absolutely adore the new Guerlain foundation. Everyone's mileage varies!
I absolutely ADORE the danessa myricks blush balms. I however am a medium neutral olive so I can take a bit of pigment on my face in terms of blushes. These are one of the few blushes that last on me all day long. I have like 4 of them now. I may as well pick up the rest. Would love for DM to do a bronzer in this same format.
❤I had given up being a HiLite Girly, but that Rare Beauty highlighter in “Pasty AF” (you know, the lightest shade) changed my life. It doesn’t show texture or spotlight wrinkles-and I’m oooold & too poor for any, um, medically assisted aging treatments, lol. I drag that thing around in my makeup bag and I have had it since the initial release & it’s stayed intact. (realizing I just bragged it’s stayed intact during Mercury Retrograde and now I must remove her else it’ll pop)

Thank you sooo much for your detailed feedback❤. As some one with mature dry skin I DID NOT get the hype over that Guerlain foundation. Not radiant or pore smoothing at all!!!! It felt light and yes was a comfortable soft matte but did absolutely nothing helpful to my pores, lines, and overall complexion like so many reviews claimed.
wow that's interesting about your experience of the revolution maxi reloaded palette I was super excited about it and bought it. I couldn't get many of the colors to stick to my lids, i had a lot of fall out and it was all gone in less than 2 hours. The byredo palette for me on the other hand is missing the variety I want but it goes on easily with smooth mattes and subtle shimmers I am looking for and it lasted most of the day. My lids lean oily so I alway powder them first wonder if that is a factor or if Im too oily lidded for revolution palette. The byredo I also use for blushes which have lasted all day for me.

Loving the two Make lipsticks I got (your reel really helped) and am weirdly obsessed with the Kulfi eyeshadow. I got that lime green color and I never usually go for a color like that but I keep reaching for it! The texture is SO FUN. I just wanna stick my finger in it (which is good because I can't get it to work with a brush) and smear it all over my eyelid. I very well may need all the colors, thankfully there's only a handful. But that disco blue is in my sights!❤
At this point I’m just kinda obsessed with kulfi. As HLP would say, I’m watching their future career with great interest
Rituel de Fille says they have a brush that works for their pot shadows, so maybe that would work for that Kulfi shadow if you wanted it to be brushable? Haven’t tried it though…

I know this is late (just catching up on videos) and it's weird, but can you do a video on your jewelry re: ear stretching, nose studs and makeup application, etc?
The Pat bronzers are def for when I'm my palest ( saw this as a medium dark skin black woman). they are doing what they need to do but they aren't making me look like a bronzed goddess like my other bronzers but that was what I was needing in my collection but I wasn't expecting it. I use it when I wear zinc based SPF's.

I guess I “blinked” and we went from Hourglass gold glossy lipstick balm to Make Beauty same type of thing…somehow, I took away from it that my Hourglass stick was refillable (now I know it’s not) so I started pulling it apart and got so frustrated because it kept winding up and not opening up…UGH! I looked it up online and found nothing that said it was refillable…next I read through the comments to see if there was any confirmation of this, nope. Last I rewatched that part of the video. 🥵
After a short break I changed the video speed setting to .75%.
I’m much better now. Carry on. 😁🙂🤓

I bought some Ana Luisa pieces last year and unfortunately I didn't know that the gold plating was super prone to tarnishing without proper care. I got a beautiful green ring and now pretty much all the gold plating has worn off the band. Not sure if it was from the natural oils on my hands, soaps, fragrances etc. Kind of sad about it since it was pricey. However, the necklace I purchased hasn't tarnished yet. I still love the ring and wear it a lot, I just wish it was easier to take care of, especially if you're going to wear it daily. I love gold on my skin tone but I think I'll have to stick with sterling silver for the ease of wear.
The phytosurgence sparkly shadows from March/April-ish? I think I’ve only seen you use one of them, and I think it was on top of other stuff.
So I have Bronze Dawn in the Pt bronzer and mine is borderline orange - it's definitely bronzy on me. I like the bronzers but I just don't think they are anything super special.
I bought the VB Eyewear sticks in the macaron, pecan and trench. I LOVE the macaron, it feels so fresh and perfect for spring and it slides on like a dream. The trench also has a great texture but is essentially eye color for me and does absolutely nothing. I suppose I could use it as a base but it really feels pointless for me. The pecan feels like an entirely different product - it goes on patchy and dry and the color is potentially the worst brown I’ve ever used. It manages to look muddy in the worst way and is impossible to blend. I have debated ordering the caramel and oyster, but feel like I’ve struck out with these in general. I do like the Givenchy concealer, but I think I like the Valentino one just a tiny bit more, but that may be because the color is just a perfect match for me. Love that blouse on you!

I bought the ami cole mascara on your rec, and I love it. But truthfully I thought you were recommending a tubing mascara, so while I love it , I also find it ANNOYING to take off.
Are you old enough to remember prescriptives, the makeup brand? They used a computer to analyze your coloring and then the counter person would take the orange & green & purple and someone make your perfect match?
I tried the Givenchy concealer in a light medium neutral shade and found it oxidized wildly! Like 30 min later I was like why am I orange?! I’m going to try a lighter shade to account for that. I do like the correctors though.
I am…they were so ahead of their time at Perscriptives. Their Traceless foundation tint was unbelievably good and would fit right into the current trend and sit at the top of the pack even after all this time. I worked for Clinique and even though that was a great experience for me in college and grad school, I always wished to be on the Prescriptives counter.

Remember when Kackie Reviews Beauty actually talked about the makeup and not herself? Incessant yammering about makeup, color theory and textures ~ great. But I feel like someone did this girl a disservice by lying to her and telling her that everyone cares about everything she has to say about herself.
