Zach, this project is showcasing not just your skills. But your willingness to tackle projects of all sizes regardless of the extent of your knowledge base. You choose to learn as you go and achieve more by doing so.
I feel like I’m watching you ,not only doing really cool stuff ,but also seeing you go from a really smart kid into a wise man ! Props to mom and pop ! Love everything you do from the projects to the camera work to the commentary, thanks !! Could you imagine a plexiglass deck Probably too bright ! ?!!!!!!! Or maybe that material they make cutting boards out of !
Honestly such an awesome idea and the execution was probably better than I would have imagined! Love it! Excited for the next episodes and the series as a whole!!! Truly an ULTIMATE (re)build! 🔥
When I built my pontoon, I ran half inch PVC tubing from front to back and ran all my wiring through the tubing to limit chaffing of the wires and exposure to salt water. I also drilled my pontoon for a drain plug so I wasn't completely dependent on bilge pumps. Just a thought.
The plastic of the pontoons does an amazing job diffusing most of the light so it doesn’t have much of a hot spot where the lamp is… it looks amazing. Very clever idea. All you need now is a disco ball LOL!!
At the end, i would be interested in seeing a cost breakdown with an idea of how much time / labor you have in it, and maybe a comparison to cost of just buying a similar tritoon or pontoon. I know this will be custom and have additional features like the lighted pontoons, seating, etc.
Afternoon brother, are you gonna dab some 5200 on those exposed screws. Hate to see them back off and your light drops off and your mounting them allover again. Piece of mind. Great videos keep them coming.
Young man, I don’t know how old you are but, you are awesome! You are not afraid to tackle anything! This makes your channel awesome to watch. You are an inspiration to your whole generation. How old are you anyway I have four boys and a girl. Their ages range from 39 to 22. They are all great! I hope that they all will all aspire to be bold such as yourself! God bless you and everything that you do!
I hope you put a killer power plant on that pontoon love the lights and once again another great educational video how to do it, great editing on this episode of Ultimate Rebuilds, all you need now Zach is a sponsor for the power plant and that project will rock big time especially on the water at night with some aerial shots that's going to be so cool, can hardly wait for that episode😁💯🇨🇦
Hey, Zach! Great work! I'm worried about the aluminium structure. With only 1 bolt on each point where the bars cross each other, isn't there a possibility of the entire assembly sliding diagonally? I know the pontoons themselves are preventing it from happening on a sort of "compression resistance", and the flooring is certainly gonna help, but I'm still worried about that. Maybe adding a second screw on some sections, just in case? Keep up the great work! Thanks!!
That wiring harness is such a time saver I just bought my first one for my third pontoon build but it won't be my last one. Nice build on your pontoon. The lights are BAD ASS!
Looking good. I'm curious what your plan is with the overhang on the front. Are you going to modify the trailer stops? How are you going to secure the bow of the boat for trailering, if you don't have it pulled tight to the stops?
Can’t wait to watch this channel take off for you bro, the ideas, the work, and the finished products for you seem to always impress. I’m in your area and hope to see this out on the water.
The problem is that they cannot be used while the boat is in motion as they will interfere with the navigation lights and you will get a ticket from water police or USCG.
Might want to consider adding sealant to the holes where the wires enter the plastic into the lights. Water will find a way to enter the pontoons! Also, bilge pumps tend to break, might want to consider an access hatch on the floor so you can inspect for water and also to replace the pump.
Tritoon owner here, this build is very cool. Can't wait to see your layout. Just had a question on those bilge pump lines. Did you install 1 way check valves? Say you have 10 or 15 ppl out on that with waves, you could get water back in your discharge holes. Just a thought.
Looks like a fun project. I was just about to write if you are able to run one side green and one side red. Good job. Will you paint the underside of the plywood with marine epoxy paint? You might want to look into it. It will look good and help the plywood last longer. Keep them coming
Dude I was just thinking about you! Was literally about to search you to see if you had uploaded a new vid! Great timing thank you! And looking forward to more on the ship update!
Well done so far. I always enjoy all of your videos. If you haven't bolted down the flooring yet? Might I suggest painting the underside of the flooring white to better reflect the light from the pontoons.
Friggin love it definitely different than anything I have ever seen. Always enjoyable to watch your channel never disappointed. Have a goodnight and stay safe Jimmy from North Attleboro Massachusetts
Enjoying this second of many, one suggestion, here in the uk we are 1/2 and 1/2 - half imperial half metric so all our tapes have both on them so great for not quite spot on measurements ie almost 30 inches could be exactly 76 cm - very handy😊
It’s looking good but you really should put all of those wires in loom and fasten down/ secure those tanks. I know weight will hold them down however they won’t always be full. For future reference you should have used Sikaflex 291 or 3M 5200 for the lights as they better sealant for marine use as well as seal up all the screws. The lights look really cool and is a neat idea. It would also be cool to have lights that shine directly into the water the same color as well.
That is going to look great on the water, and you'll have "docking lights" that won't be blinding every other boater out after dark LOL Unfortunately it doesn't look like they're directional enough to be used as your navigation lights. Are you planning on painting the deck plywood before bolting it down? Definitely be a lot easier to do while the wood is still loose
Best build yet, loooks great! Your logs look like they have a foot gap between them. Could you have gone up in diameter a size and still had an 8.5 foot deck? Or do you need a certain gap between toons?
Disco floor panels to the upper side of the deck, a giant pile of LED lights into a matrix through translucent white or opaque floor panels, all linked to become a giant spectrum analyzer or winamp style visualizations to the tunes, and fog machines that float a cool colored mist over the surface.
Here's a Idea! Get two used jet ski engines and put them between your pontoons towards the front of your boat. Keep the engines you already have in the back. It will make it so the boat is faster and make it more balanced. Just think how fast you could go!

King of backhanded complements.
This needs to end up on UA-cam Trending!!!

Good advice

Those lights are awesome! Enjoyed the video.
매번 정말 재미있어요 정보도 많이 얻는거 같습니다. 감사합니다.

Love that you made the garage more efficient to help you with projects like this
What a cool idea Zach! Looks great. And the shop is looking clean too! Keep up the great work.
You are one of the hardest working UA-cam guys out there! And your right, the Lighting was AWESOME! Keep it up and thank you for the great videos!
Afternoon brother, are you gonna dab some 5200 on those exposed screws. Hate to see them back off and your light drops off and your mounting them allover again. Piece of mind. Great videos keep them coming.
Another great video, always pumped to see the latest project.

Zack you do some awesome work and I can’t believe the colors come through that that clear like you said that’s the first in the world. Great work.

Love the build!!
Amazing as always!
I think 5200 would be better to use so close to the waterline and it’s going under the deck, won’t be easy to reseal.
Yay!!!! Another great video of your new project !!!! Keep up the good and exciting work :)
Wow does that look killer! Pretty amazed how awesome those lights turned out my man. 🤘
this channel is underrated seriously its super fun to watch
Awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along

Zach, I’ve found myself looking forward to your content the most lately
The lights inside are going to be cool 😎
Really like the roof lighting setup!!
i could watch this channel all day.. amazing
Wow!!! This looks amazing! I can't wait to see footage of it cruising on the water.
your space looks great! kudos! keep up the good work!
Is that a cemetary behind your house?
lol, no it’s an orange grove
You do a great job explaining and make it look very accessible.
Those look really cool!
I wonder if painting the underside of the floor gloss white would really enhance the glow?
Wow, looks amazing. You never disappoint, love all your builds.
Gonna be cool
Dude, this is so cool! Will be a sight to see on the water!
Love it! It looks mint 👍
Good job. Will be awesome in the water
Wow! Those lights are super cool! Excited for a night time voyage!
The problem is that they cannot be used while the boat is in motion as they will interfere with the navigation lights and you will get a ticket from water police or USCG.
Oh, hmmm... Maybe make the navigation lights extremely bright so they over power the LED lol@@karlstreed3698
This is going to be awesome on the water, cant wait for that video.
That is absolute fire. Will be interested how it runs with the poly tubes in the water. Great job.
Dude! Those lights are awesome!
If Crocs doesn't give my man a sponsorship soon, they are missing out big time.
Love you videos. For the drilling, how about making a jig? PS, the lights look awesome!
Every ocean monster is gonna say "what was that"

It looked amazing at nite should look great when it's all done and on the water
That boat is going to be amazing! It's so cool in your yard, too. 🎉 I can't wait to see the progress and when it's on the water.

Early gang!! Love your videos Zach - keep doing what you’re doing! One of my favorite channels, and I look forward to your videos. 👏
That's wild looks awesome
Looks awesome
Awesome with led’s! Can’t wait to see what’s next!!

Awesome effect!
Now that's kool!!! Great work!
It looks awesome
Friggin love it definitely different than anything I have ever seen. Always enjoyable to watch your channel never disappointed. Have a goodnight and stay safe Jimmy from North Attleboro Massachusetts
This is DOPE!!!
Enjoying this second of many, one suggestion, here in the uk we are 1/2 and 1/2 - half imperial half metric so all our tapes have both on them so great for not quite spot on measurements ie almost 30 inches could be exactly 76 cm - very handy😊
Dang!! That is awesome!!!😮😮😮
Looking good 2x👍
Makes perfect sense constantly hearing about pontoon boats. Getting run over by things and waterways
Unique 😊✨
If im not mistaken those seablaze are only supose to be turn on in water the water will cool them down so that they dont burn
Lights are very sleek and streamlined! Build is better slow than fast. Nice pontoon.
Just a quick question does the light controller have a link up for music input to make the lights flash with a beat?
Are you planning to make a hatch in middle to access center pontoon and all equipment inside??
That looks soo good
That looks awesome
It’s looking good but you really should put all of those wires in loom and fasten down/ secure those tanks. I know weight will hold them down however they won’t always be full. Stainless bolts and nuts threw aluminum? What are to doing to stop the galvanic corrosion from dis-similar metals?
Can you control the lights individually? Would be sweet to change just the front two outside pontoon lights to red and green when underway
Looks pretty cool
👍🏻…looks awesome! …good job!
When you are done, would you make a break down of the cost of rebuilding a used one and this build? Pros and cons ? Great work.👍
Did you film the making of that sick ceiling light in the shop?! Looks so good. BTW the pontoon looks incredible. Never seen anything like it.
That is going to look great on the water, and you'll have "docking lights" that won't be blinding every other boater out after dark LOL Unfortunately it doesn't look like they're directional enough to be used as your navigation lights. What is behind your garage? Thought it was a graveyard but, I don't think that's right.
I thought the same thing but I think it is more citrus Grove like across the street
Came here to ask the same question. Those didn't look like tombstones, but the spacing looks like a military cemetery.
Does the deck come pre-treated?
Best build yet, loooks great! Your logs look like they have a foot gap between them. Could you have gone up in diameter a size and still had an 8.5 foot deck? Or do you need a certain gap between toons?
You are the man, dude, brother!!!
That is very cool!
What is the light fixture on your ceiling?
Where is this particular kit? I’ve looked through their website and can only find the individual pontoons. Is this available yet?
Very cool! But hows the Surf Jet coming along!? =P
I know this pontoon is going to look dope when it's done.
what if you wired them up seperatly starboard and port so they can be your running lights too?
Disco floor panels to the upper side of the deck, a giant pile of LED lights into a matrix through translucent white or opaque floor panels, all linked to become a giant spectrum analyzer or winamp style visualizations to the tunes, and fog machines that float a cool colored mist over the surface.
how easy is it going to be to register a homemade boat?
THAT is SO COOL Zach!!! Now I want one!!! 😁
Here's a Idea! Get two used jet ski engines and put them between your pontoons towards the front of your boat. Keep the engines you already have in the back.
It will make it so the boat is faster and make it more balanced.
Just think how fast you could go!
Once it's on the water, it'll be the talk of the lake, I liked the green best...........................
