Faded is hands down my favorite. What a banger. I also love the overall obscure PS2 JRPG aesthetic of the whole album.

I LOVED their self titled album from 2019, then their DCX2 EP in 2020. I had not heard a band quite like them before, I guess a lot of peiple call that "Noisecore" idk but I honestly love it, and personally this is my favorite album of theirs so far! So dynamic. You have their heaviest sounds yet, you have melodic parts they haven't really done much of before, and their grooves are just groovier. Their sound scratches an itch no other band can really.

I was blown away at the fact something so 'electronic' sounding is going to be in my Top 3 AOTY, I f'ing loved it. Aussie bias of course, but man, this is like the first album that's super heavy on the synths and effects, even it being 'blown out' I'd say is part of it, that I found myself fully enjoying it, not a bone in my body felt weird. Dude I was blown off my feet listening to this, it was so damn good. Easily 9.5/10
The thing that makes it even more fucked up is all those synths and effects you're hearing aren't done in post, Braden literally goes Dance Dance Revolution on the pedalboard LIVE to make all that. The fact he can turn all these effects into coherent riffs and grooves is so beyond insane to me

This album really blew my ass to smithereens, and I'm happily in agreement that faded is one of the best songs on this album. The song DESERVES to have its own music video
Had this on repeat since it released. Some people just call it noise but I love it. One of my favourite albums of 2024 easily!

i feel like diamond construct deserves way more credit. they pretty mich influenced a whole wave of writing riffs and got ripped off so hard a few years back. crazy that they managed to stay under the radar for so long

Braden is such a trailblazer with his style of tapdancing on the pedalboard kinda riffing, it's nuts he doesn't get the props he deserves
