Nice to get to know you like this, Alice! I work in a blood bank and can tell you that, for the most part, when you want to donate blood and also get a tattoo, as long as it's done at a reputable place and you wait at least six months, you should be good to go. It might vary depending on the country (I've heard 6 months to a year, mostly). It's all about giving the skin time to heal because blood donation is about giving whatever extra you are able to offer. :)
My local blood bank said it's a myth (and excuse used to not donate) for all tattoos/piercings as I had wanted to get more and asked (probably different laws as some places do have funky ones). The 6 months is only from non licensed tattooers cause they're worried about the hiv risk. They said technically I could do day of as long as I'm not bleeding but that they'd recommemd at least a week or so depending on healing.
@@misomie in Italy usually 4 months are required between a tatoo and a donation, shurely is only a legal factor to determinate the time over the medical one

Your kitchen is _fine!_ I like the look of something more antiquated; yours looks like it was put up in the 1960s, and has been upgraded with newer kit since then. You should _not_ feel ashamed of it; also, I will point out that tile was originally a great improvement upon what came before it but is also esthetically pleasing. It looks like a kitchen that people _actually own,_ like, in their homes, rather than a film studio. It would be great to see like, baking tutorials; especially ones aimed at people (like me) who have _absolutely_ no idea because we didn't grow up with this stuff and get lost at steps that every other creator skips over assuming we know how to do it... @@fabdlnltc I have always liked to draw but my mother always made me feel guilty (catholic background culture) if I would "waste" time doing it (or any other thing that I enjoyed doing for that matter) cause I was only supposed to do "productive" things such as school work. So if you are lucky and at some point you manage to retrain your brain to healthy patterns you are already much older than that... And not everyone manages even. So I think she is very talented and likely also has had supportive people in her life.
I know right, I'm 27 and I have JUST started in a job I always wanted, like a month ago... other than that, I haven't achieved ANYTHING yet I have so so many dreams😭😭
@@PuolikuuIrene yes, supportive people around is also necessary. That's part of the luck factor. Talent can be worked on with extensive and reflective practice. However, if you are truly passionate, no matter how much bad luck you had, sooner or later you will find the time to do what your passion wants to do. It is a lot easier than we want to believe, because lazyness, blaming others and prefering to watch videos online, gaming or whatever involve less energy. But a passionate one will take that time to make it productive for him. No matter how much or who restrict it
@@fabdlnltc i used to be so insecure that doing what I was passionate about would make me feel so horrible about myself it was extremely painful to bear even when I was trying... "spit on a tub and sent it to a lab and hoping it will not steal you DNA to make clones of you" 2:30 Don't know why, can't stop to laugh !! Thank you, you brighten my evening xD
The main issue is that they don't really do what they say. Legally, they say their product is for entertainment purposes only and not expected to be correct. That excuses the fact they fail such basic tests as giving identical twins the same results. Cloning is a joke, but they're actually stealing/claiming any useful bits they can find in your DNA. If it turns out you're naturally immune to cancer? They will own that cure, and you would be sued if you tried to donate your DNA for others to study.
It actually says I love you, we use it all the time but in the sense of showing affection to someone, a friend, family, it has a lighter connotation of love and care. Te quiero y te amo are two different things btw, the latter is used by someone who has fallen in love with you and the phrase can also be used to show the greatest love (family or your partner)
@@elishavelez8746 still the translation would be i love you, because “like” doesn’t represent the meaning of the word sadly it doesn’t exist in English
@@giovannabellatin We're all are in agreement that "Quiero" translates into "love" in English. And can be (and is) used both platonically and romantically. When you do decide to outfit your bakery, A lot of stainless steel furniture like worktop benches, sinks, prep tables... are available at auction. Find some local (to you) auction houses and start watching their listings. Here in the midwest I have seen at least 5 auctions that include kitchen appliances this last summer. It's unfortunate the amount of small businesses that are going out of business. But it might help your business when you start up if you can get some previously owned kitchen furnishings and appliances.

Hello from a retired Canadian Baker- love your content! When I listen to your vids, I remember so many similar experiences- happily most encounters were better than worse. We are very similar- I started baking when I was 4- drove my mom mad until she let me do the shortbread at Christmas and it spiralled from there. It's probably an age thing though- when I became a pastry chef, I started working nights so I could listen to jazz and the blues instead of the heavy metal stuff the hot line crew listened to :) Love that guy from Disturbed when he does Sound of Silence, though. Keep up the great work and please post a UA-cam vid about your truck, I'd love to see it and I don't tictok
I once held out a menu to a man without arms, then held it there because I didn't notice, until he waved his shoulder nubs at me and politely declined it. So yeah, I feel you about the blind customer.
Excellent presentation, Alice. It's amazing you're that young and are putting together great content while studying *and* working out of your food truck part time. Wow!
That was very informative. Thank you! I really like your contenct because - unlike many others who report the daily shenanigans of their customers - your content is almost always very wholesome. I feel better after watching your shorts, not worse. That is quite a feat. :)
Are you saying forestry or floristry? I can actually picture you doing both. I'm so impressed that you speak 3 languages and you're doing a double major honors course and still have time to be killing it on social media. Your generation in general impresses me more often than not. Your parents may not care about your social media presence but I have no doubt that they're proud of you every day (maybe not with the guide dog though 🤣) I want you to know that I have tried to hand things to blind people, shake hands with hands-less people, and tried to get someone without legs to straighten their legs (it was a healthcare thing, I don't generally care how people sit). It's completely normal to make those mistakes when you don't know and not unexpected when you do know. Habits are incredibly hard to break. It's also normal to feel embarrassed. The fact that you're willing to share something about yourself that embarrasses you, is a sign of maturity. Please know, we're all laughing because we're remembering doing it ourselves.
I have watched many of your UA-cam shorts, I think media wise, your biggest strength is that you are so likable and are genuinely a nice person, and this is coming from someone who has never met you and lives in Arizona.
We watch your shorts every evening together as a family. We love them so much! Thank you for sharing your life with us and bringing some slice-of-life wholesomeness to UA-cam.

I had tumors in my right breast when I was 21-22. My physician blamed it/them on the fact that I drank enough Dr. Peppers in college to construct a headboard for my bed out of cans (roughly a six-pack or two per week). When I had surgery the surgeon said he grasped the tumor and, as he pulled it out, a string of 6 tumors came out, all attached.
I just looked it up, evidently three months is the time limit.
just solve the problem and avoid all concerns by symply staying the beautiful, natural person you are.
@@misomie in Italy usually 4 months are required between a tatoo and a donation, shurely is only a legal factor to determinate the time over the medical one
I think it's 3 months here too, not 100% sure

Your german is really impressive! Especially for learning it for only 4yrs. I feel so sorry for everyone trying to learn it :D
*edit*
And dear Sid, please keep up the great content :)
Seriously! I'm so impressed with her grammar as well :)
WHOA. I'm German, and your German was so good!
Also, you're my comfort youtuber. I always watch your videos before bed, they calm me down sm. Love from Germany.
Same here, also a lot of love from Germany 🤗
From me too haha
I am also from Germany and I love those videos.
Die Welt is halt nen Dorf^^
Multitalent 😂
Congrats on 500K subs Alice!! It's been a lot of fun watching your shorts & I can't wait until you inevitably get 1 million!
I'm 61 years old and love to bake. Baking in the wintertime is my favorite time of year to bake. This Q&A made me want to subscribe to your channel because of your personality and how creative your videos are!! I wish you many happy years of baking!! ❤
You shouldn't feel too bad about handing the menu to the blind man's dog. Most guide dogs are trained to hand over things to their owner, it's probably not the first time it happened and might even be expected :)
It's not that bad. I once read a story online about a server who brought a braille menu to a deaf customer.
@@bobbuethe1477😂😂😂😂 thank you, that made me laugh so hard.
Thanks, Alice! 🙂 Every time I see a video of you, you make me want to smile!
I’ve quite enjoyed your content over the last several months!
It totally warms my heart to discover that you’re also a fan of Heavy Metal.
A great deal many of the best and nicest people are metal heads!! 🤘🏼
3:49 Omg metal fan 😆😆😆I am Also a metal, punk rock fan🔥🤘🏽🤘🏽 finally someone who likes rock 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
The best Rock band i called The Warning , 3 sisters from Mexico ages 19,22,24 once you listen to them you are hooked.
It's always really chill people who love heavy metal for some reason
You are so pretty and smart. I love watching your videos. Thank you for giving me a mental/emotional break when I truly need it.
Your kitchen is _fine!_
I like the look of something more antiquated; yours looks like it was put up in the 1960s, and has been upgraded with newer kit since then.
Like measuring.
your voice is so calming, this is like 50% of why I'm watching you. another half is obviously great content 😊
Wow that close up to the eyes made my day, I had not realized how beautiful they are and those peeps comparing you to Sid the sloth are totally insane they definitely are not too far apart. Also your content is amazing I’m glad that your channel popped up on my feed ❤❤
I agree 100%
You have beautiful eyes, Alice!
You're just cute! ❤
Me: Wow I totally see Sid, and never expected to discover Sid can be such a pretty girl.
The people comparing her to Sid the sloth is a reference to one of her YT shorts!!!! It was about kids having no filter, and they said that to her
Not too far apart from the front, just too close from behind? Lovely girl with a fantastic sense of humor.
Just finished watching ALLLLLL your reels. I loved them. Chanel is addicting
I like your long form content, it’s good being able to watch you while baking myself without having to touch the screen to scroll through more content 😊
Skills, talent, determination, natural beauty, humor... You have the complete package. (I apologize for packaging you as though "you" are a package. YOU are a gift.)
.
The thing that floored me in this video is that you're 20. 20? 20?!?!?!?!? How have you accomplished so much at such a young age?
Probably like many of the people who achieved the same or even more at that age: Just pursue what you want to do. Especially if you like it
She was baking from 3, she knew was passionate about it, after that she genuinely kept doing it and took the risks and compromise to keep doing it
@@fabdlnltc I have always liked to draw but my mother always made me feel guilty (catholic background culture) if I would "waste" time doing it (or any other thing that I enjoyed doing for that matter) cause I was only supposed to do "productive" things such as school work.
Not sooo easy like you mention, at least not at that age when I had zero self esteem and someone to beate up every single day. I was very obedient, so words did hurt and have more effect that they should have had. Now it's different and I could call it laziness, but now I also have a job and reaching an age when priorities are a bit different
that was fun to watch, youre so sweeet! excited to watch more of your fun videos
You are just delightful! Thank you for being so incredibly forthcoming.
10:40 - She actually manages to make my mother tongue sound pleasant.
I love watching your videos. Having worked in coffee shops, with customers, with people (in general) it is funny how so many things are the same. - wishing you all the best!
"spit on a tub and sent it to a lab and hoping it will not steal you DNA to make clones of you" 2:30
Don't know why, can't stop to laugh !!
13:14 That last bit that Alice couldn't understand just says, "I like you a lot" in Spanish.
(Based off the flag, they're from Mexico.) 🇲🇽
It actually says I love you, we use it all the time but in the sense of showing affection to someone, a friend, family, it has a lighter connotation of love and care.
Te quiero y te amo are two different things btw, the latter is used by someone who has fallen in love with you and the phrase can also be used to show the greatest love (family or your partner)
@@pleiadianaran yes, but I wanted to emphasize it's platonic context.
Unlike "Gustas / Like" which would be only used platonically, but it's more common to use the phrase "Té Quiero" to express liking an individual platonically rather than using the phrase "Mé Gustas".
That was super interesting to watch! I hope you'll consider making another Q&A session, because this one was a BLAST!
Love from Italy 🇮🇹
Girl you are so lovely! Thanks for doing your skits, they are so fun!
@fromscratchbaker
You are the first channel in years that has both calming audio, but substantial/real/ inspiring content, even if skits! I create playlists of your shorts to fall asleep to or listen to when im anxious, you have the perfect ASMR like comforting voice and aesthetic on your channel! Keep shining beauty star 💫🌸 xx
Your shorts were nice and funny but now I realised how funny and relatable you are, this video really made me laugh out loud many times
You are adorable! And as a former baker, i can attest to most of your skits being totally accurate!
This was the most honest and straight forward Q&A I've ever seen in my life
The "i'm 20, i'm old" made me cry a tiny bit as a 45 yr old ✨young person✨. But that comment about you having wide-set eyes? I think they are gorgeous.
You have my respect and my thanks for humorous, light videos. I can watch you and relax from all the (bleep) on more serious channels. You go girl!
Fellow metal enjoyer!!! I had a feeling
Loving the full vid
Congratulations on all your impressive success. Your honesty is refreshing. I look forward to your channel.
Made me smile when you said you were into heavy metal :) rock on girly! 🤘🤘
I am so impressed with your drive and certainty in knowing what you want! You seem so very willing to go after the things you want. Wish I had half your drive when I was 20. Brava!
The blind man story is the best!! I love it and always laugh at it.
Happened to catch this 3min after posted, we are so happy, me and my daughter loving your vids! Night time here in Sweden now, really nice getting answers on all them questions 🙏🌟
why does it matter when it was posted?
@@johnodonoghue651 It gives a sense of live connection
I generally don't write comments, but I wanted to tell you how impressed I am about the fact that you speak german (so well)! I am german and understand all the people who decide to not learn this language due to its difficulty :) (And I agree on the fact, that italian food is the best! :))
Have a great day!
I have been watching your shorts for ages, and now I got your channel recommended. Love your skits ❤
This is lovely, and I appreciate you being so genuine 🌈🤍
I once held out a menu to a man without arms, then held it there because I didn't notice, until he waved his shoulder nubs at me and politely declined it. So yeah, I feel you about the blind customer.
Thank you for making videos Alice - you really connect with your viewers - wish you all the best!
You have probably one of the most wholesome and pleasant channels on youtube! Thank you for being you.
i love your personality outside of the skits
love the skits and your personality!
You're surprising me even more. I never expected you to speak my mother tongue 🥹❤️
Excellent presentation, Alice. It's amazing you're that young and are putting together great content while studying *and* working out of your food truck part time. Wow!
1:15 "your eyes are so far apart you look like Sid the Sloth" got me laughing down a chimney 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭
I'm hearing floristry
I have watched many of your UA-cam shorts, I think media wise, your biggest strength is that you are so likable and are genuinely a nice person, and this is coming from someone who has never met you and lives in Arizona.
Good luck on your patisserie course! I also love crochet and floristry, I am currently doing a floristry course.
Just adorable.
Has anyone noticed she is an incredible actress? Seriously, there's a job for you if you ever get tired of baking.
Alice, I think you're really awesome! I love baking (as a hobby) and I think your short videos are funny and touching!
We watch your shorts every evening together as a family. We love them so much! Thank you for sharing your life with us and bringing some slice-of-life wholesomeness to UA-cam.
4:00 YOOO WHAT THATS SO CRAZY MY FIRST TIME HEARING A CREATOR TALK ABOUT QUADECA
The only reason we as chefs use long sleeves is because it prevents oil splattering on our arms, although I do prefer the short sleeve jackets, witch I’ll use when I open my own restaurant after culinary school.
Amazing video. Loved the questions and answers. Didn't realise u were Irish, that's awesome. Pretty cool to hear that someone else enjoys heavy music.
I'm so glad you did a video like this. I feel like I know you on a more personal level and just made me like you so much more. Congratulations on your achievements so far! You are killing it. 🥳

Omg it just got recommended to me under this video 😂.
I went to Ireland last year and had lots of fun! First time ever leaving the states! I actually enjoyed all the stews and soda bread! I was also shocked because I didn't see any potato farms while I was there, but plenty of sheep!
As a non-baker chef, zesting citrus is one of my favorite things. Such a wonderful fresh smell. If I cook you a meal it's probably got zest in it somewhere.
I've been here since literally day 0, and it's so wonderful to see how much you've grown as a person (and baker).
I have to admit the Irish accent is one that I basically could listen to all day. I love getting your shorts because they make me cringe inside and sometimes, a good cringe feeling is good! Thanks for your wonderfully entertaining content.
As a joke, I call my left breast "Charles" because we're not as close as me and my right breast (where the tumors were) whom I call "Charlie" because we've been through a lot together. Anyway, Alice, hang in there, continue your videos, congrats on 500K followers and good luck in your schooling. P. S. I'm now 66 and tumors never reappeared.
