    your mint sweater is so pretty - I would use the complimentary yarn - so cool. Love your spa clothes - and love th -at you have family over - we did too - I had my son and grandson visit it was fun - have a great day

      It was so nice having all 3 kids/spouses and 5 grandkids over. There was a lot of noise with kids giggling and playing like kids do. It was wonderful

    Really like the color on the mint sweater. You could add a little lacey edge border to the sleeves and call them done.

      I think I might do that. I don’t think this needs much.

    I do like the sleeves the way they are

      Me too. I’ll have to add yarn to bind them off.

    I can't believe the mint wasn't your first colour choice, it looks amazing on you! I probably wouldn't add much to the sleeves. I think it is cute and modern as is but that's totally personal preference.

      I’m loving this color. It really wasn’t my first choice, so happy I have it though. I don’t think the sleeves really need anything else

    The sleeves do look beautiful as is, but if I look at the totality of the picture of the sweater on you, I would add those extra rows on that gorgeous sweater. I would also not use that complementary yarn at the bottom of your sweater - if you wanted to use it, I would have done so on the sleeves. You are right - the color (minty green) looks very beautiful on you. I LOVE your Lamia shawl - it is working up very, very nice. ❤

      You may have a point on the sparkle yarn. Maybe I don’t want to highlight my hips in such a matter. I’m enjoying the process of this too, it’s coming out really nice.

    Hi Shannon!! As I was watching your video, I noticed a box on the shelf behind you that has "Yaweh" written in Hebrew. I took some Hebrew in the past. So cool I could read it

    • @anotheryarn
      @anotheryarn  2 місяці тому

      That is wonderful. That is always there, sometimes you can’t see it due to the camera angle etc. but it’s always there as is God. My husband was studying Hebrew previously, it’s a hard language

      @@anotheryarn Yes getting use to the symbols and double translating was tricky, but oh do fun.

    That mint top is looking so good! If it were mine, I would make the sleeves a bit longer but without any flair.
    I have a suggestion for the lace at the bottom - why not knit the pattern as specified, using the main colour, and then add the sparkly yarn using duplicate stitch to the areas where you want it?

    • @anotheryarn
      @anotheryarn  2 місяці тому

      I like that idea. Maybe add a touch of sparkle but sparingly

    That mint sweater is just lovely! I love the idea of the shimmer on the bottom. Not to further complicate things, but have you thought of adding a few rounds of sparkles to finish off the sleeves? (Btw, I agree the sleeves look great at current length, so like maybe 3-rows and bind off with sparkle?). You could try to use bobbins for the peaks and then join when you get out of the peaks. But I hate trying to guesstimate how much I need for bobbins. But it would avoid the floats. But I also think you’re better at picking up floats than me. For some reason I hate it 😂😂😂

      Surprise surprise I took the easy route of no sparkle. As much as I love the bling I think the advice was solid. 🥰

    Hi Shannon everything you make is so beautiful. And I love your new sweater the sleeves look like they were done to be honest. And as far as dragging the yarn are you going to get bored with it you are so close to being done lol. How did your granddaughter look in her new top? And did you ever get done with your other granddaughters sweater I mean the hood? How's the dragon coming along ? Lol I had questions and need to know things 😅.

    Tell the truth you used some of the bulky yarn to stuff your smaller emotional chicken 😂.. Love the weekly square, pretty color too.. ❤🧶. Your top is gorgeous 😮

    I like the sweater just like it is. The sleeves are so pretty. Why make it so complicated. I would use that other yarn with the bling on something else. I would not use it on the bottom of the sweater because it draws attention to that area. You want to draw attention to the top, not the bottom. Just my opinion. I would finish the rest with the same yarn and not use the bling yarn. The details of the lace is beautiful enough. It looks good next to your skin color. Great choice.😊

      This comment won the day. I e taken your advice and am half way through the bottom lace now. Thank you for bringing this up, I obviously didn’t take this aspect into account. Although I’ve got a lot at the top, I’ve got more at the no 🤭. Your points are spot on.
