BMW X5 Engine Filter Replacement DIY (2014-2018 BMW F15X5 & BMW F16 X6)

►The BMW X5 engine air filter is intended to clean the air entering the intake before it gets into the engine. Over the course of thousands of hours of operation, the air filter can become clogged up by dust and other debris which will significantly decrease airflow into the engine. In addition, a clogged air filter can also allow smaller particles through into the engine causing additional wear and tear. This OEM replacement filter will drop into place and fit just like the original.
FCP Euro recommends regular inspection of your engine's air filter and replacement at a minimum every 30,000 miles but depending on where you live and how you drive your car, it's worth checking every few oil changes. Great video! The dealership wanted to charge me $189 for this, I got the same Mann filter in your video from Amazon for under $20 delivered, and it took me 15 minutes to change it! BTW I had a hard time pulling the front air snorkel out of the airbox, so left it connected after popping the front part up, and it wasn't a problem.

Got a 2014 X5 30D N57A, filter is in total different location, it is beside the engine and have to insert vertically

You could install K&N filter instead of Mann and reduce the life of your engine for at least 25% guaranteed!..
But increase the power by 2%😂
