Zach, my wife and I are purchasing almost 14 acres in the middle of nowhere in middle Georgia. My wife has just been diagnosed with early onset Parkingson's. She's quit her high pressure and stressed filled job. I think that will go a long way to helping slow down her symptoms along with our own home-grown vegetables and meat(proper diet). the entire judicial system needs to be overhauled. If they arent following the constitution, then they need to be removed. If they are corrupt, then imprisoned. Im disgusted by what scotus is doing. I thought they were upholding the constitution. Guess not.

We don’t have air conditioning and have figured out how to catch a cross breeze through strategically open windows. We moved from a home freezing with air conditioning to this and we like it better by far. It certainly has improved some of my allergies. It’s amazing how much of a difference living in a suburb vs country living actually makes on the effects of the body. This is probably the healthiest I’ve ever been in my 43 years of living.

I agree with everything you've stated. I'm not a homesteader. Would like to be. If my wife of 25 years were still alive, I am sure that's exactly what we'd be doing. It's okay. I PERSONALLY AM CONFIDENT in EVERYTHING that's coming! I'm actually just watching this insanity, and simply riding out the remainder of my time here. No kids, nothing actually... I do learn things though from the homesteaders such as Zach 👍😉🎸🎹🥁🎤

We have a garden in a moderate size town, in Oklahoma. This year, we notice the pollinators and insects are far between. Everyone's yard around us, looks like a golf green without any weeds. Last year we had bees and moths and butterflies. Not this year. The only watermelons, passion fruit and cantaloupe bearing fruit this year, are the ones we pollinated with a Q-Tip or by rubbing blooms together. Things are changing!
I need to start making notes of the addresses of my neighbors who have a Trump sign in their yard. They might be an ally when the SHTF.

It’s complicated. I’ve researched the decrease in the insect population. Unleaded gasoline produces Nitrous Oxide, when that combines with moisture, rain, dew, fog, etc it becomes Notric Acid, which is lethal to insects at every stage of development… egg, larvae, pupae, adult. Nitrous Oxide is used by Big Agri as a pesticide.
Go by word of mouth, instead. Stay active in your local community and find like-minded people. Also, be as peaceful as possible in your steadfast disagreements. However, give back the same energy they send your way, if they go too far. Long live the core American spirit!! We were founded by rebels and been feared ever since.

Unfortunately the founding stock is being replaced by strangers. A culture cannot be sustained by a people who did not give rise to it.
True Americans have always been a minority. There are always risks tied to having convictions. As things get worse, like-minded people will start looking to band together to weather the chaos. They want you to give up and/or feel isolated.

Mullein is awesome! When I had the "Vid", I was sick for over 2 weeks and was getting worse. I finally told my husband "the heck with these OTC meds, I'm gonna fix this my traditional way". I started a regimen of mullein along with ginger and buckwheat honey and was up and running in 3 days! I should have known better and just started with that. It's made my hubby a believer - finally. I'm been using herbs for over 30 years and now he's on board too. He even tilled a big patch on our property specifically for mullein plants. Lol
Nebulized hydrogen peroxide literally saved my life when our house got the coof. 👌🏻

I know I am replying to my own comment Zack but I did have one more thing to add. My personal belief is that true freedom of speech has never existed and never will as long as there are people who cannot tolerate speech that they disagree with. There are to many people in this world who are more than willing to use the power of government to shut people up. This has how it has always been and how it will always be as long as there are people. Otherwise I understand your concerns and they are valid but I do not think it will change. The right will be in charge of the government soon and they will use those same powers to shut down their desenters.

Zack, I want to thank you again for what you did with those books. Grateful I have a printer and a lot of office supplies being somewhat self employed. I'm so happy to have them all in page protectors and in spiral bound notebooks. It took me forever but, oh my, SO worth it. There are a lot of these youtubers that would have tried to really profit off of them. I can think of one guy in particular. Love his wife but, don't care for him too much especially the way he treats her on camera. I never saw you act that way or do that to Jamie. I hope it's okay to say this but, I miss her sweet smiling face and rosey cheeks. You were a lucky man. We were all lucky to have learned from her. God Bless you and your boys! Weaning was off AC can be done by raising your temp one degree at a time. Acclimate! Also, take cold showers, too!
One of my favorite plants! Pick the flowers every day and put them in a jar., add some chopped garlic cloves (and st. johns wort if you have it) then cover with very warm (not hot) olive oil....best thing ever for ear infections!

@@nannag5801 They are just starting to shoot up stalks, they maybe 10” high now. I harvested the seed 3 years ago from an abandoned lot and started the seeds inside last spring. It’s been a process but I 100% know that they are in good ground and not sprayed.
Once I brought home a comfrey plant from a fair and lovingly planted it in my garden. I nurtured it for two seasons and made sure it wasn’t crowded by anything. I was so careful about that thing, until one day my husband tilled the garden bed for me, and didn’t realize what it was. He chopped it up right through the root, into several pieces. I freaked. But would you know that thing sprouted like a hydra and came back twice as strong? Thanks hubby! 😂

I have already planned to not go down 'nice' to any of the BS of politics or local idiots, and feel okay with living without...seems to have become a way of Life, & at 66, 3 kids & 7 grandies, I'm not opting out anytime soon...They still have much to learn & do as the Times come.

They have been taking away my freedom of speech for 5 yrs now. At first when I tried to post a comment about a certain agency they blocked my internet access to certain sites. Then it went to totally disabling my phone when I tried to post about that certain governing body so that the only thing I could do with my smart phone was turn it off, then back on & start over. To this day, no one has been able to see what I was commenting on, except “the controllers”. Must be over the target.

This ends only one way and it's depressing. I have the option of one of two choices, anger or depression, I choose anger. Depression just means futility, hopelessness and giving up, those aren't for me. I'm 52, I grew up playing hockey, back in the day when hockey was still a tough game, if you weren't bleeding you weren't playing right and we where kids, I started at 7 years old in 1979. The equipment was far from what it is now and I was a goaltender all the way up. Every shot would hurt, and I used anger to power through it, to give me strength, it's about time to use that once again. You're absolutely right, about everything and I thank you for saying it, it's been frustrating watching not just homesteaders but farmers too, talk about "new policies", that basically end their already strained ability to stay in business and all the while acting as if some protest or union or legislative pressure or the law would protect them and reverse all this. As if the election will change anything. In my 52 years, everything has only gone one direction, a little at a time, a little at a time and then all at once. Well, this is the "all at once" moment in our history. Become enslaved by desperation, destitution and dependency or ........................................................Nothing ever reverses, nothing is ever undone.

We are living without ac in town at down to 8°C indoors at midwinter and up to 29°C indoors midsummer at night. It doesn't get anyone ill. We mitigate to live around this.
We now live in densities, dwellings and locations that can't be inhabited without AC.
Agricultural inputs are fertilizers, herbicides, manure, etc... things used in the process of growing your plants/livestock.
Welp….another day has passed and things have gotten worse as no one does nothing but complain on social media about government restrictions on social media.

Not only are the ideas in the article intrusive of our liberty, they are typically S-T-U-P-I-D ideas based upon Magical thinking.
In order to add fibre to food, you need to produce it. Which brings to mind a few questions:
1. Why would we grow a crop to produce fibre to add to “food”, when many crops could provide both nutrition AND fibre?
2. Why would the production of fibre-rich crops produce any less greenhouse gas than produce of any other vegetables?
3. There is no such thing as “zero carbon production”. Any production of a worthwhile food source is going to require an exchange of nutrients from one organism to another organism, and Both organisms when through consumption will expel waste!!! And that process will expel carbon!!!
What we DO with that carbon is a matter for discussion, but most homesteaders will be happy to reclaim and make use of it if someone invents a way! THAT IS … IF that is these folks’ objective, rather than World Domination)🙄😁😂

I’m in the country north of your country and things are happening much quicker here than there.
We can’t see news and other things on social media, and we have no free speech here, soon we will be facing jail time for what they deem as hate speech, even if they suspect that we will say something that is considered hate speech. Our wells are needing to be registered, in some places animals are being classified into ‘units’ and they limit the number of units you can have per acre. The size of the animals determines how many units it is.
I myself breed dogs and have noticed that all of our dog food here is filled with pea and legume protein. It’s messing with the dogs hormones and my girls aren’t producing any litters. So I can only imagine that is part of the plan with humans too when they cut out our meat consumption.
