I used to go to your dad's camp when I was younger so its so cool to watch and see the familiar woods when you hunt at home. Always loved watching your videos.
I guess you could consider them a single use item, it definitely works, but did sustain some damage. I don’t think it will fly as well after being bent. I use a fixed blade with a crossbow, so far so good.
If you liked trying that one you should try the Swhacker 3" 150 gr. Holy crap is it devastating and I'm thinking a lot more durable and reliable than those heads.
The original version was adjustable from 2 1/2” or a little over 3”. They came in 100 and 125 grain. Shot a lot of deer with them, just had to watch the shoulder.
Definitely try the Swhacker 150 grain 3”. Much, much, much better than that arrow. I use the Swhacker 2.25” 125 grain and love it. They’re built much better. Great video though, I really enjoyed it.
I think that the lubrication from the carton of water helped it go through everything and land on the ground. Same with the deer, the blood lubricates the arrow as it passes through. You don't have that if you just shoot into the block of silicone or whatever that block of stuff was.
All bows should be tuned to the broadhead they shoot (fixed or mechanical). My Wasp fixed broadheads shoot like my field points and I'm the only weak chain in that link because they don't fail. As long as I do my job (take good patient ethical shots), they do the rest.
Hear we go down the rabbit hole-if you want more penetration use a heavy broad head, 200gr-250gr. Speed does nothing for kinetic energy, weight does, which is punching power. Think of it like this, heavy weight boxer to light weight boxer and snipers use heavy gr bullets. Now for the return comments
You want a good fixed broadheads try the magnus black hornet serated those things pack a punch I shot a buck last yr with em and the entrance was about 2 inches the exit was about 4-5
I shot the grim reaper whitetail extreme 2" blades that cut a 3" hole. I figure I can aim 2" further back and still cut further forward than a 3/4" fixed. Killed just over a dozen deer with them all exited except the one that hit the off shoulder joint.
All mechanical broadheads are one use. You shoot it once and then you have to replace the blades. Otherwise you risk blade deployment failures. However this is still a garbage design for a broadhead. Penetration is way more important than cutting diameter.
Slang blade makes a 4 inch broad head. Shot a couple deer with them. Wasn’t impressed with penetration at all. You should make a video On them though!!!
I can testify on these I shot some on my compound bow , and managed to kill 3 deer with these exact Broadheads and it was just complete devastation on the deer to the point where half a lung was just laying on the ground.
Anything containing the phrase "mechanical" has the potential to fail. I like many fell for the "mechanical broadheada" when they hit the market and bought so many different ones. Like rolling dice they may open they may not. A may not makes for a longgggggg search for your harvest. I personally prefer fixed 1000%. I shoot a Bowtech BT-X31. I've learned that faster bows perform better with fixed . Shoot straight my friends #ARCHERSDOITBETTER
Well...if you shoot a deer at 5 yards like you did...any broadhead should work. Not a good test. I'll stick to my rage extreme chiesel tip. Hasnt failedme yet.
@ how many of your arrows stay in the deer? Don’t get a full pass through? How many deer have you hit the shoulder and never recovered? How many deer you thought the shot looked perfect and never found? Using mechanicals.
I used to go to your dad's camp when I was younger so its so cool to watch and see the familiar woods when you hunt at home. Always loved watching your videos.
great content, it was nice to see that wide broadhead to make pass through. This confirms ballistic gel is NOT = animals when shooting arrows.
Swahacker makes a 3” blade as well. Those are very good heads
I use them on my crossbow dropped a buck last year never took a step
They are awesome! Killed two deer with them and didn't have to trail either one.
This was the largest you could find? 2 3/4”? What if I told you Swhacker makes a 3” broadhead?
Let’s not even mention the 5” dead ringer they used to make. Lol. That was a hatchet flying down eange
My friend has been shooting the swacker 3" and has killed over 18 deer with them and they make a massive exit
Ooo...maybe I'm gunna have to redo this video.
I've taken 2 deer with the 3 inch broadhead this year
They also made that same trauma that was 3.25 cutting diameter or lower the set screw to next hole for 2.75 inch
You are getting a Sub. To the point, no fluff, deer content, a guy messing around in the woods.
Awesome content brother. I absolutely love this kind of video with actual test in real situations. Good work buddy
Wanted to do some more interesting videos this season. Glad you liked it!
Cool vid 😎. Congrats on the harvest 🤙. Best of luck out there man. I look forward to your deer hunting adventures ✌️

I used those for a season, they're nasty. Ended up going down to 125gr heads after that, and so far the 269 blue swhackers have been my favorite.
The original version was adjustable from 2 1/2” or a little over 3”. They came in 100 and 125 grain. Shot a lot of deer with them, just had to watch the shoulder.
I enjoy these testing products videos!! Keep up the good work!!
Thank you! Will do!
Great footage my friend! Thank you for sharing the results! Congrats!!
Thanks!!
Look up the slang blade by hole shot it goes in at 7/8 of a inch and comes out at 4 inches 🤙👌
Not bad for a chinese copy of a shacker 150.First time I have seen these. Usually shwacker blades will fit the knockoffs
3 inch shwacker leave insane blood trails
Shoot the rage extreme 4 blade I’ve been using them in love em amazing blood trails
2 blade also
I've used these broadbeads. Its like stabbing a red spray paint can and kicking it through the woods . Blood trails are ridiculous
You should use turkey broadheads next deer hunt. They have some with 4-6 inch wide cuts
Or maybe on a turkey?
Definitely try the Swhacker 150 grain 3”. Much, much, much better than that arrow. I use the Swhacker 2.25” 125 grain and love it. They’re built much better. Great video though, I really enjoyed it.
Giant exit wound. What a slice. Those Broadheads look beyond lethal.
Heck of a slice

6.5 BleedMore!
Haven't seen those heads in a long time, but they do work!
Nicely done video! Loved that you tested first on the ballistic gel and then went out to test on a real deer! So, was this a SCHWACKER 3.0?
haven't watched this vid yet, but i've always wanted to see someone make a vid with these 💪
swhacker 3" 150 grain are the biggest, and yes they work!
I didn't see this in the website...maybe a new video?
Swat is 3.75
Grim reapers have a 3”. It’s LETHAL
Dang!
Theres another broadhead company called grizzly, they make a 200 grain broadhead. Its not insanely wide but the length is rediculous.
All bows should be tuned to the broadhead they shoot (fixed or mechanical).
My Wasp fixed broadheads shoot like my field points and I'm the only weak chain in that link because they don't fail. As long as I do my job (take good patient ethical shots), they do the rest.
Love deadringer! I use there fixed broadheads and both deer I have got with them so far went less then 40 yards and dead after hit
And the blood trail was like someone walked through with a bucket of blood
I love my ss34 shoots great maybe it’s only competition is the Athens Axxis 35 on accuracy. That Broadhead is a banger though!
good hunt on your new land - experiment was a success - enjoy some grilling
DEAD WALKER, made in Michigan, are 4” when deployed. Can’t find them, anymore, since Covid.
Shot two deer with the same broad head neither made it more then 40 yards. Amazing blood trails.
Need to try swat. 3.75 inch diameter
Awesome video

Is the blood trail beter than Ramcats?
Look up Fire-n-the-hole 4" broadhead 😂
try the tomohawk by fire in the hole it's 4 inch cut. killed a 200lb buck and a doe with it last year, the doe's liver and lungs were outside its body
People may want to look at the hunting regulations in their area, some areas limit the cutting diameter allowed while bow hunting.
You want a good fixed broadheads try the magnus black hornet serated those things pack a punch I shot a buck last yr with em and the entrance was about 2 inches the exit was about 4-5
Magnus is all I use best fixed blade out there don't matter what style they shred
you should check out the toxic broadheads if you wanna see some crazy stuff...
There is a 4” cut one also . I just can’t remember the name of them
Shot one with a g5 mega meat last year and it looked like someone dropped a 5 gallon bucket of red paint.
Hey could you do a best deer scent video like u did with the deer blocks video
Bro said in my mind if it is not Dead it well be 😆😆
I shot the grim reaper whitetail extreme 2" blades that cut a 3" hole. I figure I can aim 2" further back and still cut further forward than a 3/4" fixed. Killed just over a dozen deer with them all exited except the one that hit the off shoulder joint.
Those are good heads megameats make a similar hole also but blades r thicker on reapers
I gave one to a friend who shot a doe in the shoulder... busted bone and deployed all the way. The hole was huge
I hunt with the dead Ringer just nasty but they don't make them any more.
It's a 3 inch.
I still like Thunder Head 125s from back in the day. 👍😪
Ask your deer processor what kind of broadheads he finds in deer. More mechanical parts are found than fixed.
size doesnt matter right RIGHT
Those big broadheads pretty much cut and wrap your meet for ya!
😂😂
Looked like a pretty high shot to me
Rage is definitely the best mechanical. Trypan Titanium. They don’t make it 30yards.
Works great that’s what I use
Dead ringer just nasty!! I wanna see a video on thoes they are huge
have you tried mega meat broadhead by g5
You never heard of the buck blaster then lol
I don't have a problem going through bone with a 2in mechanical
0:46 tuned is tuned. Fixed blades just fly like shit.
I shot a buck with one of these he went 15 yards. looked like a murder scene but this is a one time broad head. Messes them up every time.
They fly great I use them all the time never lost a deer yet rage
I would like to see you test toulou broad heads. 100% American made
Dead ringer made the trauma, 3 1/8.
Grim reaper whitetail specials all the way
I’m starting bow hunt soon
6.5 Bleedmore is king
Cool video but I'll stick with my old 100 grain muzzey broadheads
The biggest broadhead I use is the 3 inch reaper's
They make a broadhead that has a 4 inch cut it’s called the slang blade it leaves a big hole but doesn’t fly straight
I saw that one actually, I thought it was for turkeys how crazy it looked lol
Mechanicaks are for people who compensate for pour aim. Change my mind. Real archers use fix blades
Sounded like you hit a block of concrete. Killed her rib bone
That is the same knife I have
All mechanical broadheads are one use. You shoot it once and then you have to replace the blades. Otherwise you risk blade deployment failures. However this is still a garbage design for a broadhead. Penetration is way more important than cutting diameter.
Do some research, bigger isn’t better. Look up Dr. Ashby
Slang blade makes a 4 inch broad head. Shot a couple deer with them. Wasn’t impressed with penetration at all. You should make a video On them though!!!
I will always only use fixed blades based on my past experiences with the expandable ones not deploying properly
We use toxic broadheads
All the lings😂😂😂😂
Don't do it. I used these and had the blades fall off in flight. Twice one with turkey and deer.
I was wondering about how reliable and durable they would be. They look kinda sketchy to me lol
Their real failure point is the screw that holds the blades...needs to be bigger
I can testify on these I shot some on my compound bow , and managed to kill 3 deer with these exact Broadheads and it was just complete devastation on the deer to the point where half a lung was just laying on the ground.
WOW
That thing destroyed that deer
All Mechanical broad head shooters are Compensating for something.
Yeah. Small cut. Like using something else small over something bigger
@@jonathanyates5198 why thank you.
Shwacker 3 in. Is biger
You should be back further let it build a little more speed and energy

#ARCHERSDOITBETTER
DBX big game 3
People watch your laws. I know in mn u can't have a broadhead over 2 inches
You should see what the G5 Mega Meat does too a squirrel on my channel 😂. I shot a doe last night gotta get after her it's been a long night.
Hopefully you got her - I can only imagine what that bushy tail looked like.
@@RipnStikOutdoors check it out it's insane and no I didn't. I walked 6 miles about 2 miles of creek bottom. Never found anything.
Do a sharpening video please. Some of us are noobs.
Well...if you shoot a deer at 5 yards like you did...any broadhead should work.
Not a good test. I'll stick to my rage extreme chiesel tip. Hasnt failedme yet.
Nice deer, she did not go far. Congrats cya. John
I can’t believe you would even consider using these on a live animal. They look like pure junk IMO.
Couldn't pay me to shoot anything but a fixed blade.
Big blades to make up for poor marksmanship
Mechanicals should be illegal
Why?
Such dumb statement 🤦♂️🤦♂️
@ how many of your arrows stay in the deer? Don’t get a full pass through? How many deer have you hit the shoulder and never recovered? How many deer you thought the shot looked perfect and never found? Using mechanicals.
@@casperd6388 thats what i thought…..
I stopped watching after numbnuts drove his axe into the dirt
