Diversity in it’s excellence☺️the best part though was the chilli farm and eating these super hot fruits, just amazing! As a long-time chilli grower (yes in Scotland!) I was totally enthralled as I’m currently growing same/similar superhots as well as mild/medium heat chillies right now…some I’ll freeze most I’ll dry and grind to powder….like Mark I love my heat!🥵

To be honest, Mark. I could watch you do just about anything and be entertained. Your personality, expressions and passion is unique and just down right genuine and fun to watch.
After watching this video, I ordered a bottle of Berties pepper sauce. I have a fairly high tolerance for spice heat (not like Mark has though), I found it very flavorful with a bit of a vinegar taste, the heat was a lower medium for me. I tried to order the scorpion sauce, but they were out. It is also a bit on the expensive side at 12.99 for 300ml.
What an awesome awesome episode. Mark you are THE man!! Bertie's has made a name for themselves..and the flavour has been consistent over the years.👏👏👏
I have never hear Mark say wow thats spicy , One whole pepper in a dish of food normally one in a huge pot of food . What a tolerance level Mark has unreal :)
I didn't really know a lot about Trinidad and Tobago before watching Mark's videos on it. Feels like I've really gotten to know this place through food alone! Will have to visit soon!
I agree and wish I could afford to take my family there for vacation and experience the food an culture! I'm going to buy some Bertie's hot pepper sauce because it looks great and help support their local economy.
Yo that scorpion pepper sauce is no joke. My sister's husband brought some back with him when i was 16/17 and told me to put a drop on my food. Instant sweating and my tongue felt like i burned a hole through it, but good lord its delicious!

Definitely on my list of places to visit! And that food! I JUST WANT TO EAT MY WEIGHT IN ALL OF THAT DELICIOUSNESS! (But I can do without the Scorpion Peppers. I would die.)
Had to buy some after watching your video. Freaking love them, but like you said they deserve respect. I chop them in small bits like you did here. A small piece with each bite of food. They're so delicious 😋
Never saw a machine like that for sowing seeds. Pretty interesting. Also, beautiful farm. Once again Mark, I'm glad you came and proud of how you've portrayed us. :) Blessings.
Yes. It was fascinating. Never knew we had those machines here. Logically though, can't see anyone touching those seeds even to cultivate because that's where the heat is.
Quan is ah boss, love her food. 😋😋 Happy you get to experience our food Mark. Thank you again Mark, Zack and Visit Trinidad, for showcasing our food. Mark pass the pepper test, time to make him an honorary "trini."
Mark thanks for coming to Trinidad and Tobago, I can see you enjoyed your visit, I must say you're the first person I've seen who eats so much peppers..... man awesomeness!!!!.....come back soon.
Mark I'm convinced your mouth, throat, and stomach are made of steel at this point. Bravo to your efforts at eating the beautiful peppers of Trinidad!! 🥰❤
My parents are Trinidadian and can eat pepper but after they watched this my mom opened her eyes so wide and said said " weyyy dat boy can eat peppa " . You deserve some kind of award or something for this , you are the first and only person i have seen that can handle so much heat!
Mark has a knack for bringing out the true essence of a country as a Trinidadian I’m so happy for this accurate representation of the spirit of my country ❤Thanks Mark ❤
I absolutely love your videos, and it’s quite amazing how much tolerance you have for spicy food. I don’t trust you when you say “it’s not that spicy” whenever you eat something we all know is spicy as heck hahahaha I also love how you respect each country and culture!! Thank you for your videos, I love them!! I wish you and your family the very best!! 💜💜
The fried pork, cooked so carefully. The chilly farm field trip is unbelievable. Very nice video. Mark is so energized and his videos are so engaging. ❤
Mark, I can't believe you ate the whole scorpion pepper!! You're a BRAVE man!!😂 Loved this beautiful journey into the pepper fields, pepper manufacturing and pepper eating too!😁💜👏
I love the spices and flavours the locals has to offer in their food that makes it so delicious! There are lots of greenery and foliage high up in the mountain villages.
Thank you so much Mark for showing one of the great attributes of the country. This series will surely boost the the culinary diversity of Trinidad and show the world the positive side of the country. Your energetic attitude and grace in showcasing the different cultures will surely inspire your huge followers to think about visiting the island. This series will also assist the tourism industry the tools to expand their program to attract more people to our lovely country.
they have a type of pepper from Jamaica , its small and round like a cranberry but its super spicy , its probably one of the hottest peppers , I tried it once and it was way too hot , I forgot what its called but its round and its red , looks like a berry I made a traditional Jamaican pepper sauce with it , it had some carrots and mangos and it blow my mind , it was good , I'm going to make another batch when I get time , I think organic apple cider vinegar is the best vinegar for hot sauce , gives it a nice kick
I didn't realise how diverse Trinidad is. Amazingly cool to see different cultures speaking and cooking like this. All of the food looks incredibly good.
I watch your channel every single night with my wife. No matter how bad of a day I've had at work I know I can count on ol' Mark Wiens to cheer me up with his food experiences and reactions. Love ya Mark from Oregon 😊
Your ability to eat extreme hot peppers is amazing. I have often wondered how anyone can actually taste the food with your mouth on fire. It must be like people who can tolerate pain. Love your videos!
Best part about 🇹🇹 is that we are a mix of so many different races....everything about this country is a blend of religion, food, culture, traditions, music, skin tones....
All I have to say to you Mark is WOOOOW!!! You are on a next level with peppers.👏👏👏 Its good to see the Quan Kep's is still around,we used to go to the original spot in Cragnish village in Princes Town for our roast pork and black pudding(blood sausage) many many years ago,Thanks Mark 😎👍

Definitely on my list of places to visit! And that food! I JUST WANT TO EAT MY WEIGHT IN ALL OF THAT DELICIOUSNESS! (But I can do without the Scorpion Peppers. I would die.)
Mark will be world famous after this episode! Trinidad was your best series!
Thank you!! 😊
Hey great video, really enjoyed the bit of history throughout the video
Mark thanks for coming to Trinidad and Tobago, I can see you enjoyed your visit, I must say you're the first person I've seen who eats so much peppers..... man awesomeness!!!!.....come back soon.

Thank you so much Mark for showing one of the great attributes of the country. Your energetic attitude and grace in showcasing the different cultures will surely inspire your huge followers to think about visiting the island. This series will also assist the tourism industry the tools to expand their program to attract more people to our lovely country.
they have a type of pepper from Jamaica , its small and round like a cranberry but its super spicy , its probably one of the hottest peppers , I tried it once and it was way too hot , I forgot what its called but its round and its red , looks like a berry
I made a traditional Jamaican pepper sauce with it , it had some carrots and mangos and it blow my mind , it was good , I'm going to make another batch when I get time , I think organic apple cider vinegar is the best vinegar for hot sauce , gives it a nice kick
Huge respect to Zaak for being the real MV.P. taking bite of the scorpion, risking his very life for his country. What a hero!
Hahahaha 🤣 LoL yeah he real brave that's what patriotism is all about taking one for the team
A REAL patriot 😂😂😂
Lol risking life and limb

I didn't realise how diverse Trinidad is. Amazingly cool to see different cultures speaking and cooking like this. All of the food looks incredibly good.
I watch your channel every single night with my wife. No matter how bad of a day I've had at work I know I can count on ol' Mark Wiens to cheer me up with his food experiences and reactions. Love ya Mark from Oregon 😊
Yes Bertie's is a staple in my home. ❤❤❤ Love how he carried on his dad's tradition
No one tell me that this isn’t mark wiens best series. This is the best series or on par with the Jamaican one! Amazing!
When Mark and Tony taste the black pud. You know its good, they both just grin and gently nod their heads in an approving manner. 😋
Your ability to eat extreme hot peppers is amazing. I have often wondered how anyone can actually taste the food with your mouth on fire. It must be like people who can tolerate pain. Love your videos!
Best part about 🇹🇹 is that we are a mix of so many different races....everything about this country is a blend of religion, food, culture, traditions, music, skin tones....
wow. Amazing..... I am from Trinidad and I cannot even dream about eating one of those peppers. Mark Wiens Respect.
