- Finally, the day has come! After building this car for almost 2 years, we got it to the track! A lot of parts were broken and tears were wept, but all in all I got to turn quite a few laps. Make sure to stick around for the next one, there's a lot of exciting content coming in the future!

Never gave up 🔥
Took a lot of patience but I pushed through lol
oh man that engine sounds great, we are improving, you are building a spectacular car, it is a dream to see it grow
Thanks, I appreciate that!
Let’s goooooo! Finally rippin it up!
Hell yah!
It’s rips man, I hope to see it at the next event in October. Engine bay looks killer
I’m hopeful it will be fixed by then!
Great build, pleasure to watch you and the car grow! Keep it up!
Thanks!
Nice driving man. Looks like you had a blast.
Thanks dude, it definitely felt good to finally drive the car again!
This looks fun af , gj man
Super fun! Thanks
Looks like you have a great crew supporting you!
Haha they’re just in it for the rides
@@Teysik I would be too🤣
@@kelseygittings5830 😂
I actually went because he took piper
@@iamsamanthatrainer shut up lol
I salute your patience over this build....hats off
Thanks!
You motivated me to finish my R32 build....I've literally collected a MAF...ECU...and made my own harness just by watching you do your thing and your advice really is very helpful.....keep going soldier....representing all the way from Zambia southern africa....
@@faraimulenga409 awesome! Good luck with your build!
@@faraimulenga409 awesome! Good luck with your build!
That engine sounds incredible! Nicely done & best of luck fixing it. What I will say :- When drifting, try and let your hands slip through the steering wheel instead of grabbing it all the way around (flappy hands)... that is if your alignment self centres (if it doesn't, you need to take a good look at that)
I know haha, I’ve been drifting for about 5 years. Most of the issue here was me fighting the no power steering, and also not having driven the car in almost 2 years
@@Teysik ahhhh yeah I forgot you said about no PAS. That would be why! its been about 2 years for me, but 3-4 years before that and it was like riding a bicycle! Hopefully fittign a high pressure line works for you, but if not, it might be worth considering an electric power steering pump, see/hear a lot of JZ people have PAS issues hwen removing the air con bracket. I intend on doing that with mine when its ready to go in the car.
Heres a question for you (dont have time to go through your videos yet) - what fuel injectors are you using, and what clutch/gearbox?
@@chidley osidetiger 440cc injectors, bmw ZF 5speed with the clutch that’s recommended for the adapter kit (check my parts list I think it’s on there) and I’m going to avoid electric power steering at all costs. I’ve seen too many problems with it. I have an xcessive manufacturing power steering bracket that should fix the issue with removing ac, but time will tell
@@Teysik thankyou, and fair enough re: electric PAS. Could your bogging be fuel related do you think? 440's are quite small from what I've been told. If it helps, I was told subaru pink 570cc injectors fit straight in our GE rails/inlets. Yet to try them but thats what I'll be going for (also a low budget build)
@@chidley the factory aristo ecu I’m using requires 440cc injectors, but the 440cc injectors can be bumped up closer to to 550cc with higher fuel pressure
You should do a total cost video
Planning on it 🙂
Did you ever get it tuned? Was looking for a video on that
It’s on a stock ecu. No tuning needed. I do plan on dynoing it in the near future though
@@Teysik This is on pump right? And this is NATT ECU Mod?
@@JonathanMai yes. Using jdm aristo GTE ecu
@@Teysik I'm debating whether or not to go with the gte ecu or a standalone for many reasons.
1 is that I don't have any flex fuel near me, it is super limited. If I do go turbo on pump with the s366 then I wouldn't be able to do more than 15 or so psi which would get me around 400 ish hp.
2 is that probably I wouldn't be able to fully use the standalone's features just because of my limited choice on gas, I might be wrong.
any input?
@@JonathanMai around 15psi is my goal as well. Could get you closer to 450hp. I wouldn’t go much more than 550-600hp on stock bottom end anyways, for reliability. You can always start with gte and upgrade later, it would be an easy upgrade.
As far as fuel goes, e85 is better. But you can still make 1000hp on pump gas on a stand-alone if you have good fuel management and good spark. So you would definitely be able to make more power with a standalone. The stock ecu will only add so much fuel, so it’s limited to about 550hp from what I’ve seen
that maf is to close to the turbo causing air turbulance
Interesting. I’ll look into that
is this monroe?
Nah, it’s Hawkeye Downs in Iowa
