I found this chef/recipie since I had some lobster tails and was looking for a good way to cook them. I have cooked lobster tails many times and they have been good in the past. I followed this recipie to the T and they were the BEST I have ever done and tasted like I was at a fine dining restaurant!!! And it really was easy! I did not have that searing pan he used, however I have a gas stove that has a griddle in the middle and seared them on that, it worked like a charm!
Hi chef. Just wanted to say that you were one of the first chefs I started watching when I was trying to learn new recipes, and that was about 10 years ago. It's great to see that you're still doing your thing (and have hardly seemed to age). Best wishes.
In 10 months, the price of lobster tail at Costco has gone up by $6. I'm glad you showed the price. I just picked up eight lobster tails for Thanksgiving! Thanks for making the video, it's very helpful!
Hi Chef, This video is so easy tips to understand. mouth is watery i wish you could make for me haha! I wanted to ask you a question, did you boiled the lobster before frying in the low gas?
I made this for my parents this eve for Valentine's day dinner! 🥩🦞🧄🥔🥛 spinach, Red V🍰🍾🥰🥂4 dessert. Thanks for posting and I will def use this as a go to!👍🏾😊👊🏾 I did use only one pan, and white wine to deglaze instead of water tho.😌
Hi! You Should try Garlic Butter Lobster Tail Recipe | The Easiest Lobster Tail Recipe you Will Ever Make. Checkout The recipe here: ua-cam.com/video/CgLJdqlaW1I/v-deo.html
Absolutely. Just don't overdo it. It can become chewy if cooked too long. I'd suggest a 5-6 minute boil, and that will help to free the meat from the shell too.
Easy to love ... lobster, especially cold water, New England lobster. I do not like to add flavors to lobster, their taste IS the only taste I want to savor. Butter belongs on things like EGGS, TOAST, vegetables that you don't like, not LOBSTER. IMNSFHO, baking lobster tails is the only way to go. Free the meat from the shell and then either leave the meat exposed or put it back in the shell, each tastes somewhat different than the other. Any other flavorings that I might think appropriate or intriguing are served as sides. Sampling them is at the discretion of the person served a baked LOBSTER TAIL. Experimenting with extra flavors is pretty much up to your choice of white wines. But don't forget that a sip of wine is FLUSHING the lobster flavor out of you mouth & taste buds. Devour baked lobster tail all by itself, then take a break from eating to enjoy what's happening inside you.
Wow, Lobster there were cheap that time. I live in Sydney, I've tried to buy this year 2023 they are $85 for 3 piece. I went local fish market 1 piece is $25. Too expensive 😢

What's an alternative for that oil you used? Because i'm not going to watch your other video and make your oil before i can continue to prepare the lobster, Einstein
Im glad you made this comment. I wanted to make lobster for mothers day and was looking at recipes. I assumed lobster tails were already cleaned of all that, but I was definitely wrong!
Indeed not much a flavor profile going on. However, keep in mind lobster is a delicacy that packs a ton of natural flavor just like any seafood, it doesn't need a lot of attention and sometimes less is more!
Heck yeah it’s expensive. And it’s for no good reason! Just because they can charge a lot and create an image of it NOT being a “poverty food” lol... regardless, my mother and I steal a decent amount anytime we crave it. What’s funny is that today we stole like 13 lobster tails, & we were paying for the other 7 but the meat cutting deli guy, messed up with the label!!! So even if we didn’t steal the tails, we would’ve paid a total of $15 for 20 tails!!!! I think maybe he was tired today 😲 so he gave us an insanely low price. And the lazy chick at the register doesn’t care or notice anything lol she just scans... so it was pointless for us to take most of them. Man, I wish corporations & the big boy execs started equalizing pay. The wage gap is just INSANE.

Nice recipe thanks for sharing. For some reason I always find the Costco lobster tails to be much saltier than fresh live lobsters.
Interesting! I haven't experienced that, but we don't buy lobster that often.
Amazing recipe, thank you!
Thank you for commenting.
I think lemon juice would be ideal to the butter water mixture.
Thank you for the vid. I never would have used water in the butter mixture. Im off to make this now 😊
Hope you enjoy it!
So YUMMY 😜Thanks for sharing 🙏

How long do you baste the lobster with butter?
Until it's cooked to your liking.
amazing!
I made this for my parents this eve for Valentine's day dinner! 🥩🦞🧄🥔🥛 spinach, Red V🍰🍾🥰🥂4 dessert.

Wow🤤🤤
nice eye contact when you took that meat
4:46 damn i felt that too
Does it make any difference if I cook the lobster without the shell? 🤔
Yes. Cooking the lobster with the shells always give it more flavor.
Thanks
Welcome!
Nice technique, but I would have added some lemon.
Hey. Is it possible to boil it. Then sear it on a pan slightly or do what u did with the butter
Absolutely. Just don't overdo it. It can become chewy if cooked too long. I'd suggest a 5-6 minute boil, and that will help to free the meat from the shell too.
Leighton Galleries thanks. U were right.
Leighton Galleries I’ve made 16 tails now lol. I got lucky and got 10 four oz for free and I took the last 6 with a five finger discount lol.
@@Puppy_Puppington Damn near a felony at those prices.
❤️❤️❤️
God is with you all godbless and your families and everyone in the world amen 🙏 god and Jesus are good
You didn’t mentioned how long to cook them for !!??
This one is different than all the others
No lemon?

Don't know any restaurant that charges $50 for a lobster tail. $30 maybe, but not $50.
You must not live in California (or the US)!
Nope. Live in Florida.
gordon ramsey says never rinse lobster in water
Beautiful tip, but skip the NASTY BUTTER !!
What's an alternative for that oil you used? Because i'm not going to watch your other video and make your oil before i can continue to prepare the lobster, Einstein
That all is nice, but, you didn’t take the poop vein out!

Seem like a bland recipe
