Oh my goodness I don’t know if this has made me feel worse or better .. I have a 4 year old boy who’s just started school still in pull-ups .. been trying to get him toilet trained for 2 years .. rang the health visitor quite a few times and was told to abandon everything I’ve tried and keep him in nappies and was placed on a waiting list for 14 weeks.. school told me to leave that and do this and that and they’re getting him on the toilet at school but he’s just not doing it at home .. I’m literally so overwhelmed as a mum right now and it’s getting me so emotional every day but I don’t have anyone to call or talk to about it! I truly hope myself and other mums get the help they’re needed , it’s not neglect from our end !
hes now sitting on the toilet happily but still isn't doing anything. doesn't seem to matter how regularly i put him on, he still doesnt do it although the school has and is being very supportive about the matter. i hope you're having luck:) @@heartbreakwarfareass
@@raanirauthaan heya, he literally got up last week and decided to do it! He hasn’t been in nappies in the day time since, only at night for now… don’t lose hope, they will do it :) hope this helps x
No excuse. Kids should be toilet trained and it is down to parents. When I was growing up, it was unheard of to have children of school age to not be toilet trained
I’m going through same thing right now my son is always constipated and won’t sit or remember to go to toilet it has been super hard bcuz I’m a single working mom and everyone on my circle keeps saying he will eventually start to want too but I’m out of obtion doesn’t seem to get easy on that part
Same problem here but my boy has food allergy he can't have dairy which there have ruled out and possibly other things he can't eat that sets him off and waiting to be seen bye someone for autism

I’m in the same boat. Nearly 4 year old holds his wee 12 hours from fear of using the toilet. I’m at my wits end
Same… I don't understand anything. What should I do?

Same problem here with my 4 year old. Now no school will take him until he is fully trained. It is so frustrating and have run out of ideas.
Thats whay im dealing with too ! Its so frustrating
@@laurenboucher5289 Hang in there! I keep telling myself and my wife, "patience"
Dealing with this too. We’re so exhausted

Consistency is key but you have to stick to it.

So true. This woman has chopped and changed methods too often, and not persevered.
She basically just said she didn't train her and gave up though? What?

How did her prem finally get potty trained, as my prem is the same, he just won't, we have even tried to make it a game, but nothing is working.
I’m having the same issue nothing works

try giving more veggies and less carryout
Funny. This doesn't happen with kids who go to daycare.
Kids learn by example. Its always a parents failure. Do better.
My 4 yo kid is healthy and goes to daycare since two years, yet he refuses to go to the toilet because he just doesn’t want to …
