Yep, this is an extended cut that's on the DVD's. Since it was the version I originally saw on Netflix and the one I'm used to, I didn't think to mention that.
It totally changes the meaning of the episode. Btw I love your reviews of Red Dwarf. I was born in 1991 and my parents were pretty liberal with what we watched. I'm so glad we taped these because they spawned my love of sci-fi way more than star wars ever could. Great reviews 👍
Yup...I saw the version where he is STOMPED by his crewmates...and that's the end...I didn't see ANYTHING like this where he survives with a load of CURRY!
I always loved the amount of detail in the grassy knoll scene, the coca cola bottle (which they found to have been recently discarded with no-one there anymore), there were also witness accounts of a policeman seen on the grassy knoll, and bullet forensics showed it to be fired from an M16 assault rifle, standard issue for military/police/government officers which sparked more suspicion of an inside job.
For the "move in time and space" thing, I always assumed that the future versions of themselves found away to modify it to move in space as well as time. When the timelines reset the modified version of the time drive ended up on the derelict, in an anomaly rather like the increased space in Starbug.
The version of this that I grew up with, had a laughter track, never mentioned the dead guy (Eric’s) name, the scene with the “chicken” was much shorter and the episode ended with everyone beating up Lister. Odd, but nice to see an alternative cut :)
The DVD has three versions of this episode: as aired, with laugh track, Extended with laugh track where it happens, and Extended no laugh track at all.
The extra scenes are from the DVD/Bluray release and weren't broadcast originally, for those wondering. The original ending involved everyone beating up Lister in Dallas after his "I forgot to ask him if there's any curry houses in Dallas!" line. There were a few other scenes here and there as well. It pretty much boils down to they couldn't fit it all in, and there's a few episodes like that on the home releases. So if you're like me and got "bootleg" recordings of the show because Red Dwarf lost its US distributor for several years when this series came out or if you only watched the broadcast versions, you might be confused as well. The lines on Kryten's face may be a result of the filming process. Around this time, the BBC loved to shoot everything on HD video (which was brand new then) and apply filters to make it look like it was shot on film. This meant that all the production processes had to change because of the affect the filters had on color and lighting. If you want to see the difference, check out the BBC series for Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere as they shot and lit the series for that process, but ended up not doing it. It's why everything in that series looks so "odd". Oh, and there were four people who absolutely hated not filming in front of a live audience: Chris Barrie, Craig Charles, Danny John-Jules, and Robert Llewellyn. So much so that they only agreed to come back for Series VIII if they could shoot mostly in front of a live audience because they said it led to a different energy and messed with the comedic timing of their performances to not have the audience there.
"Can we get outta here please? I badly need to floss a piece of roasted dead person out of my teeth." That, and lister getting stomped behind the fence by his mates is one of the funniest comedy moments ever broadcast on British TV, Kryten's enthusiastic and ruthless use of a truncheon during a gang beating of his best friend was disturbingly hilarious.
The episode contradicts itself: by killing their past selves, the older crew die because they're no longer able to grow into that crew, so the original crew come back to life because they couldn't have been killed by their older selves. Kennedy assassinates his younger self, by which he also ceases to exist as he won't grow into that older self who comes back to assassinate his younger self, who should therefore still be alive, except that he isn't. The DVD narration says that they contacted the Dallas TV station before this episode aired, to give them a heads-up about the plot: apparently the only complaint that came in from the Dallas audience related o the cannibalism scene.
It's nice to finally know the reasoning behind the lack of a laugh-track for some of these episodes. Personally, I think there's something just a bit off about them, though. This was a show designed to include a laugh track, with performers who are used to that kind of comic timing. Compare to other sitcoms with no laugh track such as "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," or "Arrested Development." Their timing tends to be much snappier, so we much more readily accept the lack of a laugh track. But here, when you take it away, it seems like there's just an awkward pause where the laughter is supposed to go and it doesn't feel natural.
honestly the is my 2nd favourite episode behind gunmen of the apocalypse because the i love what kryten does without his guilt chip and then exploring what would of happened if kennedy didnt die and then the scene when they ate erick whitewas incredible
1:21 Yeah, though the style of American Lister's message with him sitting in a chair and with video borders also inspired Red Dwarf Smeg Ups VHS tapes. These came out during the 4 year hiatus between Series 6 and 7 and were presented by Robert Llewellyn in character as Kryten.
I think the change in tone and execution here is quite something, and the parts with JFK at the end elevate it to feeling like Quantum Leap. Red Dwarf was always amazing, but as mainly a sitcom with some bits of drama, here it turned into something else. This was very deliberate, by Doug, as he wanted to do Red Dwarf: The Movie, and used Series 7 as a way into that, by acclimatising fans to a more cinematic feel, inc more drama, no laugh track, and the use of a Filmisation filter over the video footage. Funnily enough, I think it makes it feel like what would have occurred if NBC had just funded Series 6 onwards, instead of doing a remake. As it happened, the fans didn't react well to these changes, complaining about the change in look, and lack of a laugh track, and normal service was resumed from Series 8. Sadly, Red Dwarf: The Movie didn't happen, although not because of a lack of trying. Doug has written scripts for it, but couldn't raise the finance as companies never though the scripts were good enough. The attempts at a significant budget also seemed hindered by concern over the brand being not well known enough in certain countries, along with the actors.
It’s a bit weird that Rimmer is being the sensible (relatively anyway) one - I guess because Kryten’s behaviour protocol has been disabled and Lister is being pretty reckless
Y'know, watching this slightly more dramatic Red Dwarf with no laugh track... kinda feels like a precursor to _The Orville_ ? Anyone else get that vibe?
Whenever Red Dwarf features time travel, they pretty much have to put in an explanation of why they don't use it to return home to Earth of 3 million years ago. Stasis Leak, Timeslides, Out of Time and some later episodes did this pretty well, and Tikka to Ride ... didn't. Pretty great episode otherwise though. Almost definitely the best episode in the incredibly divisive Series 7, even if I do have an unreasonably soft spot for "Blue". :P
The huge starbug interior sets were shot at a wind tunnel facility that they got permission to film in. I always thought it was silly that Starbug was supposedly so big inside during this season. Its not a Tardis!
You know, I just realised that this episode is basically Red Dwarf's take on City Of The Edge of Forever, from the original Star Trek. They futz with the past, destroy the future so bad that their ship doesn't even exist anymore, and have to go back and fix it by causing the death of a basically good person. I mean there's less romance and more fart jokes and cannibalism, but it's still basically the same story.
Oddly enough, Roddenberry pitched a plot similar to this episode's for the second movie. Spock ends up having to kill Kennedy with a phaser to restore history. This, apparently, is what got him banned from producing any more Trek movies.
I took the time drive being able to take them to different places as well as times was a result of the time lines merging; the same reason why starbug got bigger.
Yay! From what I recall when I saw both "out of time" and this episode, Lister seems out or character between the two in regards to using the time drive... series 7 has some gems later on, but it did start as a bumpy ride.
That's funny, I'm kind of the opposite--I feel like it starts off really strong, but there are one or two episodes later on that I don't really care for. As I recall, anyway. Good point about Lister, tho--I didn't really think to compare his attitude in this episode to the previous one, for some reason.
What saddens me about this series is that they didn't have a studio audience and used the excuse of "more elaborate sets". Come on! Red Dwarf wasn't *about* elaborate sets, it's about being funny. The series suffered and I think this was when Rob Grant left. Still funny from time to time, but overall, it just lost the funniness but gained better sets and effects. Sadly, this was the wrong way around.
I've got the original version of this pre-edit and it's a fave ep of mine, Pulling the laugh track and altering some scenes gives the ep a kinda weird vibe tbh.
I've been binge-watching your RD vids, you have a great voice and your comments are charming. Now!, Red dwarf NEEDS a studio audience.. The sets work FOR the comedy, you don't neuter comedy for sets..., Also I feel you're biased against Kryten, he's my favourite, the servile leader with a Jesus-like humility and faith in humanity. And sometimes, he's joint funniest with Rimmer, he's got so much more depth than a Data or a c3po. I shall continue to binge..
Thanks, glad you like the videos. I have to argue one point, tho--I definitely have no bias against Kryten. I like him as much as anyone, but with any character you care about, it's totally fair to be bothered by it when that character is badly written like he is in Season 7.
Dough explains that the series from then on, always had one eye on the movie and they were working towards that with the look and the length of stories.
The Ines without a laugh track are extended versions. The shorter broadcast versions do have a laugh track. As for continuity the rule with this show is continuity is fine but don't let it get it in the way of a good story or joke.
WOAH, wait! This isn't the Tikka to Ride I recall!! Where the fuck did all those extra scenes at the end come from??? We never saw them in the UK, or I didn't.
I never liked the Extended version. The original version ends when they beat up Lister and it just had a better pace. The extended ending just drags it out a bit too much and over explains
I guess I can see how it could drag a little, but I like Rimmer's moment of bad-assness when he tricks Lister, especially after how many pranks Lister has pulled on him.
I'm like 139. Fans here in Canada too. Read some of the books as well. Was at a BBQ a couple months ago with old friends and RD was one of the topics that came up.
I, too, am a fan of this show. It never ceases to amaze and make me laugh. And thank you, Cyborcat, for allowing me to remember the best show in the UK
So JMC didn't exsist, so that means that Rimmer, should not be around, Kryten not built (That is if DivaDroid is still going to go ahead) and Cat shouldn't be as he is and the time drive should of disapeared.
I’ve heard the term ‘temporal orphan’ used in a sci-fo novel dealing with time travel. The idea being that they come from an entirely different timeline where they do exist, and are traveling to a timeline where they’re an ‘alien’ organism for want of a better term.
Fascinating. I never saw the scenes where they talk about JFK over the roast human and neither have I seen Lister teleport the curries and Rimmer separating starbug. I saw season 7 on DVD and the DVD set I had did have a laugh track but less scenes so I think maybe it's the remastered version that had the laugh track cut out.
This is also the first series after the departure of co-creator/writer Rob Grant, as he wanted to no longer wanted to continue after series 6. Its pretty crazy this season happened with a co-creator leaving, Chris Barrie leaving, getting rid of the audience and changing the show making it more 'film' like. Considering all that, the season isn't all that bad. Love your red dwarf blogs, can't wait to see your thoughts on 10, 11 and 12 and back to earth special :)
How many versions of this episode were made? Because my DVD version has a laugh track and the name of the dead man (Eric White) is never mensioned, among other things.
Two versions, one 29 minutes, and one extended to around 40 minutes. Series 7 was not filmed in front of a studio audience, so there was no laugh track originally. However, the series was shown to Red Dwarf fans in a cinema screening, and the reaction was taped. The BBC decides which version, laugh track or no laugh track to release.
Wow this is my favourite episode but this cut is very different from the one I had. For a start they never mention the name of the man they eat or mention him again for the rest of the episode. Also on the version I had it ends with them beating up lister and the stuff after that isn't in the episode at all. And there was an audience reaction.
Yeah, I was watching these on Netflix which had extended cuts for some of the episodes, and that was the only way I'd seen it so I didn't know there were added scenes at the time.
Yay more RD vlogs! I wish Identity Within was actually made but that would have meant that Can of Worms would have never happened. have you seen Cured (the first RDXII episode) yet? If so did u like it anyone?? also if you live outside of the UK then you can watch it on BritBox. I’ve seen the second one, Siliconia, and they’re both amazing! Also thanks great video :)
Eh, I didn't care for Can of Worms anyway, so I would have preferred Identity Within =P Haven't seen the new episodes yet, but I'm gonna try to get ahold of them soon.
Why does this have two different time travel rules in the same episode it starts of being more Back to the futurey where its possible to change the past . But the final scene where Lister figures out the curry went missing is because his future self took it seems to follow Bill and Ted rules more where all time travel is predestined and the presence and actions of the time traveler were always part of history you can't have it both ways
I'm surprised you didn't mention one of the reasons behind the tone of the show changing to comedy-drama being due to one of the head writers leaving (or maybe you did in the last episode, sorry). Red Dwarf never really got the sitcom feel back until series X. I think the last two series are doing a good job of balancing the tone but Series 7 is definitely my least favourite, probably mostly for what happens next episode (even though I do love Clipper itself).
It was also because Doug wanted to do Red Dwarf: The Movie, and Series 7 was a lead-in to that with audiences, to get them used to it, in having more drama, no laugh track, and also using a Filmization filter on the video footage to make it look more cinematic. There were complaints from fans about the change in look, so the filter was removed from later screenings, and never used on other series.
Just like Star Wars ended with Return Of The Jedi, Red Dwarf ended with series 6. Speaking of which, the sound effect at 5:33 sounds an awful lot like the carbon freezing chamber.
I really didn’t like season seven. Eight was refreshingly better. I wonder if the writing staff was the same. The X files also jumped the shark when they did a kennedy episode
I guess so. The reason it looked like a napkin to me was that it was rolled up in a plastic bag, and he doesn't really take any bites out of it or anything. But I'm not that familiar with Indian food, so I'll take your word on it.
Thinking of Red Dwarf USA: what are the stereotypical takeaway habits of Americans? Like Indian takeaway is a big thing here, so I can't imagine what an American Lister would be obsessed with. Perhaps Chinese food?
I was gonna say "Chinese food". It's almost a cliche' to hear a character say "Let's get Chinese takeout" and then proceed to eat it out of the carton with chopsticks.
I'm honestly torn. On the one hand, this is my favorite take on the Kennedy Assassination ("It'll drive the conspiracy nuts crazy, but they'll never figure it out.") On the other... is it... right for a British Sci-fi comedy to poke fun at an American tragedy? Or am I just overthinking things?
For what it's worth--and take this with a grain of salt, because I haven't seen the episode in awhile so I could be remembering wrong--I don't think any of the humor is really at JFK's expense, it's all about the situation surrounding him. If anything, they portray him in a pretty sympathetic light.
I think one reason why I like your series is that continuity errors that would, in most reviews of nerd media, be cause for a five-minute rant get pointed out and dismissed with an "oh well." Ah, perspective and sanity - entirely too rare things to find on the Internet. ;)
Part of it is because it's a comedy and I feel like that's the main focus of the show. There are some continuity errors that bug me, but yah ... I still generally just try to accept them and move on.
Cyborcat I can overlook continuity errors if the episode is still funny. It’d probably explain why I’m enjoying the Dave episodes but 3 episodes into Series 7 is either a slog or annoying (Kryten...)
Season 7 nearly never happened due to Craig Charles facing charges of involvement in the gang rape of a woman. Eventually the charges were dismissed and the BBC were able to pick-up the show.
Chris Barrie was not happy with the show too. He hated the production process and certain management members, which meant he only made himself available for a limited amount of time, two full episodes and certain flash back clips.
The hell kinda comment is that? I’m assuming it’s meant to be a joke, but really? How is either someone actually getting raped or an innocent man being convicted better than a few seasons of tv you deem subpar?
The guy who got trampled to death in the panic was misidentified as a smoker and married, and his last meal was a salted beef sandwich with extra mayonnaise and a pickle.
I’m honestly kinda torn. Part of me wonders if a British sci-fi comedy should be making light of an American tragedy. But the rest of my finds their source of the JFK assassination hilarious. Go figure.
I always thought they didn't put a laugh track because it could have been in a poor taste to have an english audience laugh at a slapstick sketch about assassinating a US president
Why was cat disgusted by eating a human?Cats will gleefully eat humans given the chance. Its not cannibalism if its a different species. Although,he was dead before they found him,and maybe cat was just disgusted by eating carrion.
Meta-explanation: Character development as, by this point in the series, Cat's less of a "stray cat" and more of a "housecat". He's bonded with Lister and therefore doesn't see him as different anymore, the way cats will see their humans as just big cats. Most likely explanation: The joke worked better that way and, when it was being written, they still had an entire episode focused on Cat and his non-humanness.
I got the "Cat is slowly being 'domesticated'" epiphany from your videos. I've been obsessed with this show since about 1990 and I never got that before you pointed it out.
Yeah this is weird, I swear what was aired on British TV just ended with lister being jettersoned without the currys.
Yep, this is an extended cut that's on the DVD's. Since it was the version I originally saw on Netflix and the one I'm used to, I didn't think to mention that.
It totally changes the meaning of the episode.

Yup...I saw the version where he is STOMPED by his crewmates...and that's the end...I didn't see ANYTHING like this where he survives with a load of CURRY!
Cyborcat Yeah it is a bit weird that there’re two different endings. Not quite sure which one is better.
I know it's pretty off topic but does anybody know a good site to watch new series online?
“Well you’ve brought the 20th century to the brink of extinction - gum?”
The huge set is the windtunnel in Germany. Apparently the crew was banned from whistling on set because they kept doing the theme from X-Files.
iirc specifically it's Volkswagens Nardo test Facility
“I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be reborn.”
For a comedy, that’s a chilling moment
I always loved the amount of detail in the grassy knoll scene, the coca cola bottle (which they found to have been recently discarded with no-one there anymore), there were also witness accounts of a policeman seen on the grassy knoll, and bullet forensics showed it to be fired from an M16 assault rifle, standard issue for military/police/government officers which sparked more suspicion of an inside job.

My confusion is always that she has longer smegups or different BTS things than are on the DVD extras.
Thanks for making this.
Red Dwarf are definately in my top five shows I have ever seen. Very precious.
"Can we get outta here please? I badly need to floss a piece of roasted dead person out of my teeth."
That, and lister getting stomped behind the fence by his mates is one of the funniest comedy moments ever broadcast on British TV, Kryten's enthusiastic and ruthless use of a truncheon during a gang beating of his best friend was disturbingly hilarious.

This is definitely one of the best episodes. Really well done.

May I say thank you for uploading this on my birthday. Thank you so much.
Happy birthday ^.^
Thank you.
That set at 3:30 looks like part of a wind-tunnel used to test things like the aerodynamics of planes, cars etc.
It's a VW test facility.
honestly the is my 2nd favourite episode behind gunmen of the apocalypse because the i love what kryten does without his guilt chip and then exploring what would of happened if kennedy didnt die and then the scene when they ate erick whitewas incredible

Y'know, watching this slightly more dramatic Red Dwarf with no laugh track... kinda feels like a precursor to _The Orville_ ? Anyone else get that vibe?
Yep. Most of S7 had that vibe. A dramedy.
One of the most memorable episodes of Red Dwarf. Also one of my favourites.

If you watch the non-extended version of this episode it does have a laugh track. I never figured why they took it off for the extended versions.
Because it drowned out some of the dialog, due to it not being recorded live so they couldn't time it around the laughter.
So happy these are back! I was watching the beginning of the new series and your "Poor Kitty" voice popped up in pretty much every Cat scene XD
In my head I mean, your voice wasn't literally in the show lol
One of my favourite episodes.
Strange how this full version isn't in the giant photo album collection thing yet it is on netflix.
When first shown the episode ended when they beat up Lister. This is the first time I've even heard of this extra footage. Very weird.
What saddens me about this series is that they didn't have a studio audience and used the excuse of "more elaborate sets". Come on! Red Dwarf wasn't *about* elaborate sets, it's about being funny. The series suffered and I think this was when Rob Grant left.

i detest the netflix series 7 edits

Damn. Now I'm going to have to go pick up some Vindaloo.
THE nastiest snicker ever.
Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for.
Thank *you*! I've been getting a lot of nasty comments on these videos lately, so this one was refreshing ^.^
Seriously, tho. Glad you like it.
Fun fact, Doug naylor met a fan who hated the time drive changes so much he quit watching the show altogether
I think that was Ed Bye, but yeah. I thought about including that, but I know of a better place where I can reference it, so I'm saving it for that.
Alrighty then
Tikka to ride for me is very underrated and I think it is the last truly good episode
This is a cool video. Thanks
*EHEHEHEH NOTHING BAD EVER HAPPENS TO THE KENNEDYS WA-*
ey! the red dwarf vlogs are back!

thanks to you dena, i FINALLY get the joke of the title. pronounced "teeka" as in chicken tikka. cheers.
Also a play on the Beatles track that was released on November 22 1963 - the day of the assasination.
WOAH, wait! This isn't the Tikka to Ride I recall!! Where the fuck did all those extra scenes at the end come from??? We never saw them in the UK, or I didn't.
Apparently they were added later. I've only ever seen this version, so I didn't think to mention it.
Extended version was on VHS and DVD so minus the laugh track with more footage. This looks like its from this.
I never liked the Extended version. The original version ends when they beat up Lister and it just had a better pace. The extended ending just drags it out a bit too much and over explains
Yeah I also had only seen the version where it ends when they are beating up Lister
I guess I can see how it could drag a little, but I like Rimmer's moment of bad-assness when he tricks Lister, especially after how many pranks Lister has pulled on him.
Alright, I was the second person to like this video. It is good to see another Red Dwarf fan here in the states.
So Dena what do you think of Red Dwarf XII so far
Love the first episode. Haven't seen the second yet.
I was just going to ask you to post more Red Dwarf vlogs!
You're welcome XD
What is your opinion on Kennedy's accent? Do you think the actor did well with it or not?
Michael Shannon (yep, that one) nailed the Bostonian lilt, in my opinion.
so this is my fav episode I like most how much of it they dint play for lives
So JMC didn't exsist, so that means that Rimmer, should not be around, Kryten not built (That is if DivaDroid is still going to go ahead) and Cat shouldn't be as he is and the time drive should of disapeared.
Paradox hurricane - they were at the eye of the storm, and time would have eradicated them in time, if they had just left history unchanged.
I’ve heard the term ‘temporal orphan’ used in a sci-fo novel dealing with time travel. The idea being that they come from an entirely different timeline where they do exist, and are traveling to a timeline where they’re an ‘alien’ organism for want of a better term.
*explodes*
Fascinating. I never saw the scenes where they talk about JFK over the roast human and neither have I seen Lister teleport the curries and Rimmer separating starbug.
I saw season 7 on DVD and the DVD set I had did have a laugh track but less scenes so I think maybe it's the remastered version that had the laugh track cut out.
Huh, theres a bunch of changes in this to the one on Iplayer and the one i saw when iwas younger.
Guess America got a different version?
There's a pinned comment about this being the extended version of the episode, which I didn't realize at the time I made the video.
*Series 7 Ranking*
8: Duct Soup
7: Ouroborous
6: Epideme
5: Stoke me a Clipper
4: Blue
3: Beyond a Joke
2: Tikka to Ride
1: Nanarchy
Another Duct Soup fan. And Ouroboros is top Scifi.
Was wondering what I was going to watch during lunch.
This'll do :)
After watching the first two episodes of series 12 today and then this, I think it's fair to say I've had my Red Dwarf fix :)
I hear that XD
Time machine = cash!
YAY a Red Dwarf video again!
Just saw Cured. Cat is so adorable XD
2:43. What the problem with pasta?
It's not curry
The CG intro must be a wind up of Star Trek Voyager's intro.
Yeah, the time travel aspect of this episode is kind of sloppy.
I never knew there was an extra bit where Lister was stranded in Starbug's butt.
Starbutt
This is a brilliant episode, unlike Duct Soup.
I was hoping that Rimmer destroying the Timedrive was what saved them. Disappointment mode.
Rimmer could’ve still saved them. We don’t really know if the time drive would’ve been destroyed if rimmer hadn’t blasted it.
Just like Star Wars ended with Return Of The Jedi, Red Dwarf ended with series 6. Speaking of which, the sound effect at 5:33 sounds an awful lot like the carbon freezing chamber.
It didn't, but you do you.
I really didn’t like season seven. Eight was refreshingly better. I wonder if the writing staff was the same. The X files also jumped the shark when they did a kennedy episode
He wasn’t sucking curry sauce off a napkin, that was naan bread
I guess so. The reason it looked like a napkin to me was that it was rolled up in a plastic bag, and he doesn't really take any bites out of it or anything. But I'm not that familiar with Indian food, so I'll take your word on it.
And another innocent man falls to his death. Liife can be cruel and unkind.
It's actually weird because we also like Chinese food here, but we never get those nice cartons. It's always plastic tupelware boxes.
Great video dena
Thanks!
Cyborcat *_*
I'm honestly torn.
On the one hand, this is my favorite take on the Kennedy Assassination ("It'll drive the conspiracy nuts crazy, but they'll never figure it out.")
On the other... is it... right for a British Sci-fi comedy to poke fun at an American tragedy?
Or am I just overthinking things?
For what it's worth--and take this with a grain of salt, because I haven't seen the episode in awhile so I could be remembering wrong--I don't think any of the humor is really at JFK's expense, it's all about the situation surrounding him. If anything, they portray him in a pretty sympathetic light.
@@Cyborcat Hey, thanks for the response! I'll keep that advice in mind too, thanks.
No prob ^.^
I like that this episode is strangely ahead it's time in that JFK is impeached for having an affair like Bill Clinton later was.
Indian food is amazingly healthy, thanks. :)
Lister a pepper head why not try mexican food whitch he could get in 1960's Dallas.
I want giant pizza!
Go figure.
Ah, season 7! My favorite :)
I always thought they didn't put a laugh track because it could have been in a poor taste to have an english audience laugh at a slapstick sketch about assassinating a US president
No, Doug was planning to do Red Dwarf: The Movie, and wanted to get audiences used to RD with no laughing.
Yeah, both of you pretty much echo my thoughts. I plan on expanding on it in the Cat videos.
He's seen what Lister eats. :)
I got the "Cat is slowly being 'domesticated'" epiphany from your videos. I've been obsessed with this show since about 1990 and I never got that before you pointed it out.
