  • In this tutorial we will learn how to achieve a leopard print finish using a combination of airbrushing and hand painting. This technique works great for cakes, cookies and other edible mediums.
    Airbrush color: Ivory by Americolor
    Poppy Paint Colors: Black, Brown, White and Bronze Metallic
    Fondant: White Vanilla Satin Ice

    This is the best leopard print tutorial I’ve seen. Your work looks so professional. Thank you for the wonderful instruction. I’m wondering if your using the lower priced model ($60 ) Neo iwata airbrush or the more expensive model ( $160) ? Not sure which one to buy.

      Thank you for the sweet compliments! I used an iwata ninja jet compressor with the $50-ish iwata airbrush i picked up from hobby lobby. However, I also really recommend the Pegasus airbrush available from @thesugarart. It's lightweight but also a versatile dual action brush. I use both on the regular. ❤

    Hi I have just discovered your channel, two questions; have you tried Fondx? Is satin ice better than fondx?

      I think it's a matter of personal preference and your climate. While satin ice works great for me, its not for everyone. The important thing is that you condition your fondant well before use for a successful cake covering. All my best.- Jennifer
