Thanks for the video. I ordered one of these last week. Delivery expected mid April. Really looking forward to it. Will be using it with my Buttkicker too.
@clayton4115 It's great with both, but sometimes the constant feedback gets annoying. You need to spend a fair bit of time tweaking the sensitivity. Overall, it's definitely worth it.
I have seen a few added bits & bobs Mark{The Sim Hanger} also talked about VR headsets & that looks like the job, for sure. Very well demonstrated & I want one. Slainte, Con PS Any idea why my PMDG planes will not install on my pc. I bought one about 3 months ago & have never got it on the simulator yet but both plane types have worked fine in the past. Am I downloading from the site correctly to my downloads or through the one drive which is set to default also the installer refuses to appear anymore after hitting Run Administrator? Any Ideas contact me, please.
@@AusFlightSimmer Yes but no message yet. I may have to reboot the pc as been years since I last got it done & hopefully fixes things. I was also not allowed into the store in the Simulator, Strange. Thanks for your reply. Appreciate it, Buddy
Convinced me to buy one buddy, thanks for that. Little question, from where did you tàake off. Really nice place and would like to see that by myself. Thanks again
Great review but isn’t the buttkicker give you all the ruble effects etc ? As I have one and it’s fantastic just wondering what this would add to that ?
I used to have a Buttkicker, before I moved over to the Jetpad. Which is identical to this product. Both provide very similar experiences BUT the haptic seat is significantly quieter. I found the Buttkicker used to shake everything downstairs which really annoyed the wife. If you’re happy with the Buttkicker then stick with it. IF you’re looking for a quieter or more family friendly option then look at one of these
I have a few questions, because the motors have to 'spool' up they are not as good with cars as the U-Shake6 which can react faster and does not need spooling. But I am wondering if the slight slowness compared to the U-Shake6 (more that double the price) is not so noticeable with flight simming? Most things don't happen instantly and unfolds more gradually? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Ok so it’s basically a copy of the Jetpad that came out years ago. Not that I’m knocking that concept, the Jetpad is one of the best additions I ever made to my flight sim cockpit. So it’s nice to have another company making them. Now the big question is whether or not it works with the simshaker for aviators / simshaker wheels software as that has amazing effects for both driving and flight sims. The bright side is it does seem to be about £100 cheaper than buying a Jetpad direct.
Fantastic review I have added air bladders to my jet pad it really enhances the feel in vr instead of just having electric motors Regards Dave from Scotland Here’s a wee link the servo board is now in a shock proof case behind the bottom of the seat ua-cam.com/video/g4R7hXvzsJQ/v-deo.html
we know what it is BUT how the hell do we use it with msfs2020 how about showing us how to USE the dam thing .... i have had mine for 3 months and cant get it to work!!!!
Tony I mention in the video how to get it to work with Microsoft Flight Simulator and covered an issue that some people may get when setting it up. Might be worth watching the vid a gain. Hope it works out.
How come Amazon only sell this for Xbox? Will this work with PC if I purchase it? Have they update their software yet? A lot of users said it is still in beta.
Instantly thought Talladega Nights, Molly Shannon scene… “I love it when those cars.. wiz.. by. Can feel the motor running up my leg!”
I had an Aura Interactive cushion in the 90s. Had 1 transducer in a back cushion with a separate little amp.
Who else misses Force Feedback Throttles and Yolk?
Sure do.
Definitely. I did have the MS Force Feedback joystick. But binned it
not thinking it would work with the new PC hardware.

I have a Brunner Force Feedback yoke and can't recommend it highly enough! It's amazing.
YES! I even forgot we used to have them…😮
Thanks for the video. I ordered one of these last week. Delivery expected mid April. Really looking forward to it. Will be using it with my Buttkicker too.
Hope you enjoy it! Would love to see some photos of the new cockpit setup once you have settled in with it.
@@AusFlightSimmer will do. 👍🏻
Awesome vid Shane, definitely now gonna buy one!
Its a lot of fun.
Got one this Christmas. Reall like it. Adds more imersion to my gaming, and that's a real good thing!!
I've been wanting to get one..Now I am after watching your video..Thanks Aus.
Glad I could help
Thanks great video - Got one on order, I'm looking forward to comparing it with my butkicker, who knows might have them both on at the same time 😲
Wow, well that would be interesting, both at the same time. Would love to know how that works out.
How are you enjoying it ?
@clayton4115 It's great with both, but sometimes the constant feedback gets annoying. You need to spend a fair bit of time tweaking the sensitivity. Overall, it's definitely worth it.
Should also add that if your in VR it makes a massive difference for emersion

Not sure why that wouldn't work. Have you considered contacting PMDG?

Yes, I have been told it works with Sim Shaker. However I haven't tried it.

How is this with an airliner such as 737 or A320? Any point in having this product?
Great review Aus Flight!!!!
Thanks for watching
Will this pad work on my Zibo X-plane11 Boeing 737-800 aircraft and if so, where can I purchase one. I live in the USA. Thanks!
That is pretty cool!
Thank you Mrs TP.
very nice chair addon :)
Thanks! 😁 Yep its just easy.
Great review but no link to your GA profile mate? All I can see is "🔥🔥🔥 Basic HF8 Profile:" and then the Timestamps underneath?
Updated
Can you control this with Sim racing studios?
Looks pretty cool.
Yes, something different.
Cool Video, do you still use this?
Yeah I still have it :)
Anyone try this for MSFS2022 helicopters? Can you feel the skids touch?
This looks sick ngl
Thank you
I am trying to make a decision between this pad and the SRS Ushake 6. Do you have any thoughts on the two?
Hi Amanda, I have only used the HF8 - So can't really comment on the SRs. Sorry.
Man Big Jacko needs one of these :D
Might have to try it on my Xbox
Yep, works on all sorts of stuff.
Now we can really fly by the seat of our pants.
Good review Aus
Glad you enjoyed it
Is there any yokes or joysticks with haptic feedback?
thats awesome
Congrats on the new Wings!!!!
Thanks Shane, going to check my bank account
Its a lot of fun.
How to download your profiles? can't access it from discord link above, channel can't be found.
You will need to join the discord.
I've heard people say it's far too subtle
I did opened it once I was in the cockpit but doesn’t work still :(
Charles. Check out this video and it will help you out, watch all the way to the end. ua-cam.com/video/Z05HZfE2SAE/v-deo.html
I know this is a silly question but can this work in X Plane 12?
Nevermind, just checked. it's compatible with MSFS and Xplane 11 ( might do 12 )
Not 100%, but you would think so.
If this had a DCS profile I'd buy one today
You can use other software and it should work. I believe its called sim shaker for aviators.
We need hapic feedback HOTAS.
That pad is working worse than my massage seat.
Yeah just don't use their Software you will only feel rumbles use sim shakers for aviators the difference is massive.
What is sim shakes for aviators?
Overkill
Your boring
Fantastic review
I have added air bladders to my jet pad it really enhances the feel in vr instead of just having electric motors

I find this chair pad to be extremely uncomfortable in the buttocks ....I'd recommend ordering a 2nd tush if you decide to purchase one.
