It proves one thing, when you become the best of the best in only one thing you can dominate most of the others. Look at Adam, he is the god of the snake shot !!!
@@flowra_shop I'm sure he will reply to you over mail. You could try Instagram DM too. :) Don't be afraid to pursue him on the world tour - I can confirm that he's just as friendly IRL as he seems on video.
Its basically a gamble, most pros would know its a snake shot, and could possibly read the spin as well, and if they do, they'll just smash it so hard that you wont stand a chance. If they cannot read the spin, they will stand right in front of the ball, so that they can reach the ball whichever way it goes. Im not a pro i just find this reasonable
I respect the shot so much more since I started trying to do it. He really has top notch control of the snake shot.
The tequniche is simple enough. It’s getting that much spin on it that’s challenginf
Yes. To do it effectively consistently would take loads of practice. Maybe he secretly blows it a lot but doesn't show us that, who knows.

Am I really slow, or is this move rarely used in pro table tennis matches? If so, why?

Not as dramatic as these but Waldner did one against Yan Sen at the 1997 Worlds, just enough to force an error
It's a high risk shot. Most top players can read the spin and they will punish you for it with a deadly return.
Where is my request comment in hugo Calderon video backflip and many more
