  • It’s over 5 years ago since the ‘4 Killer Serves’ video graced the internet and so I thought it’d be a good time to revamp the video, update the content and recreate it with some more detail.
    So, here it is:
    The Kicker
    Fast Serve (Down the Line)
    Super Wide Sidespin Serve
    The Ghost Serve
    The video is around 10 minutes longer than the original, with some extra detail and a number of different angles too. So, be sure to watch and pick up on those additional teaching points.

    I have great results using that super wide serve. I also do the opposite side using the reverse pendulum serve with equally awesome effects.

    Nice as usual. It is a shame in Table tennis each element takes months and even years of practice. When I practice these, I film myself, then watch, then cry, then practice again, then cry again, until the serves look more or less good to at least the eye.... Cheers, Craig, I can't wait to be back to my table to test/try these today. 🙃

    Hey Craig, great video as always! As a lefty I had an idea for a video for you to consider- to look specifically for the serve/return tactics in lefty/righty match up as I feel these may differ quite a lot from usual right/right or left/left matches. What do you think?

    "sometimes you dont have to look... " ~ take two hahaha :D, i believe the harderst to return one is the ghost serve, especially on the third bounce is already on your table, serve it low. thanks always sir!

      More like, take 10😂

    • @jaggi6040
      @jaggi6040 4 дні тому

      The hardest serve to return for me would be the one which gets me off guard .. even if it's a ghost server we can just push it short just over the net 😁😁

    • @U2too
      @U2too 4 дні тому

      @@jaggi6040 well...if you are fast... you should always keep a good distance between you and the table...so you get few milliseconds to respond to those tricky serves. I've not seen any type of ghost serves used by professional players. It is risky and can be easily backfired.

    I'm watching this for the 3rd time and I just noticed what you say and what you do doesn't quite line up on the bat angle. From the side view your bat actually gets very close to vertical on the point of contact. @TheTableTennisServiceGuy
