May Bowie rest in peace. Such a wonderful lady who made us jump up in excitement...
Rip young lady RIH.
Tori Bowie... great loss indeed. Miss seeing her these days.
@@sharonposton8784such a sad loss.still can't believe it
The way Bowie just separated was so amazing! Sleep in peace beautiful queen! You inspired so many! You will be missed!
Tori Bowie will be missed by us. What a great race! Who watched this video more than 10 times?
Tori Bowie was a gorgeous runner. She had such a smooth, flowing stride. I fell in love with her in 2016, but here, she just owns the track when she kicks into gear. RIP, Gorgeous Angel. ---------MJL, 76 y/o
yes yes yes 👍🏽
Rest in peace Tori Bowie
Watching this race and still can’t believe Tori Bowie passed away today. She was so young and talented
RIP 🕊️💔
RIP TORI 😢😢😢🕊🕊
Torie Bowie was indeed a very great rare track athlete,.
Rest on Torie!!
I see Allyson Felix . . . I click. The GOAT !!!
Allyson is THAT BEAST on the backstretch since WC 2007 BELIEVE THAT!!!!!
Tori shall be missed
Announcer: "Great Britain is on her tail"
Tori Bowie: "And I took that personally"
Correction: "The British team are on a charge!!"
R.I. P Tori Bowie. You will be greatly missed.
R.I.P Torry Bowie ❤
It was a great show down ❤
Rest in Peace Tori Bowie! So long! 🙏
Fly high Torie.
Your were absolutely stunning.
A pleasure to watch.
Great American athlete.
Allyson Felix has to be the greatest second leg ever. GOAT status.
Yes. Madison to Felix to Knight to Jeter. GOAT.
@@dlbutler That WR quartet in 2012 was phenomenal .
While I am relieved that the US won this relay, the last exchange was far from being a work of art. It took that bloody long to get the baton into the hand of the anchor lane. I was really a bit worried.
@@dezziliodevellini9533 it was definitely scary close
Yes. She is the best second leg ever. GOAT! Also the way she runs, poetry in motion.😊
Rest in peace Torie Bowie. 🙏🏾🕊
I think Tori Bowie was still accelerating when she crossed the line. She was absolutely flying.
LOVE her!!!
No she wasnt, she just deaccelerated less than the rest of the field, they usually stop accelerating after 60m (or 70m if your name is Usain)
@@lex3374 You're right. The GB runner was slowing so it gave that illusion.
@@thenewlc dont worry, its a very comon mistake, its just that i do athletics myself, so you get to know some insider stuff :)
@@lex3374 Isn't Fred Kerlee known for somehow accelerating in the last 20m? He and Usain Bolt are outliers.
First off Tori is beautiful! Secondly her stride and her strength in her run is EVERYTHING!!! She’s a force to be reckoned with
What happened to her though? she doesn't seem to be going to Tokyo at all. Wasnt at any of the events of the US trials.
@@ebukaobieri Injuries and problems with her training group
@@An-eb8uk Thats a damn shame. Shows just how tough the US TAF treats its athletes.
Any other country outside Jamaica and she would have had way more coverage, support and opportunities with her talent.
At a glance u would think that she is the sister to beautiful Gwen Torrence
😢And now today’s sad news…
Announcer: "Torie Bowie looks back for the baton Great Britain is on her tail"
Torie Bowie: " That ain't no problem, that ain't no problem" lmao
She is really a black Goddes flying at the end
Ruqayyah R went into overdrive
You are very funny hahahaa hahaha
My

My heart every time i see miss bowie😢. I cant believe she is now in heaven.
Runners take note. Torie Bowie shows how runners are suppose to continue running thru the tape/ finish line at full speed.
Tori just make my heart skip a beat.Natural beauty
That skin...mmm
Real Chocolate!!
Went down a rabbit-hole of GB athletics videos. Just realized, the last was against the US team with Tori Bowie. Superb athlete, beautiful woman and great person. I pray you are at peace with your child Tori. You both deserved so much better.
GBR: Ooh we're going to win... we're going to win!
Torie Bowie (USA): Uhmm... you tried it!
Dey definitely did try it tho lmao
GRB had to humble herself 😭
Will miss Torie. One thing about Torie laser focused and will give it her all. ❤ Her contributions are huge and she will always be remembered. A legend. 🙌🏾
Allyson Felix is simply awesome. Great talent and a great performer over the years.
Tori was like "You thought you had a chance, you were wrong"
Felix is 33 and will be 34 in November and a mum. Shelly is 32 and will be 33 this year and a mum. Both these women can win their final gold in 2020 I hope.
Shelly more likely . She is way faster than before
A. Felix I doubt it...surely she wont beat Shaunee Miller in 200 & 400...this is my opinion...btw..her stars shined for many years already...
@@kahlilcalvo9610 Never count out a champion.
Fraser Pryce might win the 100m race while Felix might win the 4x400 and 4x100m relay.
Eugene 2021 sounds better to me.
I love watching the US team races
7:36 GBR "MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE"
USA "You should've got the turbos"
That second leg was STACKED!
Felix: USA
Ahye: TTO
Mayer: GER
Schippers: NED
Thats we e the race is really won
@Joyce Williams I also noticed that team coaches are keen on the 2nd leg of every 4x100m relay races, seems that where the tempo of the races are dictated....I rarely see Ahye (TTO), Schippers (NED), Allyson (USA), Asher-Smith(GBR), Elaine(JAM) missing the 2nd leg...........
In this race Allyson Felix set the all time fastest womens split at 9.05... Bowie on anchor did 9.22
A. Felix....the sprinting cheetah. Very impressive second leg.for the USA.
@@amedunn9921 where did you get the info
Bowie so relaxed in slow mo, once she got in stride it was over
Allyson Felix!!!
#LEGEND
Best female athlete of all time
She wasn’t even fast in this race lol
Bowie at the final leg is a fantastic picture in slow motion...black Goddes very calm and beautifull absolutely flying ...oh my God....never seen picture like that
OMG, does Tori Bowie have a beautiful stride or what!
indeed
ˊˊ
@JagBrit Lovely *Black* Skin
Luv that adjustment of her short shorts after she crossed line!!
@JagBrit u.c 1
Torie Bowie's strides are definitely long. She ran that last race effortlessly.
RIP Torie Bowie.... gone too soon :(
If Tori wasn’t actually the fastest on the field, that changeover would have messed her up. She gassed up only after she had fully secured the baton. Risky move if you’re not the absolute fastest. What a flex. Love Tori Bowie!
Oh plus, the changeover isn’t Tori’s fault as she didn’t practice enough with the team. She joined only after the semis.
The last leg for the U.S. can run!!! 💪🏽
@JagBrit Yeah,that's the one !
@@dimensionexo. She's taken. We got married last night in a dream I had.....lol
@@ConsciousFBA 😼.
That last exchange for USA had me on the edge...
USA's Bowie was like "GIRL BYE" to the British girl.

Bowie so beautiful so calm ,RIP Torie Bowie 💔💔😭
That gear shift at 10:36 was vicious, she knew she had to make up for that look back
USA wins the GOLD.
Allyson Felix and Torie Bowie have BEAUTIFUL strides like cheetahs. They make US proud. USA!
My father told me in 1963: "the amies are too lazy to train the changes."
Tori Bowie’d makes a great coach
Equating Black athletes to animals? Definitely racist
Damn, Bowie is perfection, THAT is a anchor!!!
Felix is so gifted 🥺, she can do a 100, 200, 400 and 800. What a woman 💪
Simply great she is.
So amazing. Simply great.
Tori just short of growing wings, simply flying lovely to watch
That was freaking beautiful
She is Torie and she Bowie by striding her speed. She messes up the changeover but she flew in her track, what a wonderful recovery. As you know Queen Allyson wow ❗
Tori is soooo beautiful! And watching her run is like watching a gazelle...
❤
Tori bowie was such amazing 😚
I'm just in love with the American Sprinters. I admire Tori Bowie too, but Allyson Felix is my girl
My 2 favorite American lady cheetahs too 👍
The kick on that last American...wow.
Amazing.
Great Britain is STUNNING!!! 🔥🥰😍 Gorgeous overload.
Tori Boowie is like the seabiscuit the horse 🐎 wait for the competition to get closer and leave them in the dust with a blazing speed .
Bowie is. a world class sprinter. No runner can overtake her if she gets the batton first. She's another sprinting cheetah from USA.
Dream Champions! United States Of America - Jamaica.
All these beautiful black women ran so gracefully with lots of speed, but Tori Bowie was an amazing anchor runner. RIH ❤️🙏🏽
I look for Tori Bowie to regain her form in 2021.. Whatever personal drama that was going on in her life, I hope is behind her and she can bounce back to her 2017 form.
Fly high 😢❤
ALL PARTICIPANTS IS SUPER ENERGY FULL, PRACTICE FULL, TECHNICAL FULL, STAMINA FULL, POWERFUL AND STRONG.............
BUT WINNERS IS EXTRAORDINARY .....
This was a great race! The second, third and anchor for the USA ..WOW!!!
Great run by ALL the athletes.. They all ran well. Congrats to USA. But superb performance by ALL !!!
Can you imagine the crowds roar that waves across the city when the runners take off? People on the other side of town knew that race was going! 🎉🎊✨🌟📣
I really enjoy Katharine Merry’s commentary. She’s class. Also part of that iconic 400m race at the Sydney 2000 Olympics where she snagged bronze by the way. Multiple thumbs up from me 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽.
One day i’d really like to meet Allyson.
I like Bowie naturally.....!!! She just has a flexible body tone👏🔝
10:35 - Man that scene is wonderful, how can she run so relaxed
My idol !! Allyson Felix
That last change over (USA) deffo wasn’t in the plan but I feel like sometimes the adrenaline from everything can throw it out the window haha. Regardless Torie put in another gear and went flying 👏🏿🔥🔥
I'm so proud and happy for Sashalee, I know her from GC Foster College. She did a nice job anchoring the Jamaicans, even though it wasn't a good pass she still managed to get played her part👍👍👍🤸
Torie Bowie is a dark chocolate goddess 😍 .. I hope she'll be on Team USA in Tokyo 2020
She is very beautiful
i hope so!
She's a drama queen...a difficult person to get used to I'm told. The situation regarding her getting locked out of her athletic training village apartment because of past due bills and non-payments and her making a scene about it is a case in point.
@@fredball8240 - who cares about all that gossip girl stuff? Tori is a world class athlete and gold medal contender, I only care about her performances on the track 🏅
@@fredball8240 --How many women do you know who are NOT drama queens?
Allyson Felix ... 😍❤️❤️💕💕
Tori looks pissed with the 3rd leg for not equalling her phase and handing the baton to her early. US almost disqualified again fo a shaky baton pass. But it was Tori’s year being the 100m gold champ and fastest time of that year to power away.
The time that Tori ran to win the 100m final was not the fastest time of that year. Elaine ran (jogged practically) that time in the semifinals earlier. Also, Elaine had ran 10.70 at the Jamaican trials earlier in the year.
Tori Bowie was my favorite female track athletes
Tori's top end speed is sooooo ridiculously fast. If she can just sort out her starts, she'd legit be down in the 10.6 range. She fine as hell too 😜
Weghweh Hwewehwhe juiced
Gardner beat her once or twice..so as Ta Lou
I always said her start is real slow but top end real fast just like her training teammate Noah Lyles
Don't think so. You can't just assume that if she had a better start her finish would be just as good. They have a finite amount of resources and if more is used at the beginning, the end suffers. That's like saying if SAFP had a better finish, she would be a 10.5 runner. It doesn't work like that!
@@RKRKRK78 I totally agree
Brilliant run U.S Womens. That last leg didn't stand a chance against Torie ✊🏽.
Tori reminds me of Gwen Torrance which was a great sprinter, when I was a boy.
I meant Torie Bowie!
The slowing down at the last batton change over prevented US team from breaking the world record. What a miss! Bowie, Allyson and Akinosun were fantastic.
The British team have come a long way
Omg.God bless you all please never give up
Everyone talking about Bowie, but Felix ran the fastest 100m leg of any woman in history at 9.05
If that's true, AF is the greatest woman sprinter the world has ever known. We must give it to her. Undoubtedly and uncontroversially she's currently the best
That Alyson Felix ran 100m leg at 9.05sec is totally amazing, incredible and legendary. She should be crowned the greatest on track athletics today.
That doesn't sound possible. Where did you hear this?
@@archiewoosung5062 Unlike a standard 100m race, the second, third and fourth legs of the 4x100 have a running start, so their times are faster than a standard 100m sprint.
I ❤ Bowie
Damn, anchor leg kept her cool and powered away!!
USA 🇺🇸 takes the Gold!! Again!!! Congratulations team way to go!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I can remember when there was a mess up in the olympics, where the line judge thought that the USA team stepped on the line in the 4x100 relay finals.
A day later, they
re-run the finals.
But they gave the USA team lane 1
I thought..this is gonna be hard for them to run in that lane.
The USA team was out to win, no matter what lane they were in. Tori was the anchor, and she brought it home sweet.
I loved the way Tori run, even when she was running for LSU.
Would’ve been another world record if the exchanges were smoother! 🇺🇸
And the hair adds drag- they need to be more aerodynamic.
Tk Muns I would agree but then I think of Flo Jo 🤷🏾♂️ she never had a problem running with her hair down so...
Oh please that team was not in world-record form. They almost ran 42!
Felix, Jeter, Bowie and Tiañna can make a new world record if they maintain and sustain form towards next Olympics in 2021
USA did set a world record in this race... Allyson Felix ran the fastest split of all time at 9.05
I feel like the announcers weren’t expecting the USA to dominate this lol!
So proud of the German team in this strong field ❤️
First exchange cost them dearly. Gina ran her usual blazing curve.
Tori Bowie missed her calling!! That black beautiful young lady needs to be a MODEL!!

Neita (GBR) never leans. That can DEFINITELY be the difference between winning and losing. That's what happened in the women's 100m final, Bowie leaned and won, Ta Lou didn't and lost.
It's was the same incident in the diamond league
