The first runner for the USA slowed down so much durring the exchange rather than keeping the momentum going and made a late handoff but TT Terry really tore up the track and closed the gap👏 she deserves all the credit for this one

This race was won at the 3rd Leg. Thomas was devastating! Nobody was catching Sha’Carrie after that.

I hand timed Thomas's leg by stepping through frames and got about 8.67 seconds - she probably got her baton late and gave it early, but this is still very impressive.
If Davis and Sha'Carri had started their runs 0.1 seconds earlier, the would have been very close to the world record.

We hold the most track and field medals from any country. Jamaica had a few good years and they ran their athletes into the ground. They run them down until they have injuries and now look at them can’t even do anything at the Olympics.

I thought so too as she looked like she's flying as she runs so fast until I saw the 2nd half of the video, TT got the baton first before the Jamaican but the Jamaican girl on the 2nd leg passed the button first before her meaning she actually lost to the Jamaican in 2nd leg. It's actually the 3rd USA runner who won it for them.

Yea bc she was walking basically. That handoff was terrible. Gabby isn’t fast enough to hand it to her so she couldn’t get out fast. They just wanted to get the baton around. They could have broken the record.

People whom think that sha carri had little to do because she inherited a lead need to look at the 2022 world championship relay final where TT terry inherited a much larger lead Jackson made so much grounds on her it needed a photo finish imagine what she would have done with this much smaller lead had it been any other sprinters
