First time I ever saw Dafne Schippers I was amazed by her running. The determination is strong but has such a smooth stride she doesn't look like she's trying. Great race though!! ..and can't forget she is BEAUTIFUL!!! :)
So proud of Talou, shes so small n mighty. I know Shelly was watching n cheering for her dwl. Big up Ivory Coast. She really represents her country well. Not just her Talent but her Sportsmanship. She's the only person that can take the gold from us (🇯🇲 )& I would be grinning like we won.

@@youngghost2243 She was closing fast in the last 20-30 meters, but she is not the GOAT in the 200m. Florence Griffith-Joyner holds that title, and will likely never lose it, but Schippers is the 2nd best 200m sprinter of all-time at this point imo. Uibo is definitely one of the best ever in the 400m though.

@@nivan231 Uibo ain't beating Elaine in the 200m. Elaine hold the WL and Miller will only do the 400m and she's not a great 200m some may think she's is. She still haven't done nothing special in the 200m.
Miller-Uibo did an amazing last 400 meters. These ladies are also gorgeous.

The live shot of dafne running full speed is both violent amazing and explosive. She is an incredible athlete.
She actually looks like she could tear a telephone book in half with her bare hands. Never seen such a combination of both strength and beauty in a human before.

It wasn't closing speed, it was the ability to not slow down as much due to fatigue. Near the end of the 200 meter race, every single runner has slowed down and the winner is the one who slows down the least.
Now Miller Uibo is virtually untouchable in both the 200 and 400 with only the exception of Naser who should replicate more races similar to WC hard from the start.
Talk about people who are not even in this race and ignoring Dafne. Typical , guess who's black. I like Miller Uibo but she would be crushed by Dafne in 2015.
Dafne 21.63 is untouchable. She is up to now still slower, you got that mister virtual unable.

But people do tend to talk about the recent and what's going to happen instead of saying " what if that legend of ten years ago was here?".
Naser and Uibo are the future of 400 and Uibo with a bit more focus can give a crazy 200 m time as well.

I’m black, and I must say it feels good when I see a White woman beat a field of black woman in athletics because it takes something very special to do that, very exceptional genetics ❤️
I must say, i am glad finally there is a black guy dare to say this and don't go for the convient cowardly shouting " steroids or its a man or other accusations". And yes she does have special genes and lots of fast muscle fibers and exceptonal endurance (stamina), far more then other people. As a kid she was already better then the rest and run natural perfect. Brave bro.

Check out vids of Irina Privolva. World class from 50m up to 400m hurdles (Olympic gold Medalist.) More recently and still running, Ivet Lalova-Collio. Before a 2 yr absence due to an almost career ending leg injury, she ran 10.77

Wow. Track n field sprints lures you in, as a fan, like no other sports event. You know? You tentatively want Schippers to win, and the gun goes off, and there are these women who run the 200 meters differently. Some start off well. Some finish well. Schippers had to start fast, hit a lull half way, get passed a bit, and then finish strong to win at the last seconds. This is PURE excitement. I don't think I've been watching enough track n field over the years. Anyway. I go to Amsterdam, twice a year, minus pandemic times. Maybe she'll be buying a space cake at Rookies, when I'm there.

The race starts at 6:00....the commentators are obnoxious at best. The titans of Jamaica and Team USA were not in this race, but great race for Dafne Schippers. She is a solid runner, along with Ta Lou. Great experience for the US collegiate runners.

Ben Den, if you say , thats some really slow times, i wonder, what is your reference ? Dafne run 22.07 , ok slower than her 21.63 in 2015. But faster than the two Jamaicans who won the World title before her. SAFP Moscow 2013 22.17 , Ahoure second place 22.32. And before that in 2011 , VCB won the World title in 22.22 s , second Felix 22.42.
So REALLY slow times ?
