- July Flathead fishing. How we catch them with cutbait on a river. Hot weather and camera overheating, but we got the footage you need to see how effective cut bait can be for flathead catfish
Love using cut bait. We would always set with our papaw(on Jessie’s side of the family) on the bank and catch bluegill and tight line!! We still do so, but cut bait is such a great way to catch catfish on bank or boat!! Great video guys!! Thanks for sharing!!
I agree! I really appreciate the comment!
Can't beat that!! Thank you for sharing my friends!
Appreciate it buddy
What a nice Flathead !! And thank for explaining how to set the hook in circle hooks and J hooks !!👍🏻👍🏻
You bet!
Nice work guys! Big flathead there Glen!
It was a hot day. Hard to video and stay on a bite
That 13 will feed the family and then some. Made me laugh when you and Don were watching that one pole and the other one got the hookup. Good stuff Glen👍
I think he almost panicked lol. Appreciate you
I definitely catch more flathead on cutbait when using rod and reel. Good info on this video
Thanks Kyle!
Great video Glen, I have definitely caught more flathead on cut bait than live
You and me both!
Good job explaining what your doing Glen. Any day on the water is a great day, eapecially when it all comes together and the fiah cooperate.
It was slower than we expected but definitely a good time
Great info Glen! Nice flatheads!
Thank you
great job of explaining how it's done! 👍
Thank you! 👍
Current looked pretty strong. Good tactics on the lap piles
That River always has a strong current on that stretch. Appreciate you Bud
Good video, love the Meat Hunter Rods myself
Absolutely!
Great fish Glen👍
Appreciate it
I love your videos, really enjoy them. I think that if a fish is hungry, its going to eat what it can find. Live bait, cut bait, night crawlers etc... just my thoughts.
Well said!

Enjoy your day
Thank you!
Good info
Thanks
Nice 😁👍
Thanks
I've caught more flathead with cut bait than I have with live bait. Everyone always says you need to use live bait to catch them but I have plenty of proof that you don't
Absolutely! I think in still water, live bait is definitely a plus for it’s ability to attract with vibration but in current I that the scent is more important
