This is the best DIY video.
This took me 2 hours to do - prep, disassembly, cleaning the inside, reassembly, and clean up.
Thanks for this video.
You guys just saved me $275 for labor... incredibly grateful. Thank you!!
Thank you! Clear and concise, was a great help. We always appreciate the opportunity to save money and do the job well.
This is actually a great how to video. This took me about 1:30 to do... 1st time I had done this type of job. The only deviation that I had in relation to the video, was that I removed the weights that you see at the 4:50'ish mark (as I was having a problem getting the seal on properly and subsequently the spring). There was not a lot of working room. I zipped through the balance of the installation after removing the weights.
Ran a test wash and it worked fine.
Thank you!!!
Thanks for the video, guys! Was able to do this myself and save a ton of money! I will say, however, that I found reattaching the 2nd wire on the gasket much easier when I removed the counter weights.
Jessica DeMotte, we're glad the video was helpful to you. Congrats on the successful repair.

Perfect instructions. This video and part fixed my washer perfectly. Thank you!
This is probably the best darn instructional video I've seen. Every other how to vid should copy this formula. 👍
Appears a ton of unnecessary steps. For more direct repair go here: ua-cam.com/video/L2heXg2nEec/v-deo.html No need to remove access panel, soap container, and so on.
A very well-done video that made changing out the boot seal on my Samsung front load washer into a 1 1/4 hour effort. All is well and the washer no longer leaks from the seal. I went slow and still got this done quickly without issue. It is wonderful to be able to do these projects with perfect guidance. Thank you.
Steve Maislin hey could you see water leaking down the front or was the water found underneath the washer. I am finding water under my washer with each load.
You guys rock! Put your company on a speed dial! So far so good with my LG and I bought an extended warranty 2 and a half years ago - but your video encourages me to attempt some simpler repairs myself without having to wait for a repairman (hopefully, you have parts in stock for my model, fingers crossed!) Big thank you!!!
+Ga La Wow, very cool!
Awesome job on the video! Thanks a bunch! I had to take my boot seal off & do some heavy sanitize cleaning (baking soda, vinegar & bleach) 👌🏼 because previous tennant's seriously neglected the simplist maintenance of drying the boot seal & letting it air out. & thanks to your video I was able to get the job done! 👏🏼👏🏼
Excellent video. This was exactly what was needed to complete the replacement of the boot.
You guys are amazing! As a professional handy man of 15 years, I normally have to waste tons of time tinkering around with an unfamiliar machine trying to replace a simple part. Total time to finish this was an hour. Great step by step instructions! Only criticism would be to have a list of tools needed at the beginning of the video, or (for those who don't have experience fixing things) a suggestion to watch the video in its entirety before attempting. Other than that, great job!
+Jonfather Very cool, thanks you!
This video was great! I was able to fix my problem and get back to laundry within an hour! Thank you!!
Great tutorial! You saved me not only the cost of a service call, but also whatever damage I would have caused trying to figure it out unguided. I have hearing issues, so I definitely appreciated how clearly you spoke, too.
We're happy we could help!
At the 4:40 mark when putting the new boot on you may have a difficult time. The specific problem is the counter-weights get in the way of slipping the boot on correctly. In my opinion it is far better to remove the upper and lower counter-weights giving full and clear access to the rim of the drum. In this way I was able to see that the boot was completely snug to the drum and the locking ring was properly seated as well. By not doing this it is very possible you may end up not properly installing the boot. Also I found the screws, bolts and nuts were heavily corroded in some spots so I replaced those with stainless steel.
I ended up taking your advice and taking off the counterweights. Thank you sir!
Great DIY video. Worked perfect. Got my wife off back about buying a new Washer... ;) Samsung wanted almost $300 for non-warranty repair. Bought OFE seal for $75
God Bless you guys for posting videos like this. I did this in a couple of hours. Gave my drum face a good cleaning before re assembling. I didn't have to remove the counterweights either!
This helped my husband replace the seal on our washer. Took a couple of hours but he got it done thanks to you and this AWESOME video. 🤜🤛👏👏
Why you needed to replace it?
This is an extremely helpful video. It's very well made and very easy to follow along. My Samsung washer is a different model but the repair process is very similar. I was able to replace my door boot seal in no time. My Samsung washer now runs like a champ with no leaks! Thank you very much RepairClinic for this very informative video.
This is fantastic. Made the repair super easy to follow. If I were following written directions it would have been confusing and take twice as long. Thank you!
You're welcome!

Fantastic video, very clear. Agree with previous post taking off the front weights of the drum allow for quick and complete access to drum for secure attachment to drum with wire closure.
Extremely helpful video, very well made and just saved me a ton! Finally a useful video in the net! Thank you for putting these videos and sharing with the community.
Edgar Espinoza Thank you!
Best how to video, great job, saved me hundred of dollars, used this video to get access to seal to really clean any mold off of it.. I know very extreme to clean mold but very easy with your video. Thank you
+Frank Cosentino Thank you for the feedback.
Amazing video. Exactly the steps needed for my model Samsung. Thank you SO MUCH for posting. 👍🏻👍🏻
I needed to replace the seal on our washer due to apparently sheets not being all the way in the washer and ripping the seal. Lesson learned.
I have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video, I do all the fixing around the house and you made it so easy to do it fast and without breaking something else!
Perfect it every way!!!
Frank Biz Glad to help. Thank you.
This video was so helpful. I purchased a $70 part and made the repair myself. Thank you so much. Well done.
Thanks!
Thank you for posting this tutorial. This saved me time and money. My Samsung washer was a slightly different model but very similar installation process. Excellent video at the least. Two thumbs up and subbed.
+Mars Cortes Cool thanks!
Awesome instructions! Thank you for saving me a ton of money!
This how to video was awesome!!! My washing machine looked exactly as shown in the video. Step by Step. Only advise would be to remove counterbalance top and bottom to get a better view of sealing gasket.
Thank you!!
Thanks, this was helpful.
My Samsung WT210ANW was even simpler to do. Initially, I found a small tear in the original boot seal. So I cleaned and dried the area, and used waterproof silicon sealer on it. It lasted almost 6 months of constant use, without leaking! Meanwhile I found a new part, and just dropped it in in 45 min.
Great video. I had great difficulty getting the rubber boot back on the drum; I found it difficult to get my fingers in there due to the weights. I removed the upper and lower weights and found it much easier.
Very helpful, thanks!
I just got the new door seal for my samsung washer in the mail today. I'm sooooo glad I watched this video before I attempted to replace it! Thanks for such an informative video!
No problem! Thanks for the comment!
Thanks so much for this video AND the link to the part. I made the mistake of using Amazon for the part initially. Bad idea. Got to the replacement portion, pulled it out of the box, and dandy, wrong one. Ergh, so 2 days later I had your part and I got home from work and finished the replacement. Worked great!
Fantastic thanks Kim!
Thank you so much for this video. Easy to follow and didn't miss a thing (although I did and had to rewind back).
This was an extremely helpful video that saved me about $850
Thanks so much for posting this video! I replaced my door boot seal today with no problems by following this video step by step.
Corvussimo Thank you
Great instructional video! I have a slightly different model but the installation was the same.
Great instructions, and saved money hiring the same person that did a crappy job in the first place.

Thank you!

Thank you for the video. It was very helpful.
Jason Alexander You are welcome.
Thanks for sharing this detailed information. It was really helpful and made it possible for me to do it on my own.
This is one of the best produced repair videos I have ever seen. Nicely done.
Tim Sulzberger Thank you for the kind words.
Helped me fix the o-ring on my washer! Thanks

Happy you're not dead.
Were you stuck in the washing machine door boot?
Thanks. Very helpful.
Ordered my needed part. Will give this a shot as soon as it comes in...Wish Me well Any Suggestions?
Presuming the replacement approach is the same on the WF330ANB. Have the part, but so glad to see a video rather than just reading directions.
+Tere North Yes. It will be similar.
Awesome and easy to understand video! Saved me $400-$500 of having to bring in a company to do a service and cleaning.
+Ben Welch Thanks
"Replace the retaining wire and spring" Looks super easy in the video... In real life, not so much. What's the trick???
I’m sure you don’t need anymore but take the weights off drum. Then it is easy. Behind the weights is not realistic

Great video. My Samsung is different, but it was still great guidance.

Is a very good video, I just replace the seal and I did not struggle at all, I strongly recommend it.
Thank you Rob!
Did the trick. Thanks.
Is it the same part# for Model WF306L from Samsung?
Not to complain, but since most of us are replacing a worn and/or dirty gasket on a used machine, it sure would be nice to see a representative washer, not a brand new model with no stains on it or a mold-caked gasket, which is what I'm up against. Great video in terms of detail and instruction.
Very helpful video.
Thanks

Thanks for the vidio
Great video for helping. To make it easier to get the seal on especially if you have arthritis in your hands you can take the two counter balance weights off. That the two black things on the top and bottom of outer drum. Just don't mix them up and have some loc-tite to put them back in. Just for bolts. They are heavier than they look and probably costly if they break. Don't recommend but it's an idea if all else fails. Go find some young hands.
can i know if this boot seal is suitable for specifically the Samsung WW90H5200EW .. many thanks in advance...
thanks so much … was able to d9 this myself and saved a few hundred dollars

Nice!
Great video! My only problem was my giant fingers when initially tucking the new boot onto the machine lol
Any idea how to identify where the leak is coming from exactly mine seems to be leaking from the bottom and I’ve tilted it to kinda feel where it’s coming from and it feels like one of the hoses but not sure and I’ve never repair and appliance before so that tells you where knowledge on this is
Our Samsung washer just sprung big leak tonight while it was filling up for a wash. Is the boot seal the only source of a water leak? Are there any other components that would fail causing washer to leak into the protective pan? Washer is embedded in a cabinet with heavy marble top. Access to rear would be tough job. Any help is appreciated. PS - I just cleaned out the trap and filter recently. Thank you and good video - Subscribed.
Easily saved us $500 bucks!
Also, my Samsungs are stacked but I guess that is my headache to deal with.
Thanks again!
bmw serie 6
This wasn’t quite right for my model but it got me 90% of the way there. Also I’d go light on the dish soap lubricating the gasket. Too much and it won’t stay put as you work around the seal.
Why are bothering with the filter access door? Other reviews do not even mention. Thanks.
Any idea if replacing this seal would help a leak that seems to be dripping not from the door, but under the machine from the middle screw/mount area? Thanks for this video!
+NYCLSC If the seal is not torn, but the door is leaking then the hinge may not be allowing the door to close properly.
Thanks for the reply! I replaced the seal anyway, just because it looked crappy. That wasn't the fix. It turns out that the plastic front tub assembly underneath the counter weight is cracked which is why it wasn't leaking out of the door, but behind the front panel. :(
My boot seal had torn and replaced it only thing now I noticed one of the plastics top section of the boot when it spins fast it bangs on the glass door. Any idea what I can do??
Thank you for such a helpful video, well produced. I'm definitely going to call an expert.
or Samsung DC64-00802A Diaphragm for WF306L????
Great video but if you added removing the weights in the front it would make adding the seal soooooo much easier. 1/2 inch socket
bravo !
Leopard Leopard Thank you.
I have a slightly different issue with my Samsung front load washer. I see no water leaks while the unit goes through the cycles. When completed, I open the door and I remove the clothes. Typically I leave the door open so that it cuts down on mildew, etc. It's when I open the door is when I see water dripping from the bottom of the door. Is there anything on the door itself that retains water and leaks from the bottom?
the seal on my machine does not peel away as shown in the video, almost like it is glued in place. thoughts? or pull harder?
I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?
Where do I find the filter on a samsung VRT front load with silver care
salizar1 try samsungparts website
Having issues getting the spring back on, any tricks?
Using clamps to hold the spring in place while you work around the drum can be helpful.
How do I know what door boot seal to order for my samsung washer? Thank you for your video.
You're welcome. You can go to RepairClinic.com and put in your model number. All the parts associated with your washer will populate and you can filter which part you are looking for.
Great video but man am I having a difficult time keeping that seal on then getting the ring on. the ring keeps going behind the rubber gasket seal or the gasket seal just comes off.
GetMet same here but we took the "heavy black blocks" from top and bottom (sorry don't know the name of them - three screws each) from it and it got very easy. Of course we reattached them once gasket and ring went into place.
That’s helpful for me,
I cleaned all the tubs & pipes,
I found a problem:
Because of using the dryer daily, I found a damage in the rubber of the door, at the top in the neck, I’ll try to find another one or seemlier.
Don’t know if someone can help me?
My machine:
Samsung Washing Machine wd906u4sagd
Worked great for me, mines a slightly different model and only has one tube inside to connect. Took me about 90-mins total as @thenathanruckus said, once you get the old boot/seal off, be prepared to clean off the outside rim of the drum and plastic housing, recommend bleach wipes and an old toothbrush. Great video!
I'm gonna be replacing mine soon. Whatever happened to washers lasting 30 years.ive had mine for 4 years and needing to repair it already
Excellent how to video but I stumped at the wire that holds the boot seal is too big mow and it's really loose. What did I do wrong? The boot is perfectly in place and snug but the wire won't tighten up enough ugh......everything else went so perfectly except this !
10 YEAR WARRANTY on the Direct Drive MOTOR?
saharil saad
Yeah just the motor.
Hi, Guys, seems that the door boot seal is my problem, but I'd like your opinion anyway. My VRT Mo. WF409ANR-XAA (5 Yrs. old) is leaking by front bottom, is a drip-drip, I've collected about 3-4 Gal., started several cycles to check drain hose discharge, it looks good, is there any other troubleshooting I need to do? Please give an opinion and/or recommendation. Thanks'
Armando Lopez If there is a drip we recommend removing the boot and inspecting it for a tear. These boots can tear when the washer is overloaded.
***** Wow! Thanks' for the prompt answer. I ran an empty rinse cycle and there was no leak, haven't tried with load, if it leaks with a load I will definitely do that, wife does sometimes wash single heavy items. By the way , what's the turn around time for this item, or do you have local store in San Antonio TX.
how much it's cost
How much would it cost to get this much stuff done.?
Did the washer give any error codes beforehand letting you know a replacement was needed?
Door boot seals are generally replaced when they are damaged and causing water leakage.
This can be done without removing the front panel which saves a lot of time. Especially if you have a dryer on top of the washer and they are in a closet.
How?
My Samsung Model is WF337AAL/XAA . I would really appreciate a repair video on how to repair it Water sprouts out from the dispenser and from the top of the front door. My dispenser was not that dirty. So I don't know what's going on. Can you help. Simplysyl
+simplysyl1967 We did not create a video specific to your model, but this video should be similar. We would look for a damaged hinge not allowing the door to close securely to the boot resulting in a leak.
Is there any way to do this without removing the dryer on top? Our dryer is bracketed onto the washer. It would be a beast to have upper middle aged people try to lift down a dryer in a tiny laundry space
that's like LG Inverter Direct Drive
