Azi the medical droid is a real one for sure, he is the droid that helped fives remove hos inhibitor chip in clone wars and helped him figure out the truth about the clones. Sad that he never mentions fives to echo because fives was like the only clone that really befriended a droid and i think azi and echo could have an interesting arc together about remembering fives and try to honor his sacrifice
@@Arodr123 no what i meant was that it would’ve been fun to see azi mention fives in some way and echo reacting to it and tell old stories of him and fives and then Azi tells echo about there relationship since clones mostly look down on droids and echo being scarred after what happened to him it would’ve been fun to see echo starting to sorta heal from knowing that one of his closest brothers trusted this droid like he was one of them
My favorite part of this episode is when AZ tells the bad batch in a whisper that they seem to be defective clones and wrecker is looking all concerned 😂

Saw Gerrera first appeared in the Clone Wars Onderon arc, he and his sister were independent freedom fighters against the separatists that the Republic couldn't legally help so Obi-wan, Anakin and Ahsoka gave their group some covert training.

I’m pretty sure they didn’t have any plans for Rogue One when they were making those episodes too so I’m pretty sure Saw is Dave Filoni’s first move at bridging his animated shows to live action content.

Caleb was introduced as an adult in Rebels, which takes place around the same time as Andor (but came out before The Bad Batch). They just had the same actor who does the voice of the adult version do the voice for young Caleb. Presumably to make it 100% clear that's who it is (Caleb goes by a different name in Rebels).
A couple of things may be a little confusing at first, but it'll make sense eventually once you've seen some key clone wars episodes and chronologically later animated series (and to be honest I still think watching it chronologically makes the payoffs better than the other way around where it's more like a cameo or quick backstory, but it's just harder to know who or what to keep track of). It will just seem like important-ish or named side characters are introduced quickly, become significant for a short time, and then disappear. It doesn't matter too much since you'll be introduced to them "properly" eventually, but it may just take a long time to link things up. For example, the most subtle ones you've seen (and likely forgotten) so far were in the final few clone wars episodes, there was a female mandalorian with Bo Katan, named Ursa, and I don't think you'll even know her last name unless you looked at the credits of the episodes, and a male deathwatch/maul mandalorian named Saxon. I don't want to spoil anything if possible but yeah, there will be things that come up very briefly and then much later will be significant again.
Saw is in the Clone Wars I think you forgot this. The further pursuit of Caleb (this young Padawan) is interesting. One of the Clones (Grey) partially regained consciousness. He tried to convince his brothers, but he failed. He eventually blew up himself and his entire Battalion so Caleb would survive.
So I think the reason Saw Gurrera looks so unfamiliar to you in bad batch is because even though he was in clone wars he wasn’t important outside the arc that he was a part of and then didn’t show up again until Rogue One and Andor where he had a larger role. Basically he was in clone wars but easy to forget with everything else Star Wars has going on

The one thing about this episode especially it’s intro. It is the last ties to the clone wars after this episode the clone wars was done for good.

The further pursuit of Caleb (this young Padawan) is interesting. One of the Clones (Grey) partially regained consciousness. He tried to convince his brothers, but he failed. He eventually blew up himself and his entire Battalion so Caleb would survive.
Just a friendly correction, Gree died on Kashyyk. You see Yoda take care of him in Revenge of the Sith. 😀

So I think the reason Saw Gurrera looks so unfamiliar to you in bad batch is because even though he was in clone wars he wasn’t important outside the arc that he was a part of and then didn’t show up again until Rogue One and Andor where he had a larger role. Basically he was in clone wars but easy to forget with everything else Star Wars has going on

Caleb dume (the same padawan you saw in Tales of jedi) is Kanan Jarrus, also known as Ezra's master in Star Wars: Rebels

Caleb is Kanaaan from Star Wars Rebels. That's why he has the same voice.
Caleb is a Character you will see in Star Wars Rebels.....so they used the same voice actor they used for that Character in Rebels.....
Saw Gerrera appears in Clone Wars, there are some chapters for him and he has that appearance only without a beard

I'll be honest, when the Bad Batch was introduced in TCW, I was not a fan of them. I'm glad I watched this show anyway because here they're much more likeable for me somehow.
