Hello there kyle
Actually leg pauldron are called Kamas also every time I see tarkin do something like this reminds me of how much I hate him
I hate to be the wet blanket, but for the young characters, didn't it occur to anyone that it might be a good idea to use VAs around the same age as the characters they're voicing? Caleb sounds like 13 with a 40-yr-old's voice box.
Kyle did you see the Palpatine speech in this episode?
Did you see the speech?
Idc if she helped, Nala-Se is still on my shit list for what she did to Fives
You commented this on another reaction too lol

@@beneddiected Papa Pals gets his lol she is unaccounted for however
Now you know why Dume was so paranoid/afraid with seeing Rex, Wolf and Gregor in rebels.
we already knew about his master being killed in order 66 but its awesome we got to see it in animation
We already knew
I think the only reason Nala Se and Lama Su helped them escape is because the 5 enhanced clones are basically their last own merchandise that they could save from the Empire. I don't think it was from the "goodness of their heart".
Maybe not. But having them around could still be helpful.
Kaminoans never do anything out good heart
We may even get the Kamino clone rebellion, probably not but would be cool.
@@flamingsmore5904 I got the vibe that we are in fact going to see a clone rebellion.
@@Blackdeathgaming-yv1kk hopefully! If we do I wonder if we will see any of Cody, in legends he was training stormtroopers on Kamino.
Plus, think about it. Omega is a clone who has never seen the outside of ship. That last montage of the ship kicking into hyper-drive and the stars reflecting in her eyes.........it's so beautiful and symbolic of OUR first time witnessing those streaking stars, that hyperdrive punch-(it Chewie)lever throttling to the max, the first time seeing a planet from space.
Admit it......Omega is literally living our childhood dreams right now lol
Oh I love omega
“Kanan: The Last Padawan”
Cal Kestus:
“Am I a joke to you?”
We don't know how long Cal Kestus lived for though. We know Kanan survived until about a year prior to A New Hope. Fallen Order was only 5 years after the Order 66
@@TheJadedJames although she quit the order before the war ended, Ashoka was still a padawan and survived years after the OT, so I still don’t see the argument for Kanan.
@@emperorleachicus2199 she doesn’t consider herself a Jedi/Padawan which is why people don’t usually put her in the conversation
@@reapersoul8506 But she was one when the Clone Wars ended. Then there's also Grogu...who was about 20-ish at this time at the Jedi Temple...I think?
Technically and I don't agree with this myself but luke didn't have anyone to do the whole ritual of being knighted so through technicalitie luke is still a padawan
I feel really bad for Crosshair. You know he was probably fighting to keep himself in check, and now he's being forced to hunt down his brothers.
His chip was fighting against him
@@leoa3799 Absolutely loved this opening episode. Totally makes sense for Crosshair to begin his own story arc with the Empire because - and I admit I'm guessing here - who else is going to take Imperial Sniper Trainee FENNEC SHAND under his wing to teach her the art of being a sniper?
“Clone Soldiers that are programmed to follow The Empire and are way stronger then the common soldier”
Tarkin: We don’t need those. We need to save money!
To be fair the Rspublics clones didn't actually fight alot of the war because of how expensive and how few they were. An entire empires worth, for a period of relative peace (after the initial uprisings stop) would be a waste. Keeping two forces, a central elite lne force and a recruited stormtrooper force would have been a better idea.
There’s another reason; if you have the populace in the armed forces, they are easier to control
Don't get between Tarkin & the funds he needs to build his Death Star.
Also, the clone wars is over. What would you possibly need soldiers for, during peacetimes.
So this is how liberty dies with thunderous applause
So we're all in agreement that Fenecs role this season is as a fill in "sharpshooter" while Crosshair is experimenting with his "gothic" phase 😂
I wasn't entirely sure how I felt about Omega when she was first revealed, but she's growing on me. She adds some nice heart and humor to the series and I'm genuinely interested in finding out exactly what her backstory is.
Yeah I was worried about her but she's likable
Shes way more endearing from first impressions than young ahsoka and ezra. She will easily grow on people like ahsoka and ezra
@@Pixel0429 Everyone hated Ezra and young Ahsoka when they were first introduced lol, but Omega is not annoying and is capable,
I do hope she isn't force sensitive, and just has like an empathic clone ability. We've seen the "force sensitive kid in the run" storyline enough imo.
@@bruh-fw7op Ahsoka and Ezra were both very capable when they were first introduced as well. They were just brats.
Great video! I loved how Omega told Crosshair that she hoped he wouldn't come after them, but that she understands why he has to. That was a beautiful scene because it shows how she has compassion for the clones who are used and abused by the simple turn of a switch in the head. Great first episode and great reaction!
Did anyone else get an A-Team vibe from this? I could definitely see the Bad Batch becoming mercenary heroes.
4:51 Clone trooper "Tup" said it again and again, when his inhibitor chip malfunctioned!
I think Omegas trait is photographic memory. Throughout the episode she copies hunter and what she sees. So when he was shooting she was watching and she just did what he did. She also is a research assistant so that would help too. May just be me though but when I was watching that is what popped into my head
It really seems like she's force sensitive from nailing the blaster shot to being able to tell what crosshair would do before he did it and even knowing Tarkin had ulterior motives it just screams force sensitive to me to the point I would be more surprised if she wasn't and it also explains part of why the Kaminoans are so reluctant to tell the empire about her for fear they'll kill her
@@keagasourus9883 Cloning force-sensitive beings is “unfortunately” canon now but this is a great catch.
@@douglusco5439 Cloning force sensitives has been lore for a long time they just reintroduced the idea in disney's cannon
"So heroic. Just like your master. Tell me, Jedi, how did you survive Order 66? Hmm? It was your Master Billaba who laid down her life for yours. Do you remember her last word to you, her last and final breath before she died?... You do, don't you? You see it in your sleep. You hear her voice when you wake. Tell me, Jedi, what was her last word to you?" - Grand Inquisitor
"Run..." -Kanan
That line gives me chills bro!
J-19 is the sector where the Saleucami system is located. So their "friend" is probably Rex and Cut.
Cut and Run is name of next episode apparently
Please be Rex
Isn't j19 where the deserter clone and his Twi'lek wife and kids are?
@@shaunm2691 Yes, his name IS Cut (Lawquane)
@@bruh-fw7op ohhh Lawquane is cut?? Did not know that thank u
04:50 Tup, it was Tup who said that when he killed Master Tiplar in season 6 of clone wars
I believe Jesse also said it in the final
What, good soldiers follow orders? Yes they did.
I swear I want Dave filoni to make a revenge of the sith movie but with the clone wars animation and clone wars voice actors
@Alex Hogdan yeah it’s such a weird thing to want.
I would pay for a movie ticket to go see it in theater, not even kidding.
@Alex Hogdan *with
Better they remake Rebels with Clone Wars animation
@Alex Hogdan I would love it but if they changed or added more to it that we didn’t see in the movies
Phase 1 dark troopers would have a person in them. Remember Dr. Pershing said that the dark troopers in mando were the final step, removing the human element.
Wonder since we've seen alot of Saw in the Animation series if we'll ever see Jyn Erso
Everyone seems to be making the mistake of thinking that those are phase one dark troopers.
In Mandalorian, Dr Pershing said that “the human inside was the FINAL weakness to be solved”, not the first.
These look more like the DT series security droids from Rebels.
.....out of curiosity, do we know what DT stands for?
@@Haduuna_Wrur No. At the time Rebels was made, it was intended as a reference to the Legends Dark Trooper droids.
But as it stands in the canon, we don't know.
What's the difference exactly? In my opinion Rebels retkoned the Dark Troopers
@@NateSceneTV What? How can Rebels retcon something which it doesn’t even feature?
It’s the Mandalorian which states that the early variants were suits.
One detail that I really liked was that the dark troopers used the same sounds as the Purge Troopers from The Force Unleashed.
"They were paying attention." "Oh, you can count!" lol
Did you see Bendu’s face when that trooper got hit with food again this time by Wrecker? That was hilariously funny!!!!!
This is the reaction I was waiting for. Best Star Wars youtuber in the galaxy.
I agree. This channel and Blindwave really know their stuff and always catch whats going to happen well before it does. Me on the otherhand... I just watch and take it all in as it happens lol
I agree with you 👍
I agree. Most knowledgeable and funn
Star Wars Theory is great too
Star Wars Theory doesn't know shit about SW though. He literally reads wookieepedia articles live on stream and everyone's like oooooh haha
I definitely did not expect to see Depa Billaba and Caleb Dume/Kanan Jarrus in this series premiere. Also, the Order 66 scene in this episode is more of a major retcon to what was established in the "Star Wars: Kanan" comic series.
When the thing with Tup happened he kept repeating "good soldiers follow orders".I think Fives did too,and yes,Rex said that too.
It's crazy how Crosshair is the new Disney Winter Soldier.
His armor and visor though... the black armor and the dark green visor... he's become one of the first deathtroopers...
Great to hear Tom Kane intro after his stroke...
Sadly he won't voice act again.
I feel bad for Tom.😞😫

Yeah it a shame...
J19, I believe is where Cut the clone defector and his family were at.
I'd completely forgotten about the food fight in the commissary when we saw the second season Domino episode. Did you notice that Crosshair kept his helmet on after arriving on Kamino? And we don't see the faces of the regs save for chow time. Also the moment we heard the "good soldiers follow orders" I IMMEDIATELY had flashbacks to Tup
Notice how when they returned to Kamino, the Bad Batch removed their helmets to portray their humanity. Crosshair kept his helmet on though...
It makes sense the inhibitor chips were very narrowly tailored to Jango Fett's genetic code. Otherwise The Empire could just mass-produce them and stick them in everybody's heads.
The opening with young Kanan made me once again wish Rebels had just stuck with the Clone Wars animation style
True but they couldnt. They had cut the animation budget at the time. That's why clone wars got canceled at that time.
@@MrRba122 From my understanding The Clone Wars were cancelled due to Star Wars being bought by Disney and they wanted their own animation. But Cartoon Network still owned the rights for that specific animation design so they had to go with something else. I read that a lot of the design choices in Rebels are taken from first concept designs from the original Star Wars. Like the thinner lightsabers. Apparently the Lasat were the original design of the Wookie.
I believe that omega and hunter are linked by the fact that their senses are inhumanly heightened, she wasn’t just copying him at that point she was straight up mirroring him with the head movements after the hand gesture.
I’m glad they’re giving The Bad Batch flaws in some regards. My big problem was there DIDNT seem to be any danger for them but now they’re establishing that wreckers “send it” mentality is getting him knocked out of the fight and more of a hinderance. Crosshair was viscous and callous which makes him perfect for the villain role and an excellent antagonist who knows their moves and strategies. Hunter is getting fleshed out too and is starting to grow on me. Echo seems to be dealing with some PTSD after Sako minor after his reaction to seeing Tarkin and being hooked up to machines. Hunters growing on me and tech....well I’m waiting to see how I feel about him by the end of the series
I absolutely agree. I really didn't care about any of them in the season 7 arc. Now they actually feel like people instead of cardboard cutouts.
What are we? Its like we're some sort of bad batch
I like Tech for no other reason than I think his voice has a tiny bit of Clone Wars Obi-wan inflection
I like tech because he's a nerd like me lmao
Tech’s flaw is that he has so much information at his disposal but he selectively tells people what he thinks is most important/withholds information that he thinks is obvious to everyone, like Omega being a clone or regs being programmed
Omega definitely has a psychic gift or something that allows her to read and copy people’s movements. In the cell, in the hallway she was simply copying hunter, but the shot with the blaster without even using one before shows she seemed to have some ability to copy someone’s sharp shooting skills, either hunter or crosshair.
That’s why i’m saying if she’s not force sensitive, she def has a photographic memory
I think she's force sensitive.
I hope they might integrate some of the unfinished Bad Batch stuff from the 10 still cancelled Clone Wars arcs (about 40 episodes) into this show, even though those stories were probably happening before the CW season 7 finale. I would just really like to see all of these still missing episodes on screen again.
Fun little thing, there was a little bit of Kotor II music that played when the Bad Batch’s shuttle landed on Kamino the first time.
“HELLO THERE!!” ‘
This premiere episode meant a lot to us clone wars fans, and Omega is a precious bean!!!
We must protect her at all costs!
You guys are definitely my favorite Star Wars reaction channel bc you're so freaking knowledgeable on all things star wars, it blows my mind. I learn new things all the time.
Omega is 100% a force sensitive clone. I think it's fairly obvious how they're setting it up.
Another member of Luke's council, along with Ezra, Ashoka, and Cal.
Or she just has a photographic memory-
@@bruh-fw7op Photographic muscle memory like Taskmaster?
Tarkin looked 30 at most in the citadel and now he aged 40 years since then lol.
Those training droids are known as "Imperial Sentry Droid" or "DT Series Sentry Droid". NOT DARK TROOPERS.
I think its Cut Lawqayne. J19-Salucamei system. Cut is the only clone who cant got the order 66 call. Rex and cody did.
Hello there
General
Master Kenobi
Anie is a Toa Matoro we all did it.
You know something's good gonna happen when Tarkin arrives.
My guess is... Omega was an attempt to clone a Jedi using the Jango Fett clone template. She also was made to age normally instead of accelerated aging.
I agree with the possibility that she had force sensitive abilities. Another guess is she has enhanced senses like Hunter... or a photographic memory. Notice how she's been observing the mannerisms and the habits of the Bad Batch, the clones and everyone closely. Her first shots were quite accurate despite her admitting she had never fired a blaster before.
Can't wait to see more of her.
Favourite part was the begining & Caleb Dume, didn't expect that, Freddie Prince Jr voice felt weird tho.
Loved route they took with crosshair by having him struggle because his inhibitor chip was slightly kicking-in & making it so he didn't fully turn on clone force 99 until kaminoans got him into medical bay & boosted his inhibitor chip instead of him turning on them off his own free will so leaving possible redemption story.
If Omega is force sensitive I hope its natural & not case of kaminoans cracking code & making her force sensitive clone...
Isn't it canonically impossible for clones to be naturally Force-sensitive, unless their donor was Force-sensitive?
@@tyrecedownie-ackloo7432
There is in Legends m8 but to my knowledge there's no evidence to clones being able to be force sensitive in canon right now, & I don't believe George Lucas ever intended them to. But unfortunately he doesn't own star wars anymore... Technically clones are living beings & force moves in mysterious ways.
Our worlds politically different right now, someone's bound to get arsehurt as to why they can't eventually..
@@darthwint3823 I know there's one in Legends, m8, that's what my answer was based off. Starkiller was Force sensitive, so it makes sense his clone was also Force sensitive. I'm fairly certain Tech already said Omega had heightened awareness.
I love that echo's armor looks like his old arc-trooper armor
Love how they are setting up for the Clone Rebellion in this episode.
Love the reaction guys.
The only reaction I legit look for on StarWars stuff
They used the dark trooper sound effects from the force unleashed. Also if you watch the episode and watch the moment when wrecker punches the clone and breaks his helmet you can see a fine mist of blood
That was great. Super editing by @NerdChronic as always. Star Wars is back baby!
Episode 1 was so worth the wait - the dark times have begun. Glory to the Empire!
Great Reaction as always guys this episode was freaking great and can't wait for the rest also the music in the episode was lit can't wait to add it to my spofity when its out
Crosshair fought his last battle with the bad batch in the mess hall. I love Star Wars.
We requested and the Star Wars creators answered! BAD BATCH BABYYYYYY! 🥳
Fun fact: Crosshair was modeled after Clint Eastwood
I think they might be looking for that one Clone Trooper that deserted and became a farmer. Probably looking for somewhere to lie low and he wouldn't have received order 66 so he might be willing to help.
This show was amazing. I’m very excited for it.
Anyone else notice Omega coping Hunters movements in the prison cell scene...Trying to be like dad..lol
I get death trooper and storm commando vibes from Crosshairs new armor.
I bet those Kaminoans regret helping Sidious now.
Nerdchronic is legendary. Editing videos for a lot of channels
I was eagerly awaiting your post of this episode!!!
I hope whit the change of the “lore” that the comics establishes, the Caminoans and clones have a different fate and in a way, they make a different rebel cell.
Also, Rex is key here because he knows how the chips operate and how to counter it. He and Ahsoka could help the bad batch recover Crosshair and to help the Caminoans to re design the chips so the clones don’t obey the empire. That would give a reason why the empire hired regular humans instead of still using clones.
I’m very hype because all of this is happening the first 2 or 3 days of the empire.
Remember they were sentry droids on the cargo ship
Saw knew the truth behind Order 66. Really reinforces how he managed to stay alive and fighting for so long, hes pretty smart.
I believe we're gonna meet Cut Lawquane again...because J-19 is a sector in Saleucami system, here Rex was shot and met Cut...and hopefully Rex will be there too :D
She's literally a clone of Jango. Like x-23 is a clone of Wolverine. It's weird to me how so many people don't just assume that's the case, and immediately jump to her being a clone of someone else
She does have that Palpatine Hair but yeah I agree with you. It’s simply an X-23 scenario.
@@egeorgiades93 The hair made me think of Palpatine too at first, but her voice actress is from New Zealand, so yeah, a female Jango clone seems more likely.
@@StarWarsDK I’ve heard several theorize that she’s a Palpatine clone solely on the Hair. To me, I think she is going to be The Last Clone. Omega = The End and with her rebellion to align with The Bad Batch, it gives pull to Tarkin’s decision to cease Clone Soldiers. I’m not completely on the fence with her being a Force Sensitive and think it’s her having heighten awareness, adaptability, and photographic memory. They show her observing a lot which lead me to the third claim meaning we will see her fly the ship at one point solely because she saw how to do it once when she watched how the ship was operated. The same goes for how she shot Crosshair. The way she did it was very similar to a Crosshair move, meaning she adapted to the situation and was able to perform the act after seeing Crosshair do it once. As for Awareness, she appears more aware of things then most (almost Jedi like) like when she tells Crosshair it’s not his fault and to not do what he is going to do. It’s likely she knows about Order 66 due to her working as an assistant and knew where that would bring Crosshair since the chip works more in him.
@@egeorgiades93 I think you're a 100% right. Gonna be very interesting to see how things play out.
@@egeorgiades93 yeah I think her hair is just dyed and styled like every other clone does with their hair

Kannan (Aka.Caleb Dume) backstory in Rebels 😢😢😢😢
In Bad Batch 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 THIS BOY NEEDS A HUG!
One of the best bits of star wars lore is the inhibitor chip. When watching the movies the clones come across as storm troopers in waiting, your waiting for them to switch sides like arse holes. However once the chip is introduced they change considerably. Loyal allies and true friends who are actually just another victim of palpatine and the empire. Let's you see them as more than an expendable army and doubles down on palpatine being a manipulator.
So many things I'm interested in seeing. What happens to Kamino what with the clones eventually being decommissioned? Could they possibly slip what happened to Cody in here? Could we maybe see how Gregor and Wolffe got their chips out since we know Rec is coming?
All of squad 99 HAVE inhibitor chips...they just don't function properly because they were built for standard clones, and the neurophysiology of each member of squad 99 is too different. Like trying to run Windows software on a Mac. In the case of Crosshair, it can be done, but it requires tweaking and it still doesn't work quite as intended.
The phase 1 dark troopers make the same noise the Dark troopers in the Force Unleashed makes. Anyone else caught that ?
@17:33 I almost cough up my drink laughing when you guys said "was that a stim pack? No it was a covid vaccine" XD

Absolutely loved this opening episode. Totally makes sense for Crosshair to begin his own story arc with the Empire because - and I admit I'm guessing here - who else is going to take Imperial Sniper Trainee FENNEC SHAND under his wing to teach her the art of being a sniper?
When Star Wars becomes Animal House...food fight!!!!
I just came back from the Episode 14 reaction and can we just look at the faces from the Bad Batch at scene w Garerra. Like how everyone has a little Light on their faces except Crosshair who is nearly in the dark and Wrecker has a little Light in the face but not so much like the others. It totally was for shadowing how Crosshair was the first under the Chip Control and then Wrecker.
Fun fact: they actually fixed a line from the book that didn’t match with what Kanan told the Grand Inquisitor in Rebels. Kanan states that Depa’s last word to him was ‘Run’ when in fact in the book, she says ‘Run, Caleb’ therefore making here last word to him ‘Caleb’ but with Bad Batch, when you hear her get gunned down, she shrieks out the word ‘Run’ thus making what Kanan said to the GI in Rebels true.
Crosshair is still somewhat in control with his body if you think about it. He’s suppose to be a really good sniper who never misses a shot with the help of his mutation. The fact that he missed Hunter and the rest, shooting Wrecker in a place where its not critical, just looks to me that Crosshair is controlling his body to miss purposely. Of course, since they intensified his chip, he could only do that quickly.
Are that phase-1 darktroopers? In Mando they said that the ones Giddeon had were the first generation that is fully droid. When Pershin said they had darktroopers on board Din asked how many suits they had. So I think Phase 1 and 2 Darktroopers would be exosuits.
Afaik in legends it went like this: Phase 1=Droid -> Phase 2=Exo Skeleton -> Phase 3=Droid so this would work.
Have the dark troopers been engaged?
In Rebels season 3 we also saw Dark troopers. However they were officially called Imperial Sentry Droids even though they had a DT designation. It’s safe to assume that these are part of that family.
@JaigEyesCustom I did not say that they were. However, it’s a bit of a inside gag that the “DT” is for Dark Trooper. According to Dave and company. Check out Rebels Recon The Wikathu Job. Since all that stuff is Legends material now anyway. The Imperial Sentry Droid was the closest ever were going to get to actual Dark Troopers. No one and I mean no one knew than in four years the name Dark Trooper would be made canon.
My prediction will be that Omega is force sensitive the first clone that lived, would be cool.
They do have inhibitor chips. Their mutations and Echo’s cybernetics made them immune to the effects of the chips. My guess is that Crosshair has the smallest mutation and the inhibitor chip still works but only at a fraction
Great to see Kanan. Hope we get to see Saw one more time in this series.
5:45 😂 Kyle and I have the same mind!
Great reaction guys.
👍From 🏴
My guy spoke through the Order 66 Hologram
I have a theory I don’t know if it’s right but people have always speculated why stop using clones when stormtroopers are clearly worse maybe this was when Palpatine started researching force clones and he shut down the kamino cloning facility so they wouldn’t make them before he does
Nala Se delaying the gate really showed that she is showing humanity to clone force 99.
Fairly certain it was out of self-interest. Like what happened with Tup and Fives.
