Baylon and Shin's lightsabers are not red, they are orange. Dave Filoni was VERY explicit about that when asked lol. That wasn't Ezra's bunk, that was Sabine's bunk while she was Ahsoka's padawan. Sabine being Force Sensitive was hinted at all through Rebels, from her very first intro in the short titled "Art Attack." It's just that the signs were very subtle, often hidden by her training as a Mandalorian, and also often overshadowed by Ezra's training because he used the Force much more in order to survive as a kid on the streets of Lothal. That ending though... now we know why it was a two-episode premier lol.

5:39 My assumption was that Ahsoka was using the sonar-like ability a Togruta's lekku grant them to figure out the right way to "unlock" that device. Kind of like using a stethoscope to crack a dial combination lock.
7:54 This droid, named Huyang, is the same droid we last saw in Star Wars: The Clone Wars S5E07 through S05E09, the mini arc where Ahsoka accompanied a class of younglings to Illum to find the Kyber crystals for their first lightsabers. According to Huyang himself, he had guided Yoda as a Jedi initiate in building his first lightsaber. However, his comment that he has been a part of the Jedi Order since its "nascent" days suggests he has been around since the Order's founding almost 26,000 years ago.
13:20 Yeah, I was a bit disappointed, too. Sabine and Ezra are only two years apart. They totally could have gotten together (and a lot of people *were* shipping them, anyways). Oh well.
13:55 No. We did not know Morgan Elsbeth was a Nightsister yet. Previously, every Nightsister we've seen has been a Dathomirian Zabrak (a species of which the females all have chalk-white skin and grey tattoo-like markings, such as Asajj Ventress and Merrin).
    - Side note: Asajj Ventress and Merrin are the same species as Maul. It's simply that females don't have horns, and only males have red or green (and in the case of Iridonian Zabrak, normal, tan-colored) skin.
14:38 "She's not a Jedi, she's a Mandalorian." Just a reminder that there *have* been Mandalorian Jedi before. In Disney canon, Tarre Vizsla was the sole example. But in pre-Disney canon, in addition to Tarre Vizsla, there were multiple Mandalorian Jedi in the New Republic era following the war with the Yuuzhan Vong. And one of them was a Jango Fett clone, too. Also, Jaina Solo (the second child of Han and Leia) was even trained in Mandalorian combat styles by Boba Fett himself in order to kill her brother, Jacen Solo (who had fallen to the dark side and become Darth Caedus).
Also, we don't yet know if Sabine is or is not force-sensitive. In Rebels, the Bendu hinted that Sabine was force-sensitive, but her Mandalorian nature made her less able to become attune to it.
14:52 Yes. That is Clancy Brown (more recently known for playing The Harbinger in John Wick: Chapter 4, and Lt. Hank Anderson in the PlayStation 4/5 game, Detroit: Become Human). And in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, he also provided the voice of Maul's brother, Savage Oppress.
21:08 No. That is Ezra's lightsaber. If you recall, Ezra handed it to Chopper before surrendering himself to Thrawn. Chopper than gave it to Sabine (as she was the only one remaining who could use it). However, it seems she *did* modify the emitter (top) section.
21:31 You are correct. Sabine previously wielded Ezra's lightsaber in her duel against Gar Saxon.
21:56 I don't think Sabine is "out of training." I think it's more that she doesn't have her Beskar armor on at the moment, forcing her to fight differently (especially against a force-sensitive lightsaber-wielding opponent), in addition to the fact that Shin (being force-sensitive) can easily be physically overpowered.
22:13 Yeah... good thing lightsaber wounds don't bleed. If that wound wasn't instantly fatal, it won't be fatal at all. Though... considering the temperature of a lightsaber blade, Sabine's insides should have been flash-cooked in that one second the blade was inside her.

A lot of people get confused about the Force. They see it as some special thing that you can find and pick up and put it on your head and suddenly you have the Force. Whereas it’s always been designed so that every [living] being has the Force.
The amount of Force, which is like talent or intelligence, is different in every person. Some of it is inherited, but it’s no more than a talent. It’s not something you can acquire - it’s something you can learn to use. I have the power to lift that cup off the table using the Force, but I can’t do it unless I have been trained to do it.

the key to solving the map puzzle is that you are trying to reproduce the triquetra/trefoil image from the scan. The central smaller trefoil is your compas that tells you the orientation alignment of the puzzle. within the larger trefoil (in which everything is inside of) are the circles within circles with lines that connect it to the central triangle within the larger trefoil. So you need to turn the sides of the sphere to align the pictures so they match the larger troil in the hologram.

The only one I'm not quite sure of yet is Mary Elizabeth Winsted as Hera, but I think that might just be because I can't look at her without seeing Ramona Flowers.

4:05 - It's funny.... ever since Rogue One when Vader had his "Hallway Scene", it's become a staple with certain types of characters. Luke had his "Hallway Scene" in Chapter 16 of The Mandalorian, now Baylan has his "Hallway Scene" in Part 1 of Ahsoka.
11:48 - That droid's dome is actually based on the ORIGINAL 1978 version of R2-D2's action figure. The "Teardrop eyes" were different than R2 in the movie, but we didn't care. We were kids. LOL! But it's a funny little Easter Egg Dave put in.
12:40 - LMAO! I just had an idea... Since we refer to every animal species in Rebels (and now, here) as a "Loth-(whatever)", I'm going to start doing that in real life, except instead of "Loth-Cat", I'll call mine "Earth-Cats". Or, "Earth-Dog", or "Earth-Lion".... etc... Should make our next trip the either the vet or the shelter pretty interesting. "Hi, We're here to adopt an Earth-Cat." I bet the look on their face will be priceless.
13:03 - I've been thinking about that. She's not wearing her Mandalorian armour, but we know this takes place after the "Night of a Thousand Tears"... I wonder if she stopped wearing the armour as a way of "going into hiding" because of that. I also wonder if her family is still alive. They weren't on Mandalore itself, but we don't know just how far Moff Gideon took that destruction.
13:50 - There was a clue in the trailers, which I did spot (as did others). The "green flame" below the sphere (map) as it rose above the pedestal.
14:53 - Heh... don't feel bad. But I recognized him as the Drill Sargeant from Starship Troopers. However, he IS the same actor who voiced Ryder Azadi in the Rebels series.... so, once again, perfect casting.
15:23 - This question gets a little murky. Rebels ran up until Rogue One (0 BBY) in the timeline. The Mandalorian season 1 began in 9 ABY, and this is (according to Dave Filoni) 2 years after that (because Grogu spent 2 years with Luke before returning to Mando). These first few episodes likely run around the same time as The Mandalorian season 3, but it's hard to tell for sure.
18:15 - Disney sure has a way of creating adorable (if kinda ugly) creatures that will make a great Christmas plushy.... am I right? (and yes, I want one, too)
19:20 - That's a very good point. I'd be willing to bet that her relationship with Sabine ended a good bit before she met Grogu. Ahsoka, it seems, has trust issues ever since she found out Anakin turned into Darth Vader. She's almost terrified of "attachments". Also, the time between the end of Rebels and "now" is at least 14 years (even if you assume Mandalorian seasons 1&2 take place within the same year).
20:05 - Emme, look at what's left in the hologram... the "image" on the floor. Think of the Map as a Rubic's Ball... turn it until it matches the pattern on the floor in that temple. THAT is the "key".
There's a reason I love watching Reaction channels.... I often hear things you guys think of, and work it into what I already saw or know. I post like this because it's an interaction, and I like "giving back". Have a wonderful day!

You wasn't expecting that ending and I wasn't expecting the reaction! Can't believe you're reacting to Ahsoka already! Maybe someone I already mention this or maybe you've seen the second episode already but that lightsaber Sabine uses is Ezra's Lightsaber. Also, I'm not sure if you remember him or not, it wasn't clear to me in the reaction or maybe I missed, but the droid with Ahsoka first appeared in Clone Wars and, if I remember correctly, he said he was present when Yoda made he's own saber, and let me remind you, Yoda had, almost 900 years when he died. Oh, I loved the shirt.

Hey Emma, I'm so happy you're catching up and now virtually live. A few observations of your reaction to this episode. Particularly the "presentation" Sabine missed. The grey haired man: Ryder Azadi (I didn't check IMDb for spelling) was played by Clancy Brown, as he did voice the character in Rebels (and you're correct, Mr. Crabs although I'm more familiar with his Lex Luthor) and the young senator he told to talk to cover for him while he asked someone to find Sabine was the former imperial cadet that met Ezra and Sabine in "Old Joe's"
In case you missed it, Ryder said at the beginning of the presentation it was "several years" go that Extra and the rebels freed Luthal from the Empire.
Also the drawings the wall of the bunk of Ahsoka's ship would be Sabine's. They're not on the Ghost. Sabine would have used that bunk during her time training with Ahsoka.

At first an antagonist in the first game, she becomes an ally and friend to the main protagonist, a survivor of the Jedi Order, Cal Kestis, by the end of it, and his love interest in the second game 🎮 😍🥰😉😁👍. So glad you decided to post this now! Discussing a show and theorizing about everything is one of the really fun parts of being a Star Wars fan. There were some really cool Easter eggs in this show. The ship that Ashoka meets Hera on is Home One, which is Admiral Akbar’s ship from Return of the Jedi. The room that Ashoka and Hera meet in is the same briefing room where the rebels plan the attack on the 2nd Death Star. Also, the villain’s last names are Skoll and Hati, which are refeferences to the two wolves that chase the sun and moon in Norse mythology. Dave Filoni is a big fan of wolves apparently. They show up a lot in his material. Overall I really liked the episode. My one nitpick is that I don’t like this new trend of people taking a lightsaber to the chest and surviving. It happened twice in Kenobi and now obviously Sabine is going to survive. It makes Qui-Gon’s death seem a little lame.
