Please do more Tool reactions! Y’all clearly have a great taste in music and appreciate the little things that make songs so iconic and great. Loved it. Spiral out 🌀
Tool is the best on the planet. Every song will give you this reaction over all albums. They never cut any corners the whole career. It just gets better. I subscribed.
Now imagine your minds being blown like that... and so much more, with nearly EVERY song of theirs. That is who these guys are. Welcome to the wonderous world of Tool. These guys are really that damn good.
Entering into the rabbitt hole guys ! keep going ! I srsly recomend this cover - 46 and 2 by Tool / O'Keefe Music Foundation, cant wait to see you react of that video !
That's TooL for you. All it takes is one song to make you a fan. The journey through their entire discography is worth every step. Hope to see you continue along the trail 🤘
Well, I just happened to be here when you popped up. I love 46&2. Hopefully you will too........OK, you're done. I enjoyed your reaction. I look forward to seeing more Tool. You might enjoy "Pnuema." You might also enjoy the O'Keefe Music Foundation's cover of "46&2." Those kids are awesome!
These musicians are all the GOATS! more more more, come and join us in experiencing some of the most powerful transformative music you will ever lose yourself in. Prepare for enlightenment, ethereal and spiritual expansion, epiphanies that will connect thoughts you didn’t even know you had and take you to destinations you weren’t aware of. Given to you by these virtuoso’s of rock. This will move you to evolve and expand your heart and mind as you spiral out into the universe. Keep going. Human expression at it’s finest. Plus it ROCKS!
2:33, the toolgasm….. never gets old. Just close your eyes, you are about to go into the best rabbit hole in musical talent. Tool is an emotion…. And it’s clear you felt it already
9:07 - David Bottrill did the mastering on Aenima. Apparently Danny chased him down because they're all big King Crimson fans and they liked Dave's work with Fripp et al.
It’s very surprising that you never heard Tool’s Fortysix and 2. It’s one of their top 5 songs, IMO. The ABSOLUTE BEST cover of 46 and 2 is done by….KIDS! Check out the O’Keefe Music Foundation…KILLING IT! ua-cam.com/video/mYKLvYGqaC0/v-deo.html
TOOL, just the greatest rock band around these days. No question about it. And live? They are the only band I have seen (and I have seen a lot in my life), that were able to take me on a trip, without using drugs. Their shows are iconic. And every time you see them, you think "Well, that's it, that's the greatest thing I have ever seen" and then, the next time, they go on stage and top that experience.
I knew when you had to pause it like 4 seconds in because you really could feel that guitar beginning that you were in the right place. Subbed hoping you guys continue on your tool journey because if you like this one this much and really get their sound this is going to be a great journey. We usually don't recommend this one until people are a little bit more submerged into the tool world. Cuz it's very complex. But I think the fact that you are a musician yourself that you might be ready for it. Do... third eye ...and get the lyrics in front of you one way or another. The song is like a rock opera it has so many different parts
Love Tool and love this song, I'm surprised you haven't heard it. Thanks to you and Gary for the great reaction. If you want to hear something really cool check out The O'Keefe Music Foundation cover of this, it's all kids under 18 and the singer is a 9 y/o girl and it's mind blowing. Thanks again and stay safe and well.
Those bright highs and louder moments evoke strong internal emotions/reactions in us is why they 'work', and like you said, it would not be the same song without them.
Tool is the greatest band ever to change up the time signatures and make it sound amazing. My favorite band for over 20 years. I just seen them live in Boston Massachusetts last February , one of the greatest bands live as well. I have never heard a Tool song that I did not immediately feel drawn to . The lyrics to a majority of their songs are very deep. And personal , and life changing in the way it makes people feel about themselves, about the human race and how people are so drawn to some kind of personal change or change to the entire globe . 46&2 for instance is a great song and it gives me hope for the future of humanity I can relate to all tool songs in a way that no other band offers their audience . even other insanely awesome bands like Def Tones, Korn, Slip Knot, Nirvana does not facilitate thoughts of wanting change in the world or in ones personal life as much as tool does.
I wish I could go back in time & listen to this for the first time again! Enjoy guys. You have a massive rabbit hole ahead of you dare….. “Spiral out. Keep going…..”
Here you go listen to these boys for First time! LUCID PLANET-MONKEY3 up there with TOOL-Tribal- Acoustic -Metal sounds! Was it Aenema or was it Amen EA, was it Lateralus or was it Lateral US through the Spiral of Divinity? These big Pusifers, TOOL is the Perfect Circle! Spiral out@
The intro gave me a bit of a Doors vibe, but not quite. Gotta think about what made that connection... You keep posting them; I'll keep listening! I think of the one-offs as an appetizer for the weekend streams. I ended up being slotted for some studio time In Santa Fe on Saturday, but I think I should be able to catch all but the last few minutes if studio transport is not too testy.
Most of tools timing is off time like 5/8, 13/8 etc. A good example is Lateralus which the main riff goes from 9/8-8/8-7/8 then repeats. Also another great song by them to check out
Early Tool (heavier/angrier/raw): Sober, Crawl Away, Undertow, Flood, Opiate. Grungier/Progressive Tool: Eulogy, Stinkfist, Pushit, Aenima, Third Eye Full progressive/evolved Tool: The Grudge, Parabol & Parabola, Lateralus, Reflection, The Pot, Jambi, Right in Two Tool at the next level: Fear Innoculum, Pneuma, Invincible, Decending, Culling Voices, 7Empest
To me this is one of the most iconic opening bass lines to any song. The previous track titled 'useful idiot' actually leads well into Forty Six & 2 and if I ever put the later on a playlist, the former always leads into it.
Hey guys! Say, for your enjoyment, there's a youth band (School of Rock style) that did a very solid cover of this, with a young girl on vocals. I want to say Danny Carey himself even gave them props. Rock on, you two! 🤘😎👍
Took are the best! Check out Lateralus it is literally a pice of musical art! And also check out the drummer Danny Carey’s playing pneuma live in concert drum cam.
Tool is to metal (or where ever the fuck Tool falls into) as Pink Floyd is to rock. They don't "just" write songs. They create musical masterpieces. In fact I usually say that Tool and Pink Floyd are each in their own solar system in a solar system all to their own. I'm hoping to find Lateralus on your list and then afterwards a video a fan created which explains the foundation and mechanics of the song they built on the Fibonacci Sequence. I mean... Who the fuck even thinks up this concept and then makes it an epic masterpiece. Ps. You just earned yourself another subscriber. 🙂
I saw tool and Camden New Jersey at an Ozzfest. They stole the show. Giant mosh pit it was raining and muddy crazy time and no we weren't wearing masks LOL. back at that time everybody was so tired of '80s hair Glam bands when grunge came and was so refreshing and raw although I can't really call tool brunch not sure why place them that concert I'll never forget you get a chance go see them.

Welcome to TOOL. Where you feel like the songs aren't complicated...at all...when in reality, they're impossible to imitate even if you tried and practiced for the rest of your life. Lol
Maynard is an amazing musician but I personally like his work with A Perfect Circle better. If you like this you should check out A Perfect Circle as well. I suggest 3 Libras or their cover of John Lennon's Imagine.
The musicianship make most people completely lose the Jungian theory’s it is based on .. And you should see the O Keefe music foundation kids ,ranging in ages ,do it …amazing
You two would absolutely love the Danny Carey drum cam of “pneuma” LIVE IN CONCERT SO🔥
Here’s the link-ua-cam.com/video/FssULNGSZIA/v-deo.html
TOOL-LUCID PLANET-MONKEY3
It's literally one of the best things you'll ever see in your life
Ironically, I'd rather see a live drum cam video of this song in as high quality as the Pneuma video. *SHRUG*
Yes, yes, yes, and yes!!!!

Just saw them live this spring, they're amazing...1 of my all time fave bands and that's only because MJK has multiple bands that are all fire.
A Perfect Circle is AMAZING. Judith and Weak and Powerless are two of my faves. Passive as well.
PLEASE MORE TOOL,YOU GUYS GONNA LOVE THEM
7empest is a step up from this.
15:43, Grammy-winner.

More tool = more smiles. For everyone lol
You seem to know music. I like that. Try The Grudge by Tool next.
The instruments and music is like a soundgasam
So fun to watch your enjoyment♥
Danny Carey is the drummer and you gotta watch Pneuma Live. It's amazing!
The intro gave me a bit of a Doors vibe, but not quite. Gotta think about what made that connection...
You keep posting them; I'll keep listening!

Go down the TOOL rabbit hole, there will never be another band like TOOL! I suggest listening to all of their music, a lot of great experiences
Most of tools timing is off time like 5/8, 13/8 etc. A good example is Lateralus which the main riff goes from 9/8-8/8-7/8 then repeats. Also another great song by them to check out
Tool is the best band to ever exist.
More Tool please 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
My two favorite Tools songs, which I highly recommend, are The Patient and Right in Two.
"...shadows...shedding skin..."
Absolute Banger!!! There... I said it!!!!
I’m all in if there is more tool
Early Tool (heavier/angrier/raw): Sober, Crawl Away, Undertow, Flood, Opiate.
Grungier/Progressive Tool: Eulogy, Stinkfist, Pushit, Aenima, Third Eye
Full progressive/evolved Tool: The Grudge, Parabol & Parabola, Lateralus, Reflection, The Pot, Jambi, Right in Two
Tool at the next level: Fear Innoculum, Pneuma, Invincible, Decending, Culling Voices, 7Empest
How is it possible a guy with that many guitars hasn't ever heard TOOL?
And a drum kit?! Never heard of the G.O.A.T
To me this is one of the most iconic opening bass lines to any song. The previous track titled 'useful idiot' actually leads well into Forty Six & 2 and if I ever put the later on a playlist, the former always leads into it.
You might want to listen to more TOOL, they are AMAZING!!!
If you liked that.... Let the journey begin. Full Tool catalog!

Danny makes odd time signatures sound groovy.
Best description for Tool I can think of is, Heavy Metal Pink Floyd
Tip of the iceberg, enjoy the journey.
You guys should watch the lyric video...and i am sure this song will hit you on another level
If you haven't already, I highly recommend The Pot next! One of Tools greatest songs hands down.
Thanks. We reacted to it on our 26 June 2022 live stream
TOOL gets even better with every listen 🤯😎
ha I just so happen to be wearing the only tool shirt I own 😂
Probably the best band in the world
Yes....please start from the beginning
You guys are awesome. Loved your genuine reaction (most people can smell bull shit). You guys are legit!

46 and 2 (on Jung, Peterson, and TOOL): ua-cam.com/video/5vodKWIc638/v-deo.htmlsi=GHPu5jS7yQ7_LJK-
Maynard uses his voice like an instrument. So it is on purpose that you don't hear him as loud as you would a normal singer. No one is like Tool!
Welcome to TOOL. Where you feel like the songs aren't complicated...at all...when in reality, they're impossible to imitate even if you tried and practiced for the rest of your life. Lol
Good Lord if you like this there are so many. Try Lateralus and The Grudge from their album Lateralus. New sub.
If your into the timings... try 7empest by tool.... it's in 21.... yes 21
