Then BLACK MYTH should sue for defamation for one billion dollars against Sweet Baby.
They have to prove SBI maliciously published or promoted material intended to cause financial harm. They should actually be suing IGN because IGN has repeatedly published libellous and misleading information against the Black Myth team. That would be a case they could win. It could cost IGN millions and force an apology, maybe even resulting in the Black Myth team itself suddenly owning IGN from which they could proceed to fire all the woke employees and restructure the company.
It doesn't really work that way.
When you sue, you have to be able to prove damages. Which is hard especially in the cases of Media like video games and movies.
And if you *can* prove damages, you can then demand restitution equal to those damages. I'm pretty skeptical that they could make a claim of a billion dollars, though somewhere in the area of tens of million.... Maybe?
You've also got to be able to prove that sweet baby is behind the defamation in question. Which is gonna be hard unless you have it in writing or you have a confession. They'd have a much easier time suing IGN.
That being said, Extortion *is* illegal. And if they have any actual records of that extortion they can press charges over that.

Crazy considering how just revolutionary Alien Isolation is with its Ai system. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a game with such an advanced AI system ever… considering how crap the industry is now we probably won’t. On top of that the game was so good looking and still looks good to this day. It’s a shame the gaming industry is basically a dying fish at this point.
I remember IGN slagging off Alien: Isolation, but that didn’t dissuade me from buying it on release day and having the most intense gaming experience ever. The IGN writer who penned that hit piece was probably a Colonial Marines fan upset that there was no running and gunning scenes.
