At the age of 77, I adore this game. I've played it since release on Xbox and loved it on PC when it was released. Thank you for shining a light on this valuable game.
I am 19 sir and respect your passion for one.of my favourite games, you have any advice or tips for going through life and how to deal with grief, all the best
@@Stodge-ht9ieThis old guy has me by 1 year…been gaming since 1978. My advice for all you young men and women is real simple. Live the golden rule each and every day and live on 1/2 of what you earn. That's why I love it. I've played my share of tense, high anxiety games and some have been great but there's something special about a game that lets you just enjoy some serenity whenever you want. Then when you're done, you can create your own action and excitement.
- Don’t fast travel - Don’t rush the story, go hunting, fishing, stranger, bandit hideouts or upgrade your satchel and legendary outfit It’s a slow game, but if you enjoy exploration and adventure, you’ll love it. This is my 2nd playthrough, still in chapter 2 after playing 3 days ago
I have a save for the beginning of Chapter 2, and I’ve started from that point over and over again. I’m all about the hunting, the gambling, the clothes and hair, taming horses (especially the mustangs), and collecting the stolen hats; the story is great, but, honestly, it’s secondary to me. I always pick up the bolt action by shooting the Valentine sheriff during the hanging so I can play with my favorite rifle throughout. And I shoot a fisherman to take his rod.
Yeah but I don’t like that you have to do missions to unlock features, even in chapter two. If you want to brush and feed your horse you have to Hosea hunting bear mission, if you wanna go fishing jack’s mission.
@@zizouurb6332 No, the game is free, if you want to unlock the weapon, just kill a person with that certain weapon. If you want to brush your horse, just go to the stable, they will give you a brush. If you want to fish, just go find a person fishing, kill or beat them, then take his fishing rod. There's no boundaries in this game
I was playing RDR2 and my 81yr old mother though it was a movie, she just couldn't understand that I was actually playing a game. 😂 Oh I really miss you Mum. 😞🇦🇺
RDR2 is my fave game of all time. 5th play through, 720+ hours and I can’t just get enough of it. I don’t understand why RS would abandon a game that’s considered as their best masterpiece ever.
That GTA online money 😔.. They could've thrown some of that money into RDR2 as well. GTA5 was made long before RDR2, yet it stayed updated and worked on clean into 2020 while RDR2 had a few months then dropped.
Played thru rdr2 several times. The wife and I named our golden retriever Arthur just so we could say "hey Arthur" in that voice and " you're a good boy" in that voice lol. I recently played thru avatar frontiers of pandora and am on the first dlc right now, and i will say it's an amazing and extremely fun game that brought me back to the rdr2 days. RDR2 is the GOAT, but avatar and zelda botw and totk are very very honorably mentions :)
I also love Avatar, however they should have given you the Ikran sooner and the side missions are.very repetitive. The world is gorgeous though and the main missions and weapons are lots of fun
How could you forget the best play style! “The dad” just staying on the ranch and eating dinner with your family and doing chores, that’s how I’ve been spending my time every so often (PS doing chores on the farm gets honor)
best game ever made, I have just gotten BACK into it and still finding new things and enjoying just exploring the map and see what i get into. its a thing of beauty
I stopped playing it for about 2 years and I just recently started my like 7th play through about 3 weeks ago and I enjoyed it more then I thought I would
@fm-gamer5617 yeah why the heck didn't they do that? I mean it's a no brainer. Could have nice ray tracing with a smoother framerate and I can't believe they slept on undead nightmare for this 😫 shame shame shame
Been playing console and pc games since the first ones ever made. Built gaming pc’s for years. I own every console except PS5 and RDR2 is by far the best story game there ever was and possibly ever will be. I’m 65 now and I can play this game and go to a different time and life. Never get tired of it. Come on RDR3 bring it on!
@@Egobert But they like making money! RDR Online is nowhere near as big as GTA Online. A DLC for RDR2 was a guaranteed huge money-maker. That's why it's surprising.
Maybe because they sold us a complete game at the start, instead of making John epilogue a DLC? Or legendary animals DLC. I for one am happy to get a full game for one price, instead of paying extra for various bits of it. Same with Baldur's Gate 3.
@@SereglothIV that's a very fair point about the John epilogue. Would have been an easy cash-in and they didn't do it. Look, I'm talking from a place of love. I just want more and more RDR2. Doing my second "full" play-through now after 5 years and I love it even more, although its flaws still pain me.
Very right. RD2 is an experience. A masterpiece. You seek out these small "situations", not even missions. Rockstar are undisputed MASTERS of game making. Every GTA was a celebration in my house. New GTA or RDR means 2 weeks off work for me.
I clicked the vid because I said, "enjoy again??? This game is incredible to this day!" I enjoy the game so much, I never really gave thought to the lack of dlc and updates. I don't play online at all either. I simply 100% it, start a new game and 100% with a different demeanor such as being a good Arthur with a hard working ethic, or a trapper Arthur that hunts all day and occasionally heads into town to trade furs and get drunk. However, only halfway through and you have sold me. I'm definitely going to try some of these ideas soon. Great video
Love your vids, convinced me to restart RDR2 again. I’m in the same boat as you, RDR2 ruined other games for me and I’ve been thinking of coming back to it for a long time. RDR2 is the only game that truly feels like you’re entering into a real world that exists. These playstyle vids are awesome and are what made me want to play again in these new ways. Keep up the great work.
I remember when it came out...i was on a mission in Norway working 12hr night shifts the other 12 hrs of the day i was watching rdr2 live streams thankfully we had wifi... Couldn't wait to get back to play ...still haven't stopped
I have very little time to turn on my console during the week, and yet I find this is the only game I ever play. I might start something else, but I always come back to this masterpiece.
I JUST got to chapter 3 and I’ve already been playing it for 27 hours lol I do a lot of side quests, hunting, photography, saloons, baths, never leave the conversations, listen to all of the conversations at enemy campsites. I have only fast traveled once and it didn’t feel right. This is by far the slowest paced gameplay I’ve ever experienced. I absolutely love it
My friend I've played this game through 16 times by now and it never gets old for me, I also do try playing it in a different way each time... There is so much to explore and take in❤❤❤❤
One thing that I’ve done in a recent replay is once I get the boat for camp take time to explore over the water and see how far I can travel to rivers and streams
This is great stuff. I love knowing I'm not the only one who does this sort of role-playing post story in games like this. I personally like playing as though John is constantly looking for ways to make $ for his family. Hunting for pelts, robbing stores & people, stealing selling stagecoaches etc. And like you've said in another vid, commiting crimes causes bounty hunters to go looking for u which adds another layer of challenge (and free loot!).
I'm actually playing this game now, for the first time. I played a lot of RDR and early on, RDR2 gave me fits because the button layout was slightly different. So far this time around, RDR2 is a lot of fun.
Holy Crap! I have completed the story 5 times on this game, now running around as John robbing people, wiped out towns, hogtied a guy and put him on the train tracks and a train actually finally came!! LOL. Now just playing Texas holdem with my friends in the Black Water Saloon. I meet them there every Friday night! Then after I take a bath and always ask for help! Best Game ever made! Everything else is just a disappointment. The game is truly endless. I do wish I had some missions to do. Great Idea brother! I will try this! Awesome Video!
I'm on my 3rd run, and I've been pretty much playing the Outcast, just enjoying this beautiful open world as Arthur. This game has set the bar so high, that it makes any other open world game look bad indeed, specially in regards to npc's, lots of different people, with different dialogues. Workers go back home in the evening, it's just crazy... way ahead it's time. Also the first and only game in which I've had to stop, often times and just enjoy the scenery... inside a game, you just gotta love it
Great video 👍 But what I do after playing the game sooo many times = I started again from CH 1 to the epilogue. THE WHEEL, without doing any challenges, without side quests, only main story. Then I made a save : the wheel, but right at the start. So you have nothing, no money, no weapons. Only a knife and rope. Then I leave Pronghorse Range. You cannot buy anything (only horses at stables) but you can sell jewels etc. You can do challenges but cannot buy anything at the trapper for example) So you have to steal everything: weapons (mostly worm), but you can keep them all. (On a horse witje saddle) Great experience … over and over !
u tellem bruh, ive been tryin to put people on this game for yrs. i bought my stepson, and two of my brothers ps5's of course with rdr2. my stepson just beat rdr2 this yr😊
Going for 100% completion opens the game up in a way I never thought possible. Tedious sometimes sure but so fulfilling. Still discovering new things daily. This game/ simulation is amazing and more than a game, nothing comes close. I don’t even think gta6 can beat this and as much as I’d love an RDR3 I can’t see how they can match RDR2 unless the same team work killer hours to create better than perfection. 🙏
For me who only started the story mode for the first time this is really great for getting like the general idea of what to do apart from missions. You having 800subs is just mindblowing for me, i would expect maybe 200-400k subs, from this quality, storytelling and the concept of the video. Keep the good work and the subs will come!!
I have countless hours playing this masterpiece. Started playin in 2019 to present. Still never got past chapter 4😬 I just don’t want the story to end😔😆
I started the game all over again. Except this time around. No looting bodies, or stealing stuff from homes. Plus I work with the weapons I have No miracle tonics and just keep a cool $100 on me. Anything else donated to camp.
I have never used deadeye or cheat cards because they ruin the immersion. And I want to know that when I win in pvp its because of my skill and tactics and not because I was cheating with tonics and "ability" card "loadouts". I wish there were lobbies without either, and also without ridiculous rank-based health and damage cores. I wanna know how good that rank 1000 really is, because immersion should be based on actual skill, on a level playing ground, and without gimmicks. Irl, if a delta force operation gets shot in the head by a little kid, he still dies regardless of his skill, size, or how long hes been a delta force operator. It truly kills the immersion.
I have been a GTA fan forever. But, until R* goes back to updating & expanding RDR2, I refuse to buy GTA-6 no matter how good it may be! They did their fanbase a huge disservice with this one! Good vid, btw!
RDR 2 was never meant to be updated with DLC and expansions. The only post-launch updates were for Online and that was the deal the entire time. Not saying I wouldn’t love some extra stuff, but it’s not a live service game, it’s a story game.
I really like to do the crime boss thing in Saint Denis, but without killing any cop (honor moment). It's hard as hell, and my objective is to start on the northwest side of the city and move over to the mail office where you can pay your bounty undetected. I use both ground and roofs to get around and it's really fun.
The Brawler is an immersive possible role, actually. Never using firearms and only resorting blades when all else fails, to see if you can survive a two fisted, takes no sh*t play through, could be awesome. I learned only recently that you can actually make John or Arthur really buff by doing strenuous exercise, like rowing and camp chores. No mods required. If you do enough, whilst eating plenty, he gets an Arney physique, which is hard to keep up, like in real life. But it would be fitting for such play style?
Im doing my second playthrough, that might shock people who have never stopped playing this masterpiece, I tried a second play a year or 2 ago and didn't finish it, this time I'm ovrt 200 hours in and only into ealry chapter 3, im taking my sweet time, been hunting for days, exploring, fishing, strangers, camping hanging around towns, drinking, gambling, chilling with the gang and this time maxing all things like survival and hunting, doing EVERYTHING I missed out on originally. My first playthrough was pretty slow but this one..man, it just doesn't get boring if only the online was this emmersive and the world as alive, can you imagine? Rockstar truly dropped the ball there.. I'd love RDR3 to go even further back in time and show the rise of the gang, play as Dutch, Hosea and Arthur the way you did multiple characters in GTA 5 have it lead to Blackwater and the escape into the snowy mountains. I'd almost forgotten how much I love this damn game. 😂
Money. That’s the sole reason Rockstar left RDR2 in the dust. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING compares to the amount of money being made hand over fist with GTAV and their online “shark card” model. Yeah, they have a few extra billion to play with, but why spend any of that on more Red Dead media or other original projects? Nope-more money into GTA online. More money to line the executives pockets.
Fellow player of vidya games from ~5 years old. In terms of freedom, there really is NOTHING like it. Witcher 3 is great in terms of complex storylines, gwent (ofc), but in terms of pure freedom RDR2 is unparalleled - still Idk how many times I've just booted it up just to go on a mass rampage in Saint Denis 😅
This is my favorite game in my library. Over 700 Hours and still enjoying and finding things I’ve missed in first play through. Enjoy the combat but equally enjoy finding easter eggs and secrets! It is a beautifully done game and I would highly recommend it for one’s library. I wish Rock Star would have gave RDR2 a 60 FPS patch , that’s about my only complaint. Great Game though!
Ooh, nice ideas! I'll give 'em a try. Another idea I had was to play as a gambler, going to every saloon in the game and play high stakes poker. Maybe even RP that you got cheated, so you get into a fistfight with the other players and have to run away from town for a few days.
I have played only this game since it's release. I played the story over and over for 3 years before even touching online. It still has so much potential. An Indian outlaw pass would be amazing. Satchel design would be nice. Horse shoes for more speed, etc. You could do so much with this game and it's heartbreaking that they ditched it for gta
I would love to see an hour long gameplay for each play style. All concepts seem so fun but I would want to be as immersed as possible so I would want to go by an example. Also just seems like a fun video idea for u 😁 hop u see this and consider!
They don’t put out DLC because Rockstar is pretty much the only studio that puts out WHOLE games these days. They release, and go onto the next one. It’s a great thing, I think
Pro Tip for playing as The Outcast: get a big bounty in that area so that you will be woken up to bounty hunters tracking you and forced to engage with them. Really make you feel like an outcast and breaks any monotony in the day-to-day activities
Thank you for more ideas on how to enjoy rdr2 all the more. I have been using a few of my own ideas in this play through which I started in May. I just entered chapter 4 and will be holding here for quite some time. I'm at the place in the story that I want to be. I have other things to do as Arthur. I have not used fast travel or dead eye nor will I in this play through. It makes the entire world of rdr2 seem much larger when takes me three to four days to get to my destination. No dead eye makes a gun fight and hunting seem more realistic. I was surprised at how much I missed using fast travel. I keep my speed in travel slow, what's the rush? For taking my time I have been rewarded new experiences one of which involves the horses of rdr2 to go along with your rodeo scenario. The is no ATV better then a horse. Oddly enough I have really gotten in to the horses this time. I don't know if anybody else has noticed this but have you ever taken the time to watch the horses through your binoculars for a period of time? When watching them, keep your distance, in a herd you can select a horse by zooming in and watching it more then any other. Once the selected horse notices you watching it will walk away from the herd, others may follow. Keep following it till it stops in front of you. It may do a dance, lay down and roll on the ground. In general the horse will show off for you. I have spent a great deal of time doing this and have had the whole herds charge past me, very close, at full speed once I start ignoring them all. Then I run with them as far as I can. Since I have been doing this in the area of Hanging Dog Ranch for a while, I usually stay a couple of nights hunting and playing with the horses. Slow walk the entire area. I have had all types of horses spawn. Last night I had a herd of 4 Mustangs show up one of each Coat, I should say that I'm really thinking about grabbing the gray coat some day. There has been other horse incidents I could talk about but you get the idea. It takes time but running with the different herds is a lot of fun and the hunting in the area is great. I almost always have a three star Grizzly show up and a couple of wolves. Once you do this leave the area for at least 4 game days before you come back. Watching horses in other locations will have the same effect. I guess I'm already deep in to your rodeo idea and didn't know it. Now I have to pick a place to sleep, what a great Idea, and keep my extra horse there. Maybe that gray Mustang. Please keep these excellent videos coming, it is greatly appreciated.
Little did I know that I’ve been playing all of these (barring the rodeo) all at once. In the snow to hunt as much as I can, gather pelts to sell them and then taking them to saint denis to sell them and be the crimeboss until I come back. Being an outcast to run from the law and still make a living off of hunting (if high honor) or hunting and robbing (if low honor). With Arthur at the beginning of chapter 2, having no cash at all, it feels rewarding to just make it through like that
I think GTA 6 is going to bring some of RDR2 with it. The Map will be massive. I live in Tampa Florida which will be a part of the GTA 6 map and there’s a ton of opportunity to have a “living rural atmosphere” FAR away from the urban city life . I would not be surprised at all if you’ll be able to do things in GTA 6 which is similar to things in RDR2 not previously able to do in past GTA games.
Different team. All those that made RDR & RDR2 aren't with Rockstar anymore. Hope you are right but I am not expecting much from GTA6 apart from good graphics.
I am on my fourth playthrough, but I started this one to do hunting, etc. I did a few missions to open fishing and other things in Ch2. Now, I just do hunting and bringing meat to Pearson for provisions. It's just so peaceful. I didn't even do the debt missions and didn't rescue Micah from Strawberry yet. I want to make this playthrough strictly for camp life and outdoor exploration.
I remember when this game came out and once I could make a permanent Posse I called it the Cruel Cuban & Co and all we did was hunt down alligator skins. All Small Alligator skins would be stowed on the horse. And then we would either stow a Northen Pike or Perfect Alligator skin on the back. After a while we expanded to using some of the NPC small wagons to carry 4 large perfect skins (sometimes they disappeared in the wagons or mysteriously fell through the bottom of the wagon). After a while we decide to form our own Cuban Fishing Company. We took a picture in front of one of the Saint-Denis factory houses to make it official! To obtain a fishing boat just north of Van Horn, my crew and I killed an NPC using one of the small but fast steam-powered boats. Once we took possession of the boat, we would fill the boat with Muskie or Northern Pike. Some of the fish would disappear or fall through the boat but this didn't deter us. We sailed down to Saint Denis and offloaded all the fish on the port near the butcher and sold them. It would have been amazing if you could be supported by the game itself to fulfil such an adventurous endeavour.
A good way of playing, which im doing a playthrough at the moment, is playing the game in free aim & to not use deadeye. And limit yourself on consumables by not buying any and crafting what you need. In an intense firefight using free aim can be unforgiving. But using cover and planning your next move is always a blast. Not using dead eye (apart from when the storyline forces you into a deadeye state of course) is another stepping stone to this free aim challenge. Lastly consumables. This forces you out into the wilderness and using the lands, plants and animals to your advantage. Crafting what you need to survive. This can also be expanded to clothes through the trapper and some ammo like split point and things like small game or long range arrows. Completing the compendium is a been there done that for me as i 100 percented the game last year. But it definetly was a good challenge. Expecially those few rarer animals that would never spawn and those damn orchids 😂 Breaking horses also as you said that could be a fun addition. To never buy a horse. And to sell horses youve broken for profit. RDR2 is definelty not just a game. Its an experience. Something that you live not just play. So just role play as the player in that world by... sleeping at night, going to a tavern to get drunk & eat a meal, play poker, grow your hair our and style your beard, get Pearson some food as much as you can for camp and invest in dutch' lockbox to upgrade the camp. Im getting ahead of myself. I could talk for hours about what things could be done in this game. And that really speaks volumes for the people at Rockstar who have created this masterpiece.
I got it in my birthday in 2018, I was the happiest boy that day, 13 years old, I played the story and got depression straight for a week then I started with Online Beta and oh damnnn, I remember those bugs like floating boats and ship. I played it until 2019-2020 I stopped playing it bc I got into Call of Duty then I left RDR2, I started now again since 2 weeks and im completely in love and can't comprehend that im 19 now and this game is 6 years old damnnn. And sorry for my bad English guys
I found that crafting talismans, trapper gear and make as much money as possible to upgrade camp ,weapons ,saddles and more keeps things fresh for me also bounties, stranger quests and follow up on people you met . It hard to let this game get old because it would take me years spending 3 hours a day to find everything
There are some "sub-genre" immersive styles I think as well: the photographer (create compelling photos but limit to daguerreotype, cyanotype, and tintype photography), the crafter (craft all recipes/objects), and the story collector (listen to and interact with as many characters as possible to hear all of their stories -- not sure how you'd track this, though).
I think this could be put as simply as: get a job. Rancher, hunter, fur trapper, whatever it is. choose something specific and really dive into that role! Once you’ve finished that (or reached whatever goal you’ve set) then get rid of your provisions and make a life in a new job
I don't remember there ever being an update for Rdr2 in story mode, except for a winter clothing glitch that took Rockstar forever to fix that bled over from an RDO winter special event. I've been free roaming in my current playthrough since Sept of 2021, trying to complete the compendium, creating my own challenges, goals and games within the game. I'll probably replay it again and just take it slow with deliberate strategies and a detailed chill approach the next time I do.
So this time (I started again) I got all the gold bars first and hooked my camp and myself up. A lot more fire bottles arrows and dynamite make it wild! All the challenges early too. Good times
I've found the best way to enjoy the game is to wear headphones, turn off the map/Compass and use the land to find your way around (except for some missions where it requires you to stand in certain places). I've spent countless hours literally just taking in the world this way and have found most of what the game has to offer. Like for instance, there is three stags/bucks tangled together somewhere in West Elizabeth and all died there because none of them could get unstuck. I never would have found most of what I did with a map on focused on the waypoint. Another thing is turning off all aim assist, gunfights are much more immersive and difficult.
Try downloading mods from nexus, there is hundreds of player made dlcs that you can enjoy, strange i cant see anyone writing about mods in the comments
6:15 The crime boss is by far my favorite way to play, but i use the whole map. Riding from town to town, county side to country side stirring up stuff. Even on occasion hunting the bounty hunters myself before the see me
Every time Rockstar releases a game it feels like the game should be impossible to exist. RDR 2 is the kind of game I wished for when thinking about games of the future but rarely ever actually get
bro i love your videos you always find a way to make rdr2 fun again
So glad you enjoy them! If you ever have any ideas you want to share I’ll do my best to incorporate them 🙌 got many more vids on the way 😁

Oh I really miss you Mum. 😞🇦🇺
Sorry for your loss friend. 😢
@sacreddawn7778
Thankyou kindly. 🙂
I’ve played it with my mam also, for a couple of years now. It’s a special experience, and I’m so sorry you’ve lost her 💕
@RhiannonlivesforRamen
Thankyou my friend.
I'm glad you can share that with your mum. 🙂
Sorry for your loss, I hope you’re holding up alright
RDR2 is my fave game of all time. 5th play through, 720+ hours and I can’t just get enough of it. I don’t understand why RS would abandon a game that’s considered as their best masterpiece ever.
That GTA online money 😔..
They could've thrown some of that money into RDR2 as well.
GTA5 was made long before RDR2, yet it stayed updated and worked on clean into 2020 while RDR2 had a few months then dropped.
@ i know right. They’re just too greedy.
You’re a good boy. Yeeeah, good boy
@@BussinGhandi lol hell yeah ❤️
It's lovely you call yo wife "The wife"
I also love Avatar, however they should have given you the Ikran sooner and the side missions are.very repetitive. The world is gorgeous though and the main missions and weapons are lots of fun
How could you forget the best play style! “The dad” just staying on the ranch and eating dinner with your family and doing chores, that’s how I’ve been spending my time every so often (PS doing chores on the farm gets honor)
Glad to see people still enjoy rdr2 in 2024. I know I do, especially playing as an outcast.
best game ever made, I have just gotten BACK into it and still finding new things and enjoying just exploring the map and see what i get into. its a thing of beauty
I stopped playing it for about 2 years and I just recently started my like 7th play through about 3 weeks ago and I enjoyed it more then I thought I would
The hardest part is that they never made a ps5 Xbox series x enhanced version. It’s a shame to this beautiful game
@fm-gamer5617 yeah why the heck didn't they do that? I mean it's a no brainer. Could have nice ray tracing with a smoother framerate and I can't believe they slept on undead nightmare for this 😫 shame shame shame
It still blows my mind how good this game looked even on a base ps4.
I dont like gta a bit but when I started to play RDR2, love at first sight
The biggest no-brainer open goal in video games is a single player DLC for RDR2 and i will never, ever understand why we didn't get one.
Because they didn't want it?? Why is so hard to understand? Same thing happened to GTA V they left the story mode alone since it dropped
I agre they should have some cowboys vs aliens or undead 2
Very right. RD2 is an experience. A masterpiece. You seek out these small "situations", not even missions. Rockstar are undisputed MASTERS of game making. Every GTA was a celebration in my house. New GTA or RDR means 2 weeks off work for me.
I completely agree completed the game 6 times and now going for the 7th still finding things and stuff now
I clicked the vid because I said, "enjoy again??? This game is incredible to this day!"
I enjoy the game so much, I never really gave thought to the lack of dlc and updates.
Great video
RDR2, for me, was a one and done. I played it, loved it, and the ending broke my heart.
Yes, very sad and touching story! Makes me miss Arthur!
Thanks so much for the support it’s hugely appreciated, really happy that you find the vids helpful! Got plenty more different ones on the way 🙌😁
I remember when it came out...i was on a mission in Norway working 12hr night shifts the other 12 hrs of the day i was watching rdr2 live streams thankfully we had wifi...
Definitely a great way to see the countryside 🙌 Also very fun when I’ve done it
This is great stuff.
Definitely! That’s also a great role playing idea for sure 🙌
As someone playing this game for the first time in 2024, I truly believe this is one of the best games ever made.
I bought this game for my niece in Jan 2019. I just started it in June and it is absolutely my favorite game.
Just picked it back up for the first time in almost six years. Thanks for the suggestions.
I was just telling my "posse" yesterday that we need to saddle up and go finish business in RDR2. Incredible game
Also the first and only game in which I've had to stop, often times and just enjoy the scenery... inside a game, you just gotta love it
Great video 👍
But what I do after playing the game sooo many times =
I started again from CH 1 to the epilogue. You can do challenges but cannot buy anything at the trapper for example)
So you have to steal everything: weapons (mostly worm), but you can keep them all. (On a horse witje saddle)
Great experience … over and over !
u tellem bruh, ive been tryin to put people on this game for yrs. i bought my stepson, and two of my brothers ps5's of course with rdr2. my stepson just beat rdr2 this yr😊
Man that intro is just SPOT ON👌🏼
Going for 100% completion opens the game up in a way I never thought possible.
@@andrejbedi150 Thanks so much for the support it’s hugely appreciated! Hopefully I can grow some more 🙌
I have countless hours playing this masterpiece. Started playin in 2019 to present. Still never got past chapter 4😬 I just don’t want the story to end😔😆
@@outlaw_86 It’s just too good to end 🙌
Please finish the story, it has the best ending in fiction
This is the best game of all time. I’m looking forward to your tips because I want to play through again. No game even touches it.
Man what an awesome idea and an awesome original video!
I started the game all over again. Except this time around. No looting bodies, or stealing stuff from homes. Plus I work with the weapons I have No miracle tonics and just keep a cool $100 on me. Anything else donated to camp.
Love this play style 🙌
Is there a way to replay the story with all of weapons, outfits, and trinkets that you’ve acquired?
I completed the story mode 100% and beat everything online 🔥 there's nothing better then
RDR 2 🤟🏻
I have been a GTA fan forever. But, until R* goes back to updating & expanding RDR2, I refuse to buy GTA-6 no matter how good it may be!
They did their fanbase a huge disservice with this one!
Good vid, btw!
It's not that deep bro lol enjoy the good things in life
Well you can count on not buying gta 6 ever in your life lol.
Its called finishing the fucking game lil bro, you will buy GTA 6 on launch stfu
RDR 2 was never meant to be updated with DLC and expansions. The only post-launch updates were for Online and that was the deal the entire time. Not saying I wouldn’t love some extra stuff, but it’s not a live service game, it’s a story game.
@@GGlowgains
He’s lying to himself.
I really like to do the crime boss thing in Saint Denis, but without killing any cop (honor moment).
It's hard as hell, and my objective is to start on the northwest side of the city and move over to the mail office where you can pay your bounty undetected. I use both ground and roofs to get around and it's really fun.
I’ve played this more than GTA 5 and I keep coming back to it
Staying at valentine ✌🏻✌🏻🥧🥧 Getting into Bar Fights and trying to win the 'five finger fillet challenge' ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻☕☕☕
Awesome way to have fun in the game. Was going to add this in the video but chose the Rodeo in stead 😆
@@ashroskell Definitely an interesting play style for sure, will have to talk abt this in a video 😁
Man, I've beat RDR2 at least 6 times now. Probably gonna replay it again now.
I bought a couple of GTAs over the years and I never cared for it much but Red Dead was the game I always wanted.
Wow. I mean wow. You make me want to start this up and just live in rdr2.
This is damn good content young man. Keep up the good work.
Fellow player of vidya games from ~5 years old. In terms of freedom, there really is NOTHING like it. Witcher 3 is great in terms of complex storylines, gwent (ofc), but in terms of pure freedom RDR2 is unparalleled - still
Idk how many times I've just booted it up just to go on a mass rampage in Saint Denis 😅
It’s just too good of a game 🙌
Literally subbed so fast. This is great content
Love your videos mate. Your appreciation for Red Dead mirrors my love for this game.
Up in the mountains of New Mexico is exactly like this. Stunningly beautiful, like nothing you’ve ever seen
Your so underrated i love you bro❤
Thanks so much for the support it means a ton! Got plenty more videos coming out shortly 🙌😁
@@ProScrood awesome your the best rdr2 UA-camr😁❤
Ooh, nice ideas! I'll give 'em a try. Another idea I had was to play as a gambler, going to every saloon in the game and play high stakes poker. Maybe even RP that you got cheated, so you get into a fistfight with the other players and have to run away from town for a few days.
I have played only this game since it's release. I played the story over and over for 3 years before even touching online. It still has so much potential. An Indian outlaw pass would be amazing. Satchel design would be nice. Horse shoes for more speed, etc. You could do so much with this game and it's heartbreaking that they ditched it for gta
i enjoy red dead 2 after the 11th time playing the story and do random stuff
Never gets old 🙌
I would love to see an hour long gameplay for each play style.
The graphics on this is elite. No wonder this is the best game ever 🎉!!
For sure, always will be 🙌
I got the Same opinion man!Best looking game ever, and the game play is gorgeous!

@@chochoproductions5720 Oh I thought the Micah cosplay was a conscious choice, this reply would suggest otherwise.

I've only played through this game once but I got 100% after 280 hours. Its a magnificent game
I vibe so much with you man
Thank you so much, I vibe with you too 🙏😁
Little did I know that I’ve been playing all of these (barring the rodeo) all at once.
I couldn’t care less about GTA VI. RDR2 is amazing. I still play it.
Expecially those few rarer animals that would never spawn and those damn orchids 😂
Breaking horses also as you said that could be a fun addition.
I like your style dude. If they won't update the game, we must update ourselves.
I wish there was some Eternal sunshine of spotless mind kind of treatment that would allow playing RDR2 for the first time again and again.
I think this could be put as simply as: get a job. Rancher, hunter, fur trapper, whatever it is. choose something specific and really dive into that role! Once you’ve finished that (or reached whatever goal you’ve set) then get rid of your provisions and make a life in a new job
I did near 900h in my first play through. Just finished a week ago. Amazing.
Can you imagine what RDR3 will be in maybe 8-10 years from now if we consider the speed at which the technology is moving?
Damn bro i love ur content fr❤
Thank you so much it means a lot, glad you enjoy it 😁
So this time (I started again) I got all the gold bars first and hooked my camp and myself up.
Bro the best cabin is hands down The Loft in Grizzlies East
I've played it 7 times never tired of it
Great video, RP does so much to video games! Shame that rdr2 doesn't support the outcast role better :(
I’m on my 3rd playthrough…. I’m just chilling in chapter 2… searching for treasure… hunting… walking around, eating at the bars.. etc
Try downloading mods from nexus, there is hundreds of player made dlcs that you can enjoy, strange i cant see anyone writing about mods in the comments
someone said this game is like a trip in the woods, when we were kids, prepared a sandwich and drink and went in the woods,u never know what comes next
6:15 The crime boss is by far my favorite way to play, but i use the whole map. Riding from town to town, county side to country side stirring up stuff. Even on occasion hunting the bounty hunters myself before the see me
Dude this game has filled a void in my heart
Every time Rockstar releases a game it feels like the game should be impossible to exist. RDR 2 is the kind of game I wished for when thinking about games of the future but rarely ever actually get
