Honestly the way that Dutch's gang differs from gangs of the time is almost like a cult, only he didn't have them doing strange things that would be out of the ordinary for gang activity. He was kind of a central personality that a group of people gathered around ideologically. Like a lot of cults though, eventually the idealism meets a reality check, and it all fell apart. I don't think Dutch's gang is implausible along this line of thinking. He's a charismatic man with a strong vision for what freedom means and it spoke to people who were vulnerable like orphans and those who are othered or ostracized, he is skirting that line between gang leader and cult leader.
A good dlc for rdr2 would probably be all the way back to when Arthur was first adopted by Dutch and Hosea, and they could have a time skip of 5 or 6 years each skip being an hour or 2 of story content with 30 minutes or so worth of side content for each time skip all the way until we get to a couple months to a year before the ferry heists. Thats just an idea I thought would be interesting.
yeah maybe johns loyalty is inaccurate but im sure finding a bad bitch with an attitude like abigail in the 1800s was like finding a mechanical pencil on the classroom floor
cowboys are herders, and animal caretakers. Not gunfighters, cowboys did use guns, not colt saa's though, they were expensive, so they mainly used hand me downs, like percussion revolvers, rifles, or cheaper alternatives like Remington Revolvers, Surplus S&W no.3, if we go into the 1880s, and percussion revolvers. Ones who did get them either saved up to get one, or were rich. Mythos that come with cowboys are false, sure Little Arkansas, Billy the Kid, Bass were ranch hands. But they were outlaws, robbers, the only gunfighters who actually had a feared and documented fight: Little Arkansas. He actually knew how to fight hand to hand, and was a deadly gunfighter, but like most. He is mostly a myth, and legend, not too documented. Wild Bill Hickok, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday, pretty much chalk up to romanticized versions. In reality, they'd be weaker in real life, not exactly what we see in movies. So the difference in gunfighters: people who have retained a reputation in gunfights, outlaws, lawman, and any other occupation. Cowboys were just ranch hands, basic at everything, or dumb.
I'm actually starting my 2nd playthrough of RDR2, and apparently, during the Blackwater Massacre, Javier mentions that John got shot, as well as Davey and Mac Callender, though it could be put up to debate due to the fact there's no evidence or other mentions of John being shot other than this one piece of dialogue, and if anyone's wondering, I'm talking about the 'Enter, Pursued by a Memory' mission in Chapter 1
Some trees flourish, others die. Some cattle grow strong, others are taken by wolves. Some men are born rich enough and dumb enough to enjoy their lives. Ain’t nothing fair. You know that.” The interesting thing about that is the philosophy is almost very in line with Micah Bell’s, Micah believed that everyone had to die someday and that survival was everything. Some die and some live, it’s why he didn’t act shocked when he was shot.

Arthur is most likely around the 5'10" - 5'11" range, which would be above average male height in 1899.
Please do a video on if John could survive the wasteland 🙏
it’s on the agenda
He’s got a horse, a gun, and a hat.
That’s enough proof for me.
fair enough
I will watch it one day
Ok
How historically accurate is Micah
🐀
Ive been waiting this longer than gta 6
Wait until part 3, gta 7 will be out by that time
Absolutely
Id suggest dutch breakdown
If I were you, I'd definitely make more of these videos other than just one more on Jack. I don't doubt they take a lot of work but just my opinion.
@@pureCHiCANEry Yea but the problem is overlapping information. I’d basically be regurgitating what i already said with some slight tweaks
yeah maybe johns loyalty is inaccurate but im sure finding a bad bitch with an attitude like abigail in the 1800s was like finding a mechanical pencil on the classroom floor
there were loyal men and john is a prime example
Do Javier Escuella next!
4:31 0.10 Seconds if drawn correctly. I clocked him in at that when I QuickDraw.

cowboys are herders, and animal caretakers.
The guy that spread the myth of Cowboys being baddasses was embarrassed by his job
Lets goooo new long from video
how does this rdr1 footage look so nice also do you think the rdr1 pc port is happening?
it’s from Rdr.Outlaw’s recent upload, he uploaded the entire rdr1 cutscene movie enhanced. i hope a rdr pc port happens although

Jack next?
soon
I'm actually starting my 2nd playthrough of RDR2, and apparently, during the Blackwater Massacre, Javier mentions that John got shot, as well as Davey and Mac Callender, though it could be put up to debate due to the fact there's no evidence or other mentions of John being shot other than this one piece of dialogue, and if anyone's wondering, I'm talking about the 'Enter, Pursued by a Memory' mission in Chapter 1
he could’ve been grazed but with his Marston luck i doubt it
John was definitely shot during the Blackwater heist. He talks about I’m in RDR1 too.
I swear John is 6,2 in rdr1 he’s fucking huge compared to everyone else in game besides bigfoot
I'd like to see a video on whether Arthur or John is the better fighter, as far as guns and brawling.

Some trees flourish, others die. Some cattle grow strong, others are taken by wolves. Some men are born rich enough and dumb enough to enjoy their lives. Ain’t nothing fair. You know that.”
The interesting thing about that is the philosophy is almost very in line with Micah Bell’s, Micah believed that everyone had to die someday and that survival was everything. Some die and some live, it’s why he didn’t act shocked when he was shot.
Nice connection
Will you do a video on dutch or the pinkertons
eventually yes
hell yeah
You forgot to mention me Duke
I loved the video
john height is very inconsistent in rdr1 he’s stated to be 6ft in cutscenes in rdr2 he stands the same height as arthur etc
