This drone reminds me a lot of the Contixo. Even with the case setup and the battery. Specifically the F24 Pro. Having no gimbal was a huge issue. If I had this drone I would use it as you said. I would let someone just learning to fly use it. Great job Eddie.

Interesting review. I agree with you that you cannot compare this to a DJI or Autel drone. It’s made for those who can’t afford those drones and as you said, “can learn how to fly first”... I personally would recommend beginners to fly those cheap $20 small whoop drones indoors and learn the flight basics and orientation going before moving them up to this one. It might be intimidating to a beginner as their first drone. Good review man. 👍🏻

How poor is it compared to those DJI drones you mention? I was considering a drone for shooting video in national parks. Is it not stable enough? Video quality not good enough? Please explain - it is a budget option compared to DJI, so what are we giving up? Tx!
Video quality between a Ruko and DJI drone is night and day. Not to mention transmission system as well, which DJI will blow this out the water. This is good for beginners and hobbyist that want to get their feet wet in drones. Owning this will definitely make you upgrade to a DJI drone.

I have the original dobo head mount for the dji fpv drone, and i also have an 8 hero black (full size) and a geprc hero 8 black naked. I have both with same settings, wifi off and all the same settings. Thing is that with the naked i get a satelite drop to almost 0 and with the full size i don't have any problem. Any idea of this? So my 10 year old nephew wants a drone for Christmas. His mom has already told him no, because she cant afford to buy something for 100's of dollars and have it break. Well Im not his mom, Im uncle and uncle wants to get my dude a drone. My question is would this be a good first drone for a 10 year old?
Why are drones so expensive in the states? The same drone with a 2 axis gimbal and eis is $250(5 km range) In Canada from Aliexpress.that is $175 US. Also Ruko is an Amazon brand. It is known as sjrc everywhere else.
No ruko is not DJI but they are really good drones. DJI breaks the bank. Everybody cannot afford the thousands off top. I'm adding to my fleet and this one is my next bird.

How do you get the video feed up?? I’ve done every troubleshooting method possible and the video feed will not come up. iPhone 14 pro if that helps.
