How's the 4K Video Quality? I feel like it looks a bit pixelated to me... I tried using Capcut to edit this video & turns out, 4K video export quality is terrible 😅. I guess I'll go back to using Final Cut Pro for the next video.
To the people who are curious about the face ID repairing. I have tested these models so far: 11, 11pro / pro max, 12, 12pro, 12 pro max, 13, 13 pro, 13 pro max, 14, 14 pro max. All of these models, the face ID parts will not pair. The face ID will come up as genuine when you first initialize the calibration mode, but then will fail during the process. I have used known working components. All the other parts will pair just fine, however if you replace the LiDAR it will cause the rear camera to not calibrate. In fact it will go to calibrate then immediately skip through and just go to the restart phone. Once again, I have tested several known working LiDAR sensors, and had no luck. Hopefully in future an update will sort that out. I have not tried any iPhone 15's or 16's though, Hopefully these model do not have the issue.
IRP employee here, ever since iPhone 12 Pro, pro max when we do a rear cam module replacement, we have to do this ridiculously calibration process. Only thing we can think of is, lidar sensor 😅
What about iphone 12 screens. It will helpful if u do 12 screen test. If we are changing another OEM screen on 12, front sensor have to belong that screen?. I really need your help on this. If i use pulled OEM screen and different front sensor from another device can make the screen as genuine part. Is there any way to pair a different screen and front sensor!
Allegedly on iphone 15 and up front camera/face ID is swappable. 11-14, not swappable but apple has the assembly listed as a part for like... 300$. I would hope it would work 🤣

This is going to be an issue for shops buying top glass refurb screens which 'technically' are OEM. Most screens that have gone through a refurb top glass process have been removed from a device that is iCloud Locked. Which is slightly unfair for repair shops that want to offer the best quality parts. Customers are now going to be confused af when they see someones Apple ID flagging up on their iPhone after a screen replacement.
Some shops replacing with original top glass refurbished screens are also swapping the touch ic from the original screen to the replacement refurbished screen. This means all this process doesn't matter! Phone thinks it's the original screen, so there's no need for any repair calibration.
We can still get oem from the Chinese. They can't stop it. Have you ever heard of the company rewa?😂😂 they've overcome everything apple has thrown at them as far as right to repair goes.
@@VCCBoardRepairs think about how much laughter they have imagining us technicians, turning left and right as if we were having an epileptic fit, during camera calibration..unbelivable..the same laugh I have when I repair one of their phones that they had thought was beyond repair, and I prevent them from selling a new one

I just do diagnostic mode every time now. I averaged it out to 9 attempts per phone, some take 50+ lol, but diag always works first attempt

So Basically you can not replace any if you don't know the previous owner. Apple is stopping the Chinese secondhand parts market and repair shops..
